탄성밴드운동이 간호대학생의 체성분, 체력과 건강증진행위에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Resistance Band Exercise on Body Composition, Physical Fitness and Health Promoting Behavior in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a resistance band training program on body composition, physical fitness, and health promotion behavior in nursing students. Method: This study has a one-group pretest-posttest design to examine the change in body composition, physical fitness, and health-promoting lifestyle profile after participation in the resistance band training program. Training consisted of hands-based exercises using an elastic resistance band for ten weeks. Participants performed the resistance band training two days per week with a sports trainer, and 30 minutes self-training three days per week. The participants were 21 freshmen in nursing. Results: Mean age of the participants was 20.9 years, and 61.9% were not satisfied with their body shape. After the training program, muscle mass, muscular endurance, and balance of the body were significantly improved. In health promoting lifestyle profile, categories of physical activity, health responsibility, and stress management showed a significant increase. Conclusion: Results of this study suggested that exercising with a resistance band improved body composition, physical fitness, and health promoting behavior in the nursing students. We propose that resistance band training should be suitable for those who have the environment with limitation of time and space.

  • 정보화 사회의 급격한 발전에 따라 건설산업 역시 건설 IT의 적용, 신공법 개발, 건설자동화, 정책 및 제도의 변화 등 기술적, 구조적 진보에 따른 많은 변화가 발생하고 있는 실정이나, 이를 활용하는 개인의 적응(숙련)은 그에 미치지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라, 제조업을 비롯한 타 산업과 같이 건설산업 역시 이러한 시대적 기술적 변화에 각 구성원들이 어떻게 적응하고 변화하는 가에 대한 기초적 연구가 필수적이며, 이를 바탕으로 건설조직의 운영에 있어 많은 시간, 노력, 비용을 절감방안 수립 및 인력자원 재배치를 통한 유휴자원을 효율적으로 운영이 가능할 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 기존 사회과학 분야에서의 개인 저항성 모델을 활용하여, 건설산업에서 개인 저항성을 일으킬 수 있는 주요 저항요인들을 분석하였으며, 각 요인들의 상호관계에 대해 규명 분류를 통한 저항요인들 간의 관계를 나타내는 개념적, 도식적 모형을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 ICT융합기술의 농업분야에의 수용의도에 대한 귀농의사자의 인식을 조사하기 위하여 수행하였다. 연구대상은 편의표본 및 판단표본추출법에 의한 귀농의사자 218명이었으며 SPSS 22.0으로 탐색적 요인분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 타 분야의 선행연구와 같이 독립변수인 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적 영향이 ICT융합기술의 농업분야에의 수용의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 이들의 영향관계에 혁신저항의 유의한 조절적 영향을 검정할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 실제 귀농에 이른 후의 인식변화는 검정하지 못한 점, 성별 등의 통제변수를 고려하지 못한 점 등의 한계를 가지고 있다. 연구 성과로는 타 분야에서의 통합기술수용이론의 결과를 본 연구에서도 확인하였다는 점이다. 본 연구가 ICT융합기술의 농업분야에 관한 연구를 더 촉진할 것으로 기대한다.

An Integrated Approach in the Pest Management in Sericulture

  • The success of sericulture industry in India is mainly attributed to the well-planned annual sericultural activity and the systematic implementation of pest preventive and control measures. The insect spectrum of silkworm and its food plants is complex and plays a major role in limiting the production of silk. Insects cause extensive damage to plant whereas predators and parasites either kill the silkworm larvae or force them to spin flimsy cocoons. Unilateral control measure against this pest is mainly based on the use of synthetic organic insecticides. Though these approaches initially paid rich dividends, the undesirable consequences soon surfaced. Insecticide induced resurgence of gall midges, leafhopper, leaf roller, secondary pest out breaks and development of pest biotypes has led to realization of Integrated Pest Management in sericulture. Various components of IPM, viz. Host plant resistance, cultural practices, biological control, chemical control and integrating them at various technological levels have been studied. Sources of host plant resistance have been identified for some of the major insect pests. High yielding mulberry variety has been propagated and their resistances towards major pests have been recorded. Cultural practices like pruning, pollarding, judicious use of nitrogen, optimum spacing and weed management have preyed to be the powerful tools in containing pests. Natural control over the pest population build- up exerted by the wide range of parasitoids, predators and pathogens has been well documented with identification of natural enemies and studies on their potential. Augmentation, through inoculation or inundative releases of parasitic arthropods, is the most direct way of increasing the numbers of these beneficials in sericulture.

전자부품의 방열방향에 따른 접촉열전도 특성 (Characterization of a Thermal Interface Material with Heat Spreader)

  • The increasing of power and processing speed and miniaturization of central processor unit (CPU) used in electronics equipment requires better performing thermal management systems. A typical thermal management package consists of thermal interfaces, heat dissipaters, and external cooling systems. There have been a number of experimental techniques and procedures for estimating thermal conductivity of thin, compressible thermal interface material (TIM). The TIM performance is affected by many factors and thus TIM should be evaluated under specified application conditions. In compact packaging of electronic equipment the chip is interfaced with a thin heat spreader. As the package is made thinner, the coupling between heat flow through TIM and that in the heat spreader becomes stronger. Thus, a TIM characterization system for considering the heat spreader effect is proposed and demonstrated in detail in this paper. The TIM test apparatus developed based on ASTM D-5470 standard for thermal interface resistance measurement of high performance TIM, including the precise measurement of changes in in-situ materials thickness. Thermal impedances are measured and compared for different directions of heat dissipation. The measurement of the TIM under the practical conditions can thus be used as the thermal criteria for the TIM selection.

자동차 정션박스의 열성능 개선을 위한 연구 (A Study of the Improvement of Thermal Performance of a Junction Box of a Passenger Car)

  • Thermal management of a junction box of a passenger car has recently become more challenging due to its smaller size and larger current capacity. Thus, it is essential to perform the thermal optimization of a junction box in its design on an early stage of vehicle design. In this study, 3 dimensional CFD simulation with experimental measurement has been done to study for better thermal management of the junction box. First, the study of thermal characteristics of electric relays in the junction box has revealed that each surface of the relay has very different thermal resistance. In addition, an idea to install a cooling fan on the junction box has been studied and it was found that the forced cooling method was not effective on the system to keep the thermal resistance to the reasonable level of the junction box. Finally, the effect of external flows around the junction box on the temperatures of the relays, fuses, etc. has been studied and the result shows that the installation of the junction box at the proper place in an engine room can avoid any unnecessary overdesign in thermal management.

원통형 이차전지의 저항용접 품질 향상을 위한 공정 최적화 (Process Optimization for Improving Resistance Welding Quality of Cylindrical Secondary Battery)

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the optimal conditions for the spot welding process that mechanically connects the case of a cylindrical secondary battery and the negative tab. Methods: We use 33 factorial design to derive the optimal conditions for the spot welding process. The pulling strength, the cross-sectional area of nugget, and the shock test life are selected as response variables, which can represent the resistance welding quality. The input variables are selected as the welding time, welding voltage, and pressure, which are the controllable factors in the spot welding process. Results: The main effects of welding time and welding voltage and the interaction effect of welding time and welding voltage are significant. Conclusion: The optimal conditions for the spot welding process to mechanically join the negative electrode tab of the cylindrical secondary battery and the battery case are developed. The result shows that the pulling strength is increased by 44% compared to before improvement under optimal conditions.

Vulcanizate Structures of NR Compounds with Silica and Carbon Black Binary Filler Systems at Different Curing Temperatures

  • There is an increasing demand for the rolling resistance reduction in truck bus radial (TBR) tires in the tire industry. In TBR tires, natural rubber is used as a base polymer to prevent wear and satisfy required physical properties (cut and chip). A binary filler system (silica and carbon black) is used to balance the durability of the tire and rolling resistance performance. In this study, natural rubber (NR) compounds applied with a binary filler system were manufactured at different cure temperatures for vulcanizate structure analysis. The vulcanizate structures were categorized into carbon black bound rubber, silica silane rubber network, and chemical crosslink density by sulfur. Regardless of the cure temperature, the cross-link density per unit content of carbon black had a greater effect on the properties than silica due to affinity with NR. The relationship analysis between the mechanical, viscoelastic properties with vulcanizate structure could be a guideline for manufacturing practical TBR compounds.

  • 가상현실 상황에서 모션인식 사용자 인터페이스는 사용자 경험의 현실감을 향상시킨다. 본 연구는 모션인식 인터페이스로 활용되는 제품인 '립모션'에 대한 잠재고객들의 혁신저항 및 수용 메커니즘을 지각된 위험 이론을 기반으로 연구하였다. 기존 혁신저항 및 제품 수용에 관련된 연구들은 지각된 위험의 결과 또는 지각된 가치가 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 단면적으로 다루어 왔다. 본 연구는 수용과 저항의 다차원적 관점을 기반으로 선행연구를 종합적으로 검토하여 지각된 위험 및 가치에 영향을 미치는 선행요인들을 제시하고 지각된 위험과 가치가 혁신저항에 미치는 복합적인 역학관계를 다루고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 기존의 수용 관점 모형에 포함되었던 선행요인들이 지각된 위험을 감소시킬 수 있고, 지각된 가치가 높으면 혁신저항이 감소한다는 점을 발견하였다.
