소프트웨어 서비스(Software as a Service): 핫스팟 문제점을 해결하기 위한 통합시스템에 관한 연구 (Software as a Service: A Study on Integration System for Mitigating Hotspot Problem)

  • 최근 컴퓨터 가상화 기술이 발전됨에 따라 필요한 소프트웨어를 서비스 형태로 사용하는 소프트웨어 서비스(Software as a Service SaaS)가 많은 응용분야에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나 소프트웨어 서비스를 제공하는 기존 시스템은 사용자의 증가에 서버 성능이 급속히 저하되는 문제점과 일시적인 사용자 폭증으로 생기는 핫스팟(Hotspot)에 안정적인 서비스를 제공하지 못하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문은 소프트웨어 실행을 위한 작업들이 모두 서버에서 실행되는 것이 아니라 데이터 집중적인 작업들은 서버에서 직접 실행하고 그래픽 집중적인 작업들은 네트워크 전송을 통하여 클라이언트에서 처리되는 분할 실행 방식과 개별적으로 운영되는 SaaS 서버들을 하나로 통합하는 시스템을 제안한다.

  • As service firms continue to seek unique sources of sustainable competitive advantage, service quality has been discussed as a potential alternative to traditional skills and sources. The information of customers is generally believed to be a key component in creating corporate responsiveness to customer requests. In order to develop and maintain long-term close relationships with customers, service firms need to build an effective and ongoing service qualify information system(SQIS). Service firms that formally collect customer-related information and internal service quality information were to be more responsive. Accordingly, the purpose of the present study is twofold. 1. How to get the information on the service quality. 2. How to build a SQIS. An analysis is conducted of SQIS into input, process and output staging. One of numerous examples from financial service-sector firms is given to show SQIS can be developed to improve service qualify. Implications and strategies for building an effective SQIS for financial service-sector firms are discussed, and directions for future research are indicated.

One of numerous examples from financial service-sector firms is given to show that SQIS can be developed to improve service quality. This paper investigates SQIS of a Korean commercial bank as an example. Implications and strategies for building an effective SQIS for financial service-sector firms are discussed, and directions for future research are indicated.

  • Over the past three decades, services have become the largest part of most industrialized nations' economies but it is the least-studied part of the economy. One approach is to develop a general theory of service with well-defined questions, tools, methods, and practical implications of society. The purpose of this study was to propose a service systems model to systematically approach a service research. For this purpose, we conducted literature review about business model and extant service systems researches. Based on a literature review, we propose a service systems model that comprises value proposition, participants, shared information/knowledge, organizational capability, value network, and technology. Implications for practice and recommendations for additional research were discussed.

A Study on the Required Features of Social Network Service

  • The study is to investigate which features are perceived by Social Network Service(SNS) users as the most required one to further boost the usage of service, and to examine the perception of these features of SNS sites varies according to their demographic and service usage characteristics. The study also is to suggest a few of research propositions on the relationships between required features of SNS sites and characteristics of SNS users, based on statistical analyses. To accomplish these research purposes, the study defined characteristics of SNS users including demographic(gender, age) and service usage one(start time of service usage, service usage place), and required features of SNS sites(system, service, information, emotion) based on the literature review of SNS. The results show, based on the statistical analyses using survey questionnaire on Korean and Chinese SNS users, that there are differences in perception of required features of SNS sites among the respondents grouped by age, start time of service usage, service usage place. Finally, the study proposed three research propositions, based on the analysis result, that could be used in SNS related researches in the future.

부산지역 파킨슨병 재활서비스의 현황 및 분석 (Current Status and Future of Parkinson's Disease Rehabilitation Service in Busan)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the current and future status of Parkinson's disease rehabilitation service in Busan. Methods: A literature search of domestic journals was conducted using the keywords "Parkinson's", "exercise", "rehabilitation", and "physical therapy". The chosen databases were Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), e-articles, and Korean studies Information Service System (KISS). International literature was searched in PubMed, Pedro, DOI, Publisher, CINAHL (EBSCOhost), and PsycINFO using the same combination of keywords. Results: The results of this study showed that 33 medical institutions provide Parkinson's disease rehabilitation service and five do not. Regarding the composition of Parkinson's disease rehabilitation teams, 15 medical institutions provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy as their rehabilitation program, 15 medical institutions provide physical therapy and occupational therapy, and three provide only physical therapy. The study found that muscle-strengthening, flexibility, endurance, and balance exercises were commonly provided in all 33 medical institutions for Parkinson's disease. Additional exercises were provided in only three medical institutions. The frequency was five times a week in 20 medical institutions. Conclusion: Medical institutions located in Busan provide a variety of Parkinson's disease rehabilitation services, not only in general hospitals but also in multiple medical institutions, although the composition of their Parkinson's disease rehabilitation teams and the frequency of treatment vary.

Customer Service Evaluation based on Online Text Analytics: Sentiment Analysis and Structural Topic Modeling

  • Purpose Social media such as social network services, online forums, and customer reviews have produced a plethora amount of information online. Yet, the information deluge has created both opportunities and challenges at the same time. This research particularly focuses on the challenges in order to discover and track the service defects over time derived by mining publicly available online customer reviews. Design/methodology/approach Synthesizing the streams of research from text analytics, we apply two stages of methods of sentiment analysis and structural topic model incorporating meta-information buried in review texts into the topics. Findings As a result, our study reveals that the research framework effectively leverages textual information to detect, prioritize, and categorize service defects by considering the moving trend over time. Our approach also highlights several implications theoretically and practically of how methods in computational linguistics can offer enriched insights by leveraging the online medium.

국내 디지털 도서관 연구 동향 분석 (An Analysis of the Digital Library Research Trends in Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 디지털 도서관 관련된 연구의 동향을 분석하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 국내 문헌정보학 분야 대표 학술지 4종으로부터 최근 10년(2007년-2016년) 동안 발표된 디지털 도서관 관련 논문 272편을 대상으로 해당 논문의 저자가 직접 부여한 영문키워드 578개를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 NetMiner V.4를 사용하여 연결중심성과 매개중심성을 분석하였다. 연구 결과로는, 첫째, 연구 주제의 양적인 측면에서는 'Academic Library', 'Reference Service', 'Public Library', 'E Resource', 'E Book' 순으로 나타났고, 둘째, 연구 주제의 영향력 측면에서는, 'Academic Library', 'Reference Service', 'Information Behavior', 'E Resource' 등의 순으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구주제의 확장성 측면에서는, 'Academic Library', 'Metadata', 'Information Behavior', 'E Resource', 'Librarian' 등의 순으로 파악되었다.

IT자산과 정보보호 서비스가 정보보호 품질 및 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Approach to the Influence of IT Assets and Information Security Service on Information Security Quality and Satisfaction)

  • In the era of the Internet and ubiquitous computing, IS users are still facing a variety of threats. Therefore, a need of more tightened information security service increases unprecedentedly. In this sense, this study is aimed at proposing a new research model in which IT assets (i.e., network, system, and information influence) and Information Security Service (i.e., confidentiality, integrity, nonrepudiation, authentication) affect information security qualty positively, leading to users' satisfaction eventually To prove the validity of the proposed research model, PLS analysis is applied with valid 177 questionnaires. Results reveal that both IT assets and Information Security Service influence informations security quality positively, and user satisfaction as well. From the results, it can be concluded that Korean government's recent orchestrated efforts to boost the IT assets and Information Security Service helped great improve the information security quality and user satisfaction.

  • The cosmetic medical information mobile platform is evolving into a new channel for searching and obtaining relevant information before using cosmetic medical service. In addition, the medical institutions can facilitate the medical contracts, and take advantage of systemic customer management through the cosmetic medical information mobile platform. Therefore, the paradigm of the cosmetic medical mobile service industry is facing a flow of change through the use diffusion of cosmetic medical information mobile platform. In this study, in order to explore the factors affecting the use diffusion of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform, this study used the research model of the influence of the characteristics of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform on perceived convenience and usefulness, and use diffusion by applying TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). As a result, immediateness, interactivity, and customization in the characteristics of cosmetic medical information mobile platform had positive effects on the perceived convenience. Also, interactivity, customization, and economics had positive impacts on perceived usefulness. In addition, perceived convenience and usefulness had positive effects on the use diffusion. Through this study, the factors influencing the use diffusion of cosmetic medical information mobile platform were actually explored, and the service value of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform were categorized. Future research is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and expansion of the cosmetic medical service market based on various research.
