Evaluating amino acid requirements, specifically threonine requirements, in horses will enable better feed formulation and result in economic production, improved animal health, and reduced environmental pollution. However, the current knowledge of protein and amino acid requirements in horses is still limited. Because horses have a unique digestive system and consume a variety of feed ingredients, their protein digestibility may be affected than other species by different feed composition, and thus amino acid requirements are susceptible to vary between situations. Therefore, a careful evaluation of amino acid requirements with a proper method is needed for various conditions. This review will also provide comprehensive information that needs to be considered when designing an amino acid requirement study in horses.
One of the most important prerequisites for a successful software process is the collaboration and software requirements negotiation of all stakeholders in the software development process. Remote users using computer networks can negotiate software requirements by computer supported system, and can share their informations. The goal of software requirements negotiation system is an integration of all win conditions and an agreement after resolution of conflicts. The existing systems need an exclusive system and must be dependent on specific platform and network. Users must have the knowledge of all stakeholder's status and use homogeneous collaborating applications. This paper presents the Web-based software requirements negotiation system for the purpose of resolution of the existing systems' problems. The Web-based software requirements negotiation system can be driven by WinWin Spiral model, and it is based on hybrid execution method. The proposed system is validated and tested on heterogeneous environments.
Most of systems engineers make a traceability matrix and attach it to their technical documents as a result of systems engineering activities. I have been working in the field of systems engineering for many years and have been watching traceability matrices created by systems engineers or developers from various companies. I have been thinking that some of them are not suitable in terms of purposes of traceability matrix. In this paper, I would like to suggest a right template for the traceability matrix in conformance to traceability purposes. The key is that traceability matrix should be created from higher level of requirements to current level of requirements.
Modern naval ships are large complex systems with the number of requirements ranges from thousands to tens of thousands. To build a quality ship, the satisfaction of the requirements should be traced. In most shipbuilding projects it is almost impossible to manage all the requirements without a proper CASE (computer aided systems engineering) tool. And for effective management of the shipbuilding project, the integrated database for technical data is very important. This paper describes how the requirements are managed, and the integrated database is built in the naval shipbuilding industry in Korea.
Knowledge concerning the nutritional requirements and nutritional problems of fanned deer is limited. Nutritional recommendations must be based on data from domestic ruminants and fanned deer. An understanding of the biology and adaptative characteristics of wild deer is essential for sensible application of sheep and cattle nutritional principles. Nutritional requirements of deer are generally separated into five categories: energy, protein, minerals, vitamins and water. Research on deer nutrition has primarily focused on energy, protein and minerals (phosphorus and calcium). Changes in the nutritional requirements that occur with gestation, lactation, breeding and antler growth should be coordinated with seasonal changes in nutrient availability from forage plants. This paper describes aspects of current knowledge of energy, protein, minerals, vitamins and water requirements. Nutritional problems of. fanned deer are described with recommendations for prevention or control. A comparison of production efficiency of deer, lamb, beef cattle and dairy cattle is included.

In the early stages of a software project, it is critical to understand the needs of the customers and elicit their customer requirements. Various requirements elicitation methods have been proposed. However, existing methods still have the limitations such as a limited number of target customers, limited expression of customers' opinions, and difficulty in collecting the customers' opinions continuously. A novel method for eliciting customer requirements is proposed by utilizing a social network service (SNS), which is a shared source of raw information of the customers' needs and opinions. The proposed method is validated to show its effectiveness in overcoming the limitations of existing methods.
This paper describes the results of applying States and Modes Analysis, one of the requirements analysis techniques, to the development requirements of flight control software for Smart UAV. State/mode table enabled us to investigate various operation and design concepts, and as a result essential requirements for flight control software were established without omitting necessary requirements. Through the use of scenario-specific state transition diagrams, dynamic behaviours and control/response interfaces between each state and mode could been clearly identified, which made it possible to establish requirements related to dynamic behaviours of states and modes which are essential to the design of flight control software.
Development of human-system interfaces (HSI) supporting the interaction between human and automation-based systems, particularly safety-critical sociotechnial systems, entails a wide range of design and evaluation problems. To help HSI designers deal with these problems, many methodologies from traditional human-computer interaction, software engineering, and systems engineering have been applied; however, they have been proved inadequate to develop cognitively well engineered HSI. This paper takes a viewpoint that HSI development is itself a cognitive process consisting of various decision making and problem solving activities and then proposes a design requirements-driven process for developing HSI. High-level design problems and their corresponding design requirements for visual information display are explained to clarify the concept of design requirements. Lastly, conceptual design of software system to support the requirements-driven process and designers' knowledge management is described.
Value-based requirements engineering process, called The ViRE(Value-Innovative Requirement Engineering) was suggested to create an uncontested market using ERRC(Eliminate, Reduce, Raise, Create) requirements analysis. But ViRE did not provides a quantitative data analysis method for ERRC decision so as to make objective decisions for customers. In this paper, to solve this problem, we suggest a quantitative ERRC analysis method by estimating requirements cost. Our method defines user requirements and decides their weight. Then, it makes quality level table for all the identified requirements and function modules and estimate implementation cost based on their quality levels. Finally, assess each requirement's impact and then evaluate ERRC value. We could get the more objective ERRC values by evaluate the requirement weight. functional module weight, and implementation cost. And we proved the efficiency of our model by a case study, smart student ID system.
