안전장치 없는 시즈히터에 대한 사용중 발화 가능성 연구(화재사례를 중심으로) (The Study of the Fire Possibility of Sheath Heater without Safety Device in Use(Focused on the fire cases))

  • 본 연구는 소규모 작업장내 화재사건 중 발생 빈도가 높은 부분에 속하는 유형인 안전장치 없는 시즈히터(sheath heater)의 사용중 발생하는 화재사례에 대한 현장 조사에서 필요한 감정 감식 상의 특이점을 알아보기 위해 사례를 바탕으로한 발화 가능 조건을 A, B, C, D로 분류하여 실험을 수행 검토한 바, 안전장치가 없는 시즈히터는 사용중 축열조건으로 방치할 경우 급격히 온도가 상승하여 주변가연물에 착화되었으며, 그러한 경우 전원선에서 단락흔의 발견이 없는 경우라도 히터 발열부에 변색흔 등이 관찰되는 특징점을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 사이버 교육은 디지털 시대에 사회 전 분야에 걸쳐서 진행되고 있는 지식 축적 속도의 가속화에 따른 재교육과 평생교육의 수요를 효과적으로 수용할 수 있다는 점에서 앞으로 수요자 중심의 새로운 교육방법으로서 21세기 주요 교육체제로 정착될 전망이다. 그러나 상호 작용을 제대로 하기 위한 인력 부족 등으로 인한 피드백의 지연, 읽기와 쓰기 위주의 수업환경으로 인한 특정학생에게 불리한 방식, 그리고 컴퓨터 기술에 기반을 두고 있어 관련 기술이 부족한 학생에게 불리한 점 등 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 최근 대학 교육 패러다임의 전환 요구와 함께 사이버교육이 급격하게 요구받고 있는 실정에서 사이버 교육에서 학습자의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석해 보고, 대학 사이버 교육의 개선방향을 제시해 보고자 하였다.

인공지능 수학교육과정의 모듈화 접근방법 연구 (A Modular Based Approach on the Development of AI Math Curriculum Model)

  • Although the mathematics education process in AI education is a very important issue, little cases are reported in developing effective methods on AI and mathematics education at the university level. The universities cover all fields of mathematics in their curriculums, but they lack in connecting and applying the math knowledge to AI in an efficient manner. Students are hardly interested in taking many math courses and it gets worse for the students in humanities, social sciences and arts. But university education is very slow in adapting to rapidly changing new technologies in the real world. AI is a technology that is changing the paradigm of the century, so every one should be familiar with this technology but it requires fundamental math knowledge. It is not fair for the students to study all math subjects and ride on the AI train. We recognize that three key elements, SW knowledge, mathematical knowledge, and domain knowledge, are required in applying AI technology to the real world problems. This study proposes a modular approach of studying mathematics knowledge while connecting the math to different domain problems using AI techniques. We also show a modular curriculum that is developed for using math for AI-driven autonomous driving.

학습자 중심 교육을 위한 플립러닝에서의 학습 구동력에 관한 연구 (A Study on Learning Driving Force of Flipped Learning for Learner Centered Education)

  • 효과적인 학습자 중심 교육을 위해서는 학습자가 학습 과정에서 학습에 몰입, 집중하여 학습에 적극적으로 참여하고 학습을 진행해 나가는 힘이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 이를 학습 구동력이라고 정의하고 4가지 구성 요소(흥미도, 역동성, 자기효능감, 학업성취에 대한 기대감)를 제시하였다. 학습 구동력 정의의 타당성, 구성 요소 도출의 적정성을 검증하기 위해 플립러닝을 다년간 체계적으로 적용해 온 K대학교의 플립러닝 수업 설계 및 운영 체계를 제시하였고, 그 체계에서 도출된 플립러닝 강좌 운영 결과 및 교수자 의견을 검토, 분석하였다. 그리고 학습 구동력을 고려한 플립러닝 수업 설계를 위한 교수설계 지침을 제시하였다.

Establishing and Designing the Financial System for the Research Program of the Deanship of Scientific Research at Northern Border University

  • The study aimed to realize one of the basic requirements for designing and building the integrated automated system for scientific research at Northern Border University, which includes the establishment of an automated interconnected system to manage all academic and financial operations of scientific research. From receiving the budget of the funded research courses, then the regular financial regulation of all the research team's rewards, the cost of publishing, translation and equipment, then receiving the research plans and linking them financially, preparing the total and detailed financial value for all stages, then financial disbursement operations, financial closure of research when published, and preparing financial reports The research team used the analytical approach to build the main and subsidiary requirements for designing the financial system, and the study concluded that all the elements required for the stages of financial management for scientific research at Northern Border University can be met based on sufficient by sequencing these processes and how they are sequenced as e It is designed in the research study.

부산 청년을 대상으로 다문화리터러시 프로그램 개발 및 교육을 통한 만족도 조사 (Satisfaction Survey Through Multicultural Literacy Program Development and Education for Busan Youth)

  • This study describes a multicultural literacy program that can nurture multicultural people who can live in a multicultural society. A total of 10 20-hour programs were conducted for 22 youths in Busan. Through this, the current perception and acceptance of multiculturalism among young people in Busan was investigated, and a curriculum suitable for multicultural awareness, multicultural acceptance, and multicultural competency enhancement was constructed. In accordance with the goal of strengthening the multicultural competency required for multicultural activists through education, learners can exchange opinions through the activity sheet, so that learners can know the difference between themselves and others. Students could learn about each other's culture and values through cultural exchange with others, and through teachers with diverse cultures, they could learn various perspectives and cultures about culture and values. Through the results of the multicultural literacy program, I would like to suggest three methods of multicultural literacy education to strengthen multicultural competence in a multicultural society. Therefore, efforts should be made to develop various multicultural education courses to strengthen the multicultural capabilities of Koreans.

Effects of Voluntary Tutoring and Mandatory Tutoring on Academic Performance

  • Purpose: Providing tutoring services may be one of the most effective practices for improving academic performance and student retention. However, there is little information on the difference between mandatory tutoring (MT) and voluntary tutoring (VT) on the impact of student academic performance. This investigation compared the effectiveness of VT and MT services in the three upper level undergraduate classes. Research design, data, and methodology: Baseline data were collected in a spring semester where no tutoring of any kind was offered (control group (CG), n=78). The MT (n=104) was required in the following fall semester, and in the next spring semester only VT (n=97) was offered. Descriptive statistics and One-way ANOVA using IBM SPSS v23 (Chicago, IL) were used to analyze the final grades of the courses to identify differences in final grades between semesters. Results: Although final grades averaged from three classes were highest in the MT group, there were no statistical differences between the MT and VT groups, F(2, 292) = 1.150, p =.318. Conclusion: This study indicates there was no significant difference in academic performance between the two tutoring types, but that both tutoring services can be effective.

Analysis of procedural performance after a pilot course on endovascular training for resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta

  • Purpose: As resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta (REBOA) is performed in an extremely emergent situation, achieving competent clinical practice is mandatory. Although there are several educational courses that teach the REBOA procedure, there have been no reports evaluating the impact of training on clinical practice. Therefore, this study is aimed to evaluate the effects of the course on procedural performance during resuscitation and on clinical outcomes. Methods: Patients who were managed at a regional trauma center in Dankook University Hospital from August 2016 to February 2018 were included and were grouped as precourse (August 2016-August 2017, n=9) and postcourse (September 2017- February 2018, n=9). Variables regarding injury, parameters regarding REBOA procedure, morbidity, and mortality were prospectively collected and reviewed for comparison between the groups. Results: Demographics and REBOA variables did not differ between groups. The time required from arterial puncture to balloon inflation was significantly shortened from 9.0 to 5.0 minutes (P=0.003). There were no complications associated with REBOA after the course. Mortality did not show any statistical difference before and after the course. Conclusions: The endovascular training for REBOA pilot course, which uses a modified form of flipped learning, realistic simulation of ultrasound-guided catheter insertion and balloon manipulation, and competence assessment, significantly improved procedural performance during resuscitation of trauma patients.

Investigating the reassessment opportunity for prospective teachers within their initial required content course

  • In K-12 education, reassessment is a common practice, providing students with opportunities to enhance their understanding through low-stakes assignments. However, reassessment is underutilized in higher education, including during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our study advocates for expanding the use of reassessment in university settings to promote holistic learning and focus on what shifts of change were made by students in an initial mathematics content course as they sought to gain licensure for teaching in a birth (daycare/pre-K setting) to eighth-grade classrooms. Our study took place during COVID-19 semesters and aimed to examine how using a reassessment approach early on in a gateway course for Prospective Teachers (PTs) affected the pass rate of the course. Results showed significant differences between the PTs who engaged with the test recovery and those who did not. We propose recovery opportunities like ours provide the necessary guidance to support early degree necessary classes that are typically gatekeeping and, as another, likely cause too few students within the courses because they were able to advance into the teacher pipeline and out into the field. Future studies may consider how the reassessment could be done more before the official summative assessment of a unit or chapter to continue the shifts in teaching practices and pedagogy that are constant within the K-12 education systems at the university level.

정보보호 산업분야 신규 인력 양성을 위한 NCS 기반 교육과정 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the NCS based Curriculum for Educating Information Security Manpower)

  • 정보보호 산업 분야에서도 신규 인력의 양성과 재직자의 지속적인 직무능력 향상을 위해 국가직무능력표준(NCS : National Competency Standards)의 도입이 필요하다. 특히 정보보호 전문 인력의 효율적 운영을 위해 신규 인력 양성을 위한 NCS 교육과정의 도입은 중요하다. 그러나 현행 NCS는 정보보호 산업분야에 대한 세분류가 명확히 제시 되지 않아 교육훈련 기관에서 교육과정으로 도입하는데 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 직무별 인력유형에 따라 교육과정에 도입 가능한 능력단위를 선정하였다. 능력단위 선정을 위해 우선 선행 연구들에서 제시한 필요 지식 및 기술을 고려하였고, 추가적으로 공공기관, 공기업 및 일반 기업에서 시행하고 있는 NCS 기반 채용 기준을 포함하였다. 선정된 능력단위는 직무의 중요도, 교육의 필요도에 따라 필수 능력단위와 선택 능력단위로 구분 하였고, NCS 정보통신(SW) 분야의 신 자격 경력 경로 모형에 적합한지에 대한 검증을 하였고, 최종적으로 정보보호 산업분야 신규 인력양성을 위한 NCS 교육과정 설계에 필요한 능력단위와 교과목을 제안하였다.
