Hill-Sachs lesion is the most common lesion in shoulder dislocation patient and it represented by postero-lateral bony defect of humerus. The lesion could be found in patients who dislocate shoulder joint first time, and it is reported that Hill-Sachs lesion proportionally increases as dislocation does. The location and presence of Hill-Sachs lesion play significant roles in shoulder instability. Authors experienced a double Hill-Sachs lesion in a recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation patient, and thereby report the case with a review of the literature.
Spatio-temporal join operators are essential to the management of spatio-temporal data such as moving objects. For example, the join operators are parts of processing to analyze movement of objects and search similar patterns of moving objects. Various studies on spatio-temporal join queries in outdoor space have been done. Recently with advance of indoor positioning techniques, location based services are required in indoor space as well as outdoor space. Nevertheless there is no one about processing of spatio-temporal join query in indoor space. In this paper, we introduce continuous spatio-temporal self-join queries in indoor space and propose a method of processing of the join queries over stream data of moving objects. The continuous spatio-temporal self-join query is to update the joined result set satisfying spatio-temporal predicates continuously. We assume that positions of moving objects are represented by symbols such as a room or corridor. This paper proposes a data structure, called Candidate Pairs Buffer, to filter and maintain massive stream data efficiently and we also investigate performance of proposed method in experimental study.

Detection of anomalous events from video streams is a challenging problem in many video surveillance applications. One such application that has received significant attention from the computer vision community is traffic video surveillance. In this paper, a Lossy Count based Sequential Temporal Pattern mining approach (LC-STP) is proposed for detecting spatio-temporal abnormal events (such as a traffic violation at junction) from sequences of video streams. The proposed approach relies mainly on spatial abstractions of each object, mining frequent temporal patterns in a sequence of video frames to form a regular temporal pattern. In order to detect each object in every frame, the input video is first pre-processed by applying Gaussian Mixture Models. After the detection of foreground objects, the tracking is carried out using block motion estimation by the three-step search method. The primitive events of the object are represented by assigning spatial and temporal symbols corresponding to their location and time information. These primitive events are analyzed to form a temporal pattern in a sequence of video frames, representing temporal relation between various object's primitive events. This is repeated for each window of sequences, and the support for temporal sequence is obtained based on LC-STP to discover regular patterns of normal events. Events deviating from these patterns are identified as anomalies. Unlike the traditional frequent item set mining methods, the proposed method generates maximal frequent patterns without candidate generation. Furthermore, experimental results show that the proposed method performs well and can detect video anomalies in real traffic video data.
We sequenced 1,841 BAC clones by terminal sequencing, and 1,830 of these clones were characterized with regard to their human chromosomal location and gene content using Korean BAC library constructed at the Korean Science (KCGS). Sequence analyses of the 1,830 BAC clones was performed for chromosomal assignment: 1,144 clones were assigned to a single chromosome, 190 clones apparently assigned to more than one chromosome, and 496 clones to no chromosome. Evaluating gene content of the 1,144 BAC clones, we found that 706 clones represented 1,069 genes of which 415 genes existed in the BAC clones covering the full sequence of the gene, 180 genes covering a $50%{\sim}99%$, and 474 genes covering less than 50% of the gene coverage. The estimated covering size of the KBAC clones was 73,379 kilobases (kb), in total corresponding to 2.3% of haploid human genome sequence. The identified BAC clones will be a public genomic resource for mapped clones for diagnostic and functional studies by Korean scientists and investigators worldwide.

The nonlinear seismic responses of steel buildings with perimeter moment resisting frames (PMRF) and interior gravity frames (IGF) are estimated, modeling the interior connections first as perfectly pinned (PPC), and then as partially restrained (PRC). Two 3D steel building models, twenty strong motions and three levels of the PRC rigidity, which are represented by the Richard Model and the Beam Line Theory, are considered. The RUAUMOKO Computer Program is used for the required time history nonlinear dynamic analysis. The responses can be significantly reduced when interior connections are considered as PRC, confirming what observed in experimental investigations. The reduction significantly varies with the strong motion, story, model, structural deformation, response parameter, and location of the structural element. The reduction is larger for global than for local response parameters; average reductions larger than 30% are observed for shears and displacements while they are about 20% for bending moments. The reduction is much larger for medium- than for low-rise buildings indicating a considerable influence of the structural complexity. It can be concluded that, the effect of the dissipated energy at PRC should not be neglected. Even for connections with relative small stiffness, which are usually idealized as PPC, the reduction can be significant. Thus, PRC can be used at IGF of steel buildings with PMRF to get more economical construction, to reduce the seismic response and to make steel building more seismic load tolerant. Much more research is needed to consider other aspects of the problem to reach more general conclusions.
Left ventricular wall motion was observed with EKG gated cardiac blood pool scan in 71 various cardiac diseases and 10 normal controls to evaluate its diagnostic and clinical significance in them. 1) In the presence of left ventricular dysfunction, visual evaluation of the left ventricular wall motion was useful to determine whether it was due to localized or diffuse abnormalities. In cardiomyopathy, marked left ventricular dilatation and severe hypokinesia were noted. 2) In myocardial infarction, regional wall motion abnormalities well represented the location of infarcted areas in majority of cases. Patients with inferior wall infarction had smaller decrease of the left ventricular ejection fraction and wall motion grade than anterior or combined groups. In whom persistent left ventricular failure was present, wall motion analysis with gated cardiac scan provided valuable information for the detection of ventricular aneurysms. 3) Evaluation of the left ventricular wall motion and its grading provided a reliable estimate of the left ventricular function. In conclusion, visual evaluation of left ventricular wall motion and its grading provided valuable information for analyzing the characteristics of regional and global left ventricular dysfunction.
The effects of the number of Hangul syllable, the nunber/location of batchim in a Hangul word, and compound/noncompound Hangul word on memory span were examined. The results were that (1) the more syllables a word had, the lower us memory span was, (2) the more batchims a two-syllable word had, the lower its memory span was (Korean batchim effect on memory span), (3) noncompound word had higher memory span than compound word. The reading speed of above mentioned words was measured and the results were that (1) the more syllables a word had, the slower its reading speed was, (2) but the reading speed of a two-syllable word was forest when it had a batchim on second syllable than when it had no batchim or had a batchim on first syllable or batchims on both syllables (Korean ending batchim effect on reading speed), (3) noncompound word was read faster thu compound word. Korean ending batchim effect on reading speed was not compatible with the explanation by articulatory loop bur compatible with the explanation by visual cache where the orthographic information was represented. The results suggest that memory span was influenced nor only by phonological information but also by orthographic information.
Generally, the Internet Address Resources Act is intended to protect the public from acts of Internet "cybersquatting", a term used to describe the bad faith, abusive registration of Internet domain names. In determining whether a person has a bad faith intent, a court may consider factors such as, (1) the trademark or other intellectual property rights of the person, if any, in the domain name, (2) the extent to which the domain name consists of the legal name of the person or a name that is otherwise commonly used to identify that person, (3) the person's prior use, if any, of the domain name in connection with the bona fide offering of any goods or services, (4) the person's bona fide noncommercial or fair use of the mark in a site accessible under the domain name, (5) the person's intent to divert consumers from the mark owner's online location to a site accessible under the domain name that could harm the goodwill represented by the mark, either for commercial gain or with the intent to tarnish or disparage the mark, by creating a likelihood of confusion as to the source, sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of the site, (6) the person's offer to transfer, sell, or otherwise assign the domain name to the mark owner or any third party for financial gain without having used, or having an intent to use, the domain name in the bona fide offering of any goods or services, or the person's prior conduct indicating a pattern of such conduct.
Context-aware is the core in ubiquitous environment of sensor network to support intelligent and contextual adaptation service. The new context information model is demanded to support context-aware applications. The model should not depend on a specified application and be shareable between applications in the same environment. Also, it should support various context representation and complex context-aware. In this paper, we define the context information according to context-aware process. Also we design the knowledge of domain as well as applications using ontologies and rules. The domain spatial ontology and application knowledge are represented using the spatial object model and the rules of expanded ontologies, respectively. The expression of abundant spatial ontology represents the context information about distance between objects and adjacent object as well as the location of the object. The proposed context information model which is able to exhibit various spatial context and recognizes complex spatial context through the existing GIS. This model shows that it can adapt to a large scale outdoor context-aware applications such as air pollution and prevention of disasters as well as various context-aware applications.

The current advancement of mobile devices enables users to collect a sequence of user positions by use of the positioning technology and thus the related research regarding positioning or location information are quite arising. An individual mobility model based on positioning data and time data are already established while group mobility model is not done yet. In this research, group mobility model, an extension of individual mobility model, and the process of establishment of group mobility model will be studied. Based on the previous research of group mobility model from two individual mobility model, a group mobility model with more than two individual model has been established and the transition pattern of the model is represented by Markov chain. In consideration of real application, the computing time to establish group mobility mode from huge positioning data has been drastically improved by use of GPGPU comparing to the use of traditional multicore systems.
