The objective of this study is to propose methods for determining optimal representative value and the optimal size of historical data for reliable travel time forecasting. We selected values with the smallest mean of forecasting errors as the optimal representative value of travel time pattern data. The optimal size of historical data used was determined using the CVMSE(Cross Validated Mean Square Error) method. According to the results of applying the methods to point vehicle detection data of Korea Highway Corporation, the optimal representative value were analyzed to be median. Second, it was analyzed that 60 days' data is the optimal size of historical data usedfor travel time forecasting.

As the needs of library users change diversely along with the rapid developments and changes in society, libraries have gone beyond the traditional role of providing, gathering, organizing and preserving materials and information to provide various program services in culture, interests, and practicality that accommodate cultural and educational needs. Public libraries, in particular, are reflecting their role as the representative educational and cultural institutions of the community and following social changes to expand the role of libraries and manage various programs. This study aims to vitalize adult-targeted programs in representative Seoul libraries by understanding the current situation of the aforementioned programs through the past five years, and ran a survey on the satisfaction levels of those who are in charge of the programs and those who utilize the programs. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively analyze the improvements needed for running the programs and the demands of users in order to propose ways to activate library programs for adults.

The newly developed analysis method for nanoindentation load-displacement curves are focused on not only obtaining elastic modulus and hardness values but also other mechanical properties, such as yield strength and strain hardening properties. Dao et al. developed a forward and reverse algorithm to extract the elasto-plastic properties of materials from the load-displacement curves obtained in nanoindentation test. These algorithms were only applicable for engineering metals (Poisson#s ratio 0.3) using the equivalent conical indenter of the Berkovich. However, the applicable metals are substantially limited because range of used in the finite element analysis is narrow. This study is designed to expand range of the applicable metals in the reverse algorithms established by Dao et al. and to improve the accuracy of that for extracting the elasto-plastic properties of materials. In this study, a representative strain was assumed to vary according to specific range of $E^*/{\sigma}_r$ and was defined as function of $E^*/{\sigma}_r$. Also, an initial unloading slope in reverse algorithms improved in this study was not considered as independent parameters of the load-displacement curves. The mechanical properties of materials for finite element analysis were modeled with the elastic modulus, E, the yield strength, ${\sigma}_y$, and the strain hardening exponents, n. We showed that the representative strain (0.033) suggested by Dao et al. was no longer applicable above the $E^*/{\sigma}_r$ of 400 and depended on values of $E^*/{\sigma}_r$. From these results, we constructed the dimensionless functions, in where the initial unloading slope was not included, for engineering metals up to $E^*/{\sigma}_r$ of 1500. These functions allow us to determine the mechanical properties with greater accuracy than Dao#s study.

In the past, prism patterns have been linear triangular shapeswith a $90^{\circ}$ angle; however, new micro prism patterns having acute angles or obtuse angles have recently been the subject of demandin the display, lighting and photovoltaic industries. Micro-cutting experiments for micro-prism patterns having $60^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, and $120^{\circ}$ angles on an electroplated Ni mold were performed and it was found in this study that the specific cutting resistance increased with a decrease in the tool angles (prism pattern angles). The cause of this variation had been thought to be the increase of the ploughing force due to tip rounding and the friction force due to the edge effect. However, the depth of the cut was large enough that it was possible to neglect these effects. Therefore, this study introduced the concept of representative stress of indentation. The measured stress was varied according to the indentation depth eventhoughthetestedspecimenswereidentical ; the varied stress was termed the representative stress. According to indentation theory, the strain that the Ni mold experienced increased with a decrease in the tool angle. Based on the stress-strain relationship, higher strain means higher stress and higher specific cutting resistance. Therefore, the specific cutting resistance was higher at smaller tool angles that had higher strain and stress.
The purpose of this study is to classify body types into different groups based on 3D scanned data, and identify the representative body shapes that most frequently appear in the groups. A high frequency range was defined based on body measurement data, and representative shapes were identified based on body scan data of women aged 18-24. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, the three typical types of height, bust and drop mixes among Korean women aged 18-24 are as follows:) 155-88-N,) 160-82-A, and 165-85-A. Regarding the body type, the A and N types frequently appeared, while the H type was rare. Second, among the subjects of the high-frequency groups, upright bodies were selected as sample models and were used for morphing. An adjustment was made to the morphing results to reflect the body characteristics of the sample models evenly. Third, to verify the morphing results, the body sizes of the sample models and the created models were compared. The result showed that, the sizes were close to the average size of the sample models. Fourth, to verify whether the morphing processes adequately reflected the features of the body shapes, cross-section models of key body parts were made and the degree of representativeness was determined.
The medical treatment is process of collecting symptoms, making a diagnosis and treatment for the diagnosis. The remedy and the efficacy are the important hinge that links the diagnosis to the means of medical treatment. Lots of medical data are stored on database or saved as files in these days. The preferential way to find the efficacy related to the remedy is search all efficacy terms match up to the remedy term. To increase the rate of matching remedy terms with efficacy terms, we study the relation between efficacy terms and remedy terms and research the conversion way of the terms into the representative terms. The rate of matching the raw remedy terms with the raw efficacy terms is below 30%. The rate of matching the disaggregate remedy terms with the disaggregate efficacy terms is about 50%. The rate of matching the representative remedy terms with the representative efficacy terms is almost 70%.

The purpose of this study is to generate the local level knowledge structure of a single document, similar to end-of-the-book indexes and table of contents of printed material through the use of term clustering and cluster representative term selection. Furthermore, it aims to analyze the functionalities of the knowledge structure. and to confirm the applicability of these methods in user-friend1y information services. The results of the term clustering experiment showed that the performance of the Ward's method was superior to that of the fuzzy K -means clustering method. In the cluster representative term selection experiment, using the highest passage frequency term as the representative yielded the best performance. Finally, the result of user task-based functionality tests illustrate that the automatically generated knowledge structure in this study functions similarly to the local level knowledge structure presented In printed material.
Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze the salinity of representative Korean foods high in sodium to generate data for use as a fundamental resource for setting salinity standards in foods. Methods: A total of 480 foods from 16 representative Korean foods high in sodium were collected from 10 households, 10 industry foodservice establishments, and 10 Korean restaurants in four regions (Capital area, Chungcheong Province, Gyeongsang Province, and Jeolla Province) and analyzed for salinity. Results: Among the foods, stir-fried anchovies (4.07~4.45%) showed the highest salinity, followed by pickled onion (1.86~2.62%), cabbage kimchi (1.83~2.2%), braised burdock and lotus root (1.79~2.17%), and sliced radish kimchi (1.78~1.89%) (p<0.001). The salinity of kimchi from home meals (2.2%) was significantly higher than that of foodservice (1.83%) and restaurant (1.93%) kimchi (p<0.05). Salinity in each group of food was highest in kimchi (1.83~2.04%), followed by braised dishes (1.54~1.78%), steamed dishes (1.0~1.22%), stir-fried dishes (1.02~1.18%), and soup or stew (0.74~1.02%) (p<0.001). The salinity of soup and stew from restaurants (1.02%) was significantly higher than that of home meal (0.84%) and foodservice (0.74%) soup and stew. Conclusions: Determination of the salinity of representative Korean foods known to be high in sodium by eating place is expected to be useful to establishing guidelines for reduction of salinity.
In the virtual fitting system, the use of a 3D avatar is not a simple garment model, but it should be able to reproduce the size and shape of the customer using a fitting system. Although various virtual fitting systems have their own 3D avatar sizing systems and provide 3D avatars that match the size of the customer, there are limitations in realizing the actual body shape in actual use by the consumer. The purpose of this study is to realize a 3D avatar with excellent size and conformity for customer use. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data for the formation of a 3D standard avatar of Korean women aged in their 20's, by comparing and analyzing the degree of the consumer user friendly system change of a body type, and the consumer's ability in selecting a consumer representative body type. Based on the survey data of 'Size Korea' conducted from 2004 to 2015 at three times, we examined the change of body shape over 10 years. Then, based on the results of 6th and 7th data, 4 factors of the concurrent body shape change of women of the consumer demographic studied were selected through the use of a factor analysis. Following this analysis, the 4 extracted factors were clustered again and finally released 7 representative body types, which were obtained based on height and weight. The size of each representative figure is derived by the use of a regression analysis, and it is used as a basic data for 3D avatar formation of the virtual fitting system.
One of the causes of many damage cases that occur today by hacking attack is social engineering attack. The attacker is usually a malicious traitor or an ignorant insider. As a solution, we are strengthening security training for all employees in the organization. Nevertheless, there are frequent situations in which computers are shared. In this case, the person in charge of the computer has difficulty in tracking and responding when a specific representative accessed and what a specific representative did. In this paper, we propose the method that the person in charge of the computer tracks in real time through the smartphone when a representative access the computer, when a representative access offline using hacked or shared authentication. Also, we propose a method to prevent the leakage of important information by encrypting and backing up important files of the PC through the smartphone in case of abnormal access.
