  • Cervical pain is a rapid increase that is owing to a flexion-extension whiplash injury, unappropriated posture, chronical repetition injury from abdominal position of head and neck, excessive repeating work, chronical deficiency of excercise. Because of that is bring about muscle unbalance, tightness of cervical extensor muscle, weakness of cervical deep flexor muscles, instability of cervical region and reduction of proprioceptive sensor. Recent the role of muscle is more emphasized for preservation of sine stabilization. And cognition of integrated muscular system, importance for the operation and relation is increased to maintain stability of the motor system and pertinent function. Therefore we are going to introduce the sling exercise and stabilization exercise method for advanced efficient of cervical and upper limb and for the muscle strengthening to importance cervical stabilization through neurological program as control the reaction of cervical stabilization. Sling exercise therapy(SET) concept consists of a system of diagnosis and treatment. The system of diagnosis involves testing the muscle's tolerance through progressive loading in open and close kinetic chains. The SET system contains elements such as relaxation, increasing the range of movement, traction, training the stabilizing musculature, sensory-motor exercises, training in open and close kinetic chains, dynamic training of the mobilizing musculature, cardiovascular exercise, group exercise, personal exercise at home Sensory-motor training is an essential element of the SET concept. The emphasis is on closed kinetic chain exercise on an unstable surface, there by achieving optimum stimulation of the sensory-motor apparatus.

나노스케일 3 차원 프린팅 시스템을 위한 정렬 알고리즘 (Alignment Algorithm for Nano-scale Three-dimensional Printing System)

  • Hybrid manufacturing technology has been advanced to overcome limitations due to traditional fabrication methods. To fabricate a micro/nano-scale structure, various manufacturing technologies such as lithography and etching were attempted. Since these manufacturing processes are limited by their materials, temperature and features, it is necessary to develop a new three-dimensional (3D) printing method. A novel nano-scale 3D printing system was developed consisting of the Nano-Particle Deposition System (NPDS) and the Focused Ion Beam (FIB) to overcome these limitations. By repeating deposition and machining processes, it was possible to fabricate micro/nano-scale 3D structures with various metals and ceramics. Since each process works in different chambers, a transfer process is required. In this research, nanoscale 3D printing system was briefly explained and an alignment algorithm for nano-scale 3D printing system was developed. Implementing the algorithm leads to an accepted error margin of 0.5% by compensating error in rotational, horizontal, and vertical axes.

  • 하나의 프레스로 여러 종류의 부품을 소량으로 생산하는 중 소형 공장에서는 부품 생산 과정에 발생하는 소리가 다양하게 나타난다. 이에 우리는 제품의 생산 순간의 소리를 인식하여 제품의 양 불량을 판별하는 시스템을 계층형 시간적 메모리(HTM Hierarchical Temporal Memory) 기술을 이용하여 개발하였다. HTM 이론은 인간 두뇌의 신피질(neocortex)의 동작 원리를 컴퓨터에 접목시킨 이론이다. 이는 실세계에 대한 시공간적인 패턴을 계층적으로 기억하는 것으로 기존의 인식 기술보다 여러 경우에 인식률이 뛰어난 것으로 알려져 있다. 우리는 이 HTM 기술을 소리 인식에 적용하여 부품에 대한 양 불량 판별 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발 결과를 검증하기 위해 실제 공장에서 부품 생산 순간의 다양한 소리들을 녹음하고, 소리 HTM 네트워크를 구성한 후, 학습과 훈련을 반복하여 해당 부품의 불량여부를 판정하도록 하였다. 그 결과 잡음이 많은 생산 현장에서도 판정의 정확도가 높은 것으로 확인하였다.

건설자재 통합정보 관리를 위한 시스템 모델 구현 (Development of System Model for Integrated Information Management of Construction Material)

  • 최근 건설 분야의 정보화 기술이 발달함에 따라 건설업무의 생산성 향상과 비용 절감을 위한 다양한 건설자재 정보 서비스 차원의 web 기반 온라인 시스템이 급증하는 추세이다. 그러나 이러한 시스템들이 제공 중인 품질 및 규격등 건설자재정보가 표준화되지 못하여 특정자재의 정보획득시 여러 정보시스템을 이용하거나 유사한 작업을 반복하는등 건설현장 실무자들의 자재정보 활용에 있어 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국제 데이터 상품 속성 시스템(GDAS, Global Data Alignment System)을 기준으로 건설자재 정보항목을 정형화하고 건설자재 통합정보 관리를 위한 시스템 모델을 설계하였다. 본 시스템은 건설공정별 국제 표준분류체계(OmniClass Part-22)와 유엔 표준 제품 및 서비스 분류체계(UNSPSC, United Nations Standard Products and Services Classification)를 적용한 건설 자재의 자동 분류, 자재정보의 조건별 복합검색, 전자카탈로그의 실시간 자동구현, RFID 검색 및 관리 기능을 지원함으로써 자재정보의 효율적인 관리 및 활용이 가능하다.

A Structure and Framework for Sign Language Interaction

  • Objective: The goal of this thesis is to design the interaction structure and framework of system to recognize sign language. Background: The sign language of meaningful individual gestures is combined to construct a sentence, so it is difficult to interpret and recognize the meaning of hand gesture for system, because of the sequence of continuous gestures. This being so, in order to interpret the meaning of individual gesture correctly, the interaction structure and framework are needed so that they can segment the indication of individual gesture. Method: We analyze 700 sign language words to structuralize the sign language gesture interaction. First of all, we analyze the transformational patterns of the hand gesture. Second, we analyze the movement of the transformational patterns of the hand gesture. Third, we analyze the type of other gestures except hands. Based on this, we design a framework for sign language interaction. Results: We elicited 8 patterns of hand gesture on the basis of the fact on whether the gesture has a change from starting point to ending point. And then, we analyzed the hand movement based on 3 elements: patterns of movement, direction, and whether hand movement is repeating or not. Moreover, we defined 11 movements of other gestures except hands and classified 8 types of interaction. The framework for sign language interaction, which was designed based on this mentioned above, applies to more than 700 individual gestures of the sign language, and can be classified as an individual gesture in spite of situation which has continuous gestures. Conclusion: This study has structuralized in 3 aspects defined to analyze the transformational patterns of the starting point and the ending point of hand shape, hand movement, and other gestures except hands for sign language interaction. Based on this, we designed the framework that can recognize the individual gestures and interpret the meaning more accurately, when meaningful individual gesture is input sequence of continuous gestures. Application: When we develop the system of sign language recognition, we can apply interaction framework to it. Structuralized gesture can be used for using database of sign language, inventing an automatic recognition system, and studying on the action gestures in other areas.

대형 보일러 와이어로프 노내비계 및 인양시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Wire-rope Type Furnace Scaffolding and Its Lifting System for Large-sized Boiler)

  • 대형 석탄 화력발전소의 보일러는 안정적인 전력량 수급을 위하여, 계속적인 운전 혹은 기동 정지가 반복하면서 운전 되는 등 매우 열악한 상태에서 운전되고 있기 때문에 신뢰성을 유지하기 위한 주기적 점검과 정비는 필수적이다. 정비를 위한 기존의 비계시스템은 모든 하중이 하부로 집중되어 일부 부재에 문제 발생시 연쇄적으로 비계 시스템이 붕괴되는 문제점이 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 새로운 노내비계를 개발하여 상부에서 하중을 분산시키고, 일부 부재에 문제가 발생하더라도 연쇄 붕괴의 위험을 최소화하였다. 또한, 보일러 튜브의 구조로 인하여 직접적인 설치가 어려운 경우 노내비계의 설치를 위한 인양시스템을 개발하여 노내비계의 구조적인 안정성을 향상시키고 비계 작업자의 안전성을 확보하여 발전설비의 건전성을 확보할 수 있었다.

크로마토그래피 담체의 수멍을 검증하기 위한 자동화 미니 크로마토그래피 시스템 개발 (Development of Miniaturized Automatic Chromatography System for validation Study of Chromatographic Resin lifetime)

  • 크로마토그래피 공정 성능 검증의 한 항목인 담체의 수명 검증을 위해 자동화된 미니 크로마토그래피 시스템(MiniValChrom)을 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 크로마토그래피공정의 자동화된 반복수행, 크로마토그래피 각 step의 작동순서 및 공정조건의 자유로운 구성, on-line 실시간 모니터링 및 제어, 여러 담체 수명 검증법의 method file 저장기능 등을 갖추었다. MiniValChrom을 사용하여 BSA와 Cibacron Blue 3G-A를 각각 모델 단백질과 담체로 담체 수명 검증실험을 사례연구로 수행하였다. 담체 수명의 감소는 크로마토그래피 공정을 반복수행하면서 5 cycle 마다 변화하는 HETP값을 측정하여 HETP 값이 1 cm 이상 될 때까지 반복 수행함으로써 담체 수명을 결정할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 MiniValChrom은 다른 검증 항목이나 multi-product 생산공장 내 크로마토그래피 공정 검증에도 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

중견기업 경영혁신 촉진을 위한 진단모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Diagnostic Model for Promotion of Management Innovation of Medium Enterprises)

  • This study designed a "Diagnostic Model for Management Innovation of Medium Enterprises" based on the theoretical background of success factor and management diagnosis model for management innovation of medium enterprises and suggested a measure for utilization of strategic subject and diagnostic model that enterprises can apply. Utilization of medium enterprises management innovation diagnostic model designed through this study would be of help for making a diagnosis of the capability maturity level of enterprises' current management system and improving it by establishing a challenging capability objective and building a circulation system capable of innovating enterprises. It is expected for enterprises to overcome growing pains and establish a management system capable of achieving outcome (productivity) by repeating measurement and innovation through management diagnosis. In addition, this study provides a method to produce a strategic subject, select priority of implementation and prepare an implementation road map by classifying and filtering management issues produced as a result of management diagnosis in a systematic way. If variables necessary for production of an objective weighted value of scoring and discover of elements for category of diagnostic model and elementary items as well as design of a self-diagnosis questionnaire, measurement of management outcome suggested in this study can be able to be verified and supplemented through case study in the future, it is expected to make the degree of completion as a diagnostic model elevated that may help for growth and development through innovation of medium enterprises.

금형 자동측정에 의한 사상맵 생성 (A Method for Generation of Grinding Map based on Automatic Mold Measurement)

  • Ensuring the quality of molds is one of the major issues in mass production. In general, securing the quality of the molds is achieved by repeating grinding and die spotting after machining the molds based on engineer's decision. However, this heuristic method is affected by the engineer's skill and working environment. Therefore, a lot of time and resources are needed in order to ensure quality. In this study, ensuring the quality of molds using grinding map which is generated using automatic measurement is proposed. An automatic measuring system based on CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is developed for measuring the molds. This system generates the measurement path automatically using the 3D CAD model of products. CAD (ComputerAided-Design), CAM (Computer-Aided-Manufacturing), and CAQ (Computer-Aided-Quality) technology is integrated using DMIS (Dimensional Measuring Interface Standard) format in the automatic measuring system. After measuring the molds, a grinding map is generated using the gap between the CAD model and measured values of mold. The grinding map displays the machining tendency and the required amount of grinding with values on a 3D map. Therefore, the quality of molds can be ensured with exactness and quickness based on the grinding map. This study shows that integrating the planning, measuring, and analyzing based on computer technology can solve the problem of quality assurance of mold using the proposed method, therefore the productivity can be increased.

Facial Shape Recognition Using Self Organized Feature Map(SOFM)

  • This study proposed a robust detection algorithm. It detects face more stably with respect to changes in light and rotation forthe identification of a face shape. The proposed algorithm uses face shape asinput information in a single camera environment and divides only face area through preprocessing process. However, it is not easy to accurately recognize the face area that is sensitive to lighting changes and has a large degree of freedom, and the error range is large. In this paper, we separated the background and face area using the brightness difference of the two images to increase the recognition rate. The brightness difference between the two images means the difference between the images taken under the bright light and the images taken under the dark light. After separating only the face region, the face shape is recognized by using the self-organization feature map (SOFM) algorithm. SOFM first selects the first top neuron through the learning process. Second, the highest neuron is renewed by competing again between the highest neuron and neighboring neurons through the competition process. Third, the final top neuron is selected by repeating the learning process and the competition process. In addition, the competition will go through a three-step learning process to ensure that the top neurons are updated well among neurons. By using these SOFM neural network algorithms, we intend to implement a stable and robust real-time face shape recognition system in face shape recognition.
