In the present social-communicating situation of the folk remedies, we can say there is no responsible main group of it. When we look for recent published remedy books, their authors' background is too various. The folk remedy only focuses on the generality but it does not understand the problem of misusing with lack of explanation and classification in view of the oriental medicine. In conclusion, current folk remedies have formed a figure out of irresponsibility.

Conventional direct moxibustion remedy for cancer medical treatment has used a number of moxa lump for a surgical operation of patient However such a remedy has troubles in operating the moxibustion and causes the risk of burn. In order to get rid of the problems we have suggested the multiple heating pad with the Artemisia patch.

For the perfect cure of rheumatoid arthritis, the ultimate hope of patients and therapist, it is necessary to find a patient early and treat him properly and to teach him what rheumatoid arthritis is. 1. Although rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease and its cause is uncertain matke the patient understand that there are many ways to reduce symptoms and to prevent deformation. 2. Explain the peculiarity and the procedure of rheumatoid arthritis to the patient and encourage him. 3. Teach the patient how to protect his arthrosises by showing him concrete movement. 4. Teach the patient or his family the ways to relieve rheumatoid arthritis easily in his house for continuous remedy. In order to make that remedy most effective for the patient, a complex and balanced treatment, considering medication, surgical teatment and rehabilitative treatment, has to be applied, which needs team work. Team work occurs when doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, nutritionists, clinical psychologists, prosthesis manufacturers, social workers, employment agents and the family of the patient work together. The members of the tern have to onderstand the procedure of the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and apply proper remedies according to the condition of the patient.

An arbitration has great strength in the sense that it is a more rapid dispute resolution than a trial, and is means of dispute settlement for an achievement of the purpose which is the improvement of the rights and interests of consumers. Because the remedy of consumers' damage currently has not worked well, discussions about consumer arbitration as a universal Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is needed. The core of the ADR is not only the professionality and neutrality of an arbitrator and a mediator, but also the non-impairment of the arbitration proceeding's fairness. In addition, it also has both economic feasibility and efficiency. Furthermore, providing an institutional strategy is necessary to ensure fairness in an arbitration award.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Oriental medical treatment on a patient with Crohn's disease. Methods : The patient was treated with acupuncture, herb remedy and moxibustion for about 2 weeks. We evaluated the results of the treatment by observing the patient's symptoms and through the Crohn's disease activity index(CDAI) score. Results : After Oriental medical treatment the patient's symptoms such as emesis, heartburn and abdominal pain considerably reduced. The patients CDAI score decreased from 190.8 to 134.2. Conclusions : These results support that Oriental medical treatment can be a help in relieving symptoms of Crohn's disease.

Tarim River is the longest continental river in China. Its downstream ecological environment declination and valley remedy got great concern. To improve ecological environment of lower Tarim River, “Emergent water transportation project for Tarim river valley remedy” was carried out from May 2000. Water was transported five times till May 2003. Several periods MODIS image was used to monitor water body in river channel. Two periods ETM image was used to interpreter changes of environment. Area of vegetation in 1999 was similar with 2001, but become better in total. The normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and vegetative coverage reflected environment changed better.

Objective : For activation of study on filed of odontology in Korean medicine academia, we analyzed the trend of articles that published in journals of Korean medicine. Methods : Using search words of odontology, in internet reference sites we collected papers and classified those into three categories like as review article, original article, case report. Observation points of each item are as follows. Inclusive item of papers; publication year, journal, number of authors, disease. Item of review article; subject of paper, Item of original article; number of patients, period of research, remedy. Item of case report; remedy, valuation of criteria, number of cases. Results : The total number of articles searched was 88, consisting of 23 review articles, 46 original articles and 19 case reports. The percentage of 'TMJ diseases' ranked highest(47.7%) in classification by disease. The most reviewed subject was 'Remedy' (16 times). '25 or less' person ranked highest(50%) in the number of patient in original articles. Acupuncture, chuna manual medicine and herbal medicine were mostly applied in case reports. The number of 'one case' reported case reports was highest(52.6%).

CISG Article 50 contains the remedy of price reduction but limits it if the seller has a right to cure. Reduction of price presupposes that the seller delivers non-conforming goods, and that the buyer decides to accept them nevertheless. The remedy of price reduction differs from all other remedies provided in CISG with regard to it effects and to the time-limits. As to the time-limits, unlike Articles 46 and 49, Article 50 does not contain the element within a reasonable time. CISG imposes no period of time for his reducing the price. The buyer's right to declare a reduction of the price is expressly subject to the seller's right to remedy any failure to perform his obligations pursuant to Articles 37 and 48. The problem lies in determining from where to take the figures for comparing the value of the goods contracted and of those delivered. The price level in this place will usually determine his considerations as to resale or repair of the defective goods. The buyer must examine the goods, or cause them to be examined, within, as short a period as is practicable in the circumstances. The buyer loses the right to rely on a lack of conformity of the goods if he does not give notice to the seller specifying the nature of the lack of conformity within a reasonable time after he has discovered it or ought to have discovered it.

This study was designed to find out the effects on the lipid metabolism of two herbs used in folk treatment in Korea The two herbs were A: Equisetum arvense L. (Seddugi), B: Eunymus alatus Siebold (Hwasalnamoo). The experiment was performed with the male rats of Sprague-Dawley which fed on high calorie and animal fat supplemented diets from which 30% of the total calories can from lard. Experimental groups were divided into standard (ST) and two other(A, B) groups for the each herb. Each of the two experimental groups consisted of three subgroups (I, II, III) according to the three different doses of the folk remedy used, which were five times and ten times the dose commonly used in a folk remedy. During the experimental period, total food intake and body weight gains were measured, and FER, CER, PER were calculated at the same times. Serum levels of triglyceride, total lipid, ttal cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, and total lipid as well as cholesterol contents of the liver were measured at the time of sacrifice. Epididymal fat pads were weighted and an indes was calculated. The results of the effects on the lipid metabolism were as follows : 1.Total food intake and body weight gains increased in group A & B. 2. The serum levels of the total lipid and triglyceride decreased in AIII, BI and BIII.3. The serum level of cholesterol decreased in group B, while level of HDL-Cholesterol were increased in all groups and most effectively in group B. 4. The contents of total liver lipid increased in groups A&B. cholesterol decreased in groups A&B. In conclusion, effects on the lipid metabolism associated with the kinds of herbs a diet were the increase of body weighta and the decrease of total lipid and cholesterol levels in serum and liver.
