토미즘의 인간적 행위에서 '자기초월'의 의미 (La signification du dépassement de soi dans le Thomisme)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 토미즘에 있어서 '인간적 행위'가 가지는 '자기초월의 성격'을 조명하는 데에 있다. 토미즘에 있어서 이성과 의지를 가진 인간의 본성은 궁극적인 목적에로 지향성을 가진 것이며, 따라서 '인간의 행위'가 아닌 '인간적 행위'란 이러한 본성에 적합한 행위를 말하며, 현재의 상태보다 더 낳은 상태를 지향하는 '자기초월'을 성격을 가지는 것이다. 물론 이러한 자기초월적 성격을 본질적으로 가지게 되는 인간적 행위의 근거는 인간의 형상인 이성혼(理性魂)이 '자립적인 형상'이라는 데에 있다. 토마스 아퀴나스에게 있어서 이러한 인간적 행위의 자기초월의 성격은 크게 세 가지 단계를 거친다고 볼 수 있는데, (1)자연적 진보의 질서 안에서의 초월, (2)도덕적 질서 안에서의 자기초월 그리고 (3)종교적 삶에 있어서 자기초월이 그것이다. 자연적 진보에서는 우선적으로 이성적 영혼의 특성에서 드러나는데, 아퀴나스는 인간의 이성적인 덕을 '나약함 안에서의 충만함'이라고 규정하는데, 이는 이성적인 덕이란 '외적 감각능력들의 목적지($finalit{\acute{e}}$)'로서 고려하기 때문이다. 외적 감각을 통해서 인간은 '감각적 상(especies sensibilis)'들을 수용하며, 이미지들을 보존하고, 이 이미지들은 기억 혹은 추억이라는 형태로 그의 실존의 일부가 되며, 자기의식을 의미하는 정신적인 실재가 되는 것이다. 따라서 토마스에게 있어서 이성의 덕은 단순히 사변적인 능력이 아니라, '되어짐'의 질서, 충만함의 질서 안에 있는 것이다. 바로 이 때문에 토마스는 이성(ratio)의 능력을 '생성(generatio)'에 비유하고 있으며, 지성(intellectus)을 존재(esse)에 비유하고 있는 것이다. 즉 이성은 감각을 초월하고, 지성은 이성을 초월하는 것이다. 도덕적 질서 안에서의 자기초월은 의식의 진보와 관련되어 있는데, 인간의 의식은 언제나 이중적인데, 일차적으로 외부대상에 대한 인식이요, 이차적으로 이러한 외부대상에 대한 인식의 결과라 할 수 있는 자기의식(contientia)이다. 즉 이러한 외부대상에 대한 인식은 근본적으로 자기의식 혹은 자기인식을 목적으로 하며, 자기인식에서 완성된다. 자기의식은 '자기동일성'에 대한 의식을 말하는데, 여기서 인간의 특유한 도덕적 행위가 발생한다. 즉 당위 혹은 의무라는 것은 언제나 '자기동일성'에 대한 적합성을 의미하는 것이며, 이러한 행위가 지속적일 때, 도덕적 삶이 발생하는 것이다. 도덕적 삶이 그 자체 초월적인 성격을 가지는 것은 '자기동일성'에 적합한 인간적 행위란 언제나 '보다 나은 것' 보다 '이상적인 삶'을 지향하기 때문이다. 종교적 삶에 있어서 토미즘의 특성을 보다 잘 부각하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 키엘케고올의 종교적 삶에 대한 초월성을 우선적으로 고찰하고 있는데, 그에 의하면 종교적 삶에 있어서 초월적 성격은 '절대적 차원의 초월'로서 근본적으로 합리적으로 기술되거나 표현될 수 있는 모든 문화적인 인간적인 지평을 넘어서는 '초월' 즉 '절대적 초월($d{\acute{e}}passement$ absolu)을 의미하는 것이다. 반면 아퀴나스에게 있어서 신과 인간 사이의 '친근성($affinit{\acute{e}}$)'은 수용된 덕들(virtutes infusas)이 있는 곳에는 반드시 일종의 종교적인 초월이 수반된다. '가능태'중에 있는 하나의 (수용된)덕이 '현실태'가 되는 곳에는 반드시 '자기초월'의 행위가 수반되는 것이다. 왜냐하면 이러한 수용된 덕의 국면은 신과 인간 사이의 소통을 말해주고 있기 때문이며, 이는 곧 '인간적인 것'에서 '신성한 것'에로의 초월을 암시하고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 아퀴나스의 사유는 구체적이고 개별적인 한 인간의 종교적인 삶 안에서 '자기초월'이 이루어지는 곳에는 언제나 신의 섭리가 개입하고 있다는 실재론적인 사유를 가능하게 하고 있는 것이다.

중도장애인의 레질리언스(Resilience) 과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Resilience Process of Persons with Disabilities)

  • 이 연구는 근거이론 방법을 활용하여 중도장애인의 레질리언스 과정을 분석한 것이다. 이를 위해 갑작스러운 사고로 장애를 갖게 된 중도장애인 8명을 심층 인터뷰하였다. 연구 결과, 총 393개의 개념이 도출되었고, 이를 45개의 하위범주, 18개의 상위범주로 유목화할 수 있었다. 중도장애인 레질리언스 과정의 패러다임 모형에서 인과적 조건은 '장애에 대해 모름', '너무 아파 힘듦', 심리적 고통으로 '마음 안으로 숨어듦'인 것으로 나타났다. 맥락적 조건으로는 '집에만 있어 무기력해지고', 장애인정이 어려워 '스스로 장벽을 쌓으며', 장애에 대한 '사회적 장벽'으로 좌절을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 장애유형, 장애정도, 성(gender), 장애획득시기, 중도장애 여부 등에 따라 레질리언스에 차이가 있음을 보고하였다. 이러한 인과적 조건과 맥락적 조건에도 불구하고 중도장애인이 레질리언스를 갖게 되는 중심현상은 '긍정의 힘에 탄력이 붙음'으로 확인되었다. 이러한 중심현상을 촉진 혹은 억제하는 중재조건으로는 외적으로 가족, 친구, 주변사람, 제도의 지원을 통해 '혼자가 아님을 깨닫고', 내적으로 종교의 힘과 모델링을 통하여 '변화의 의지와 삶의 목표를 가지고 내일을 준비하는' 것으로 나타났다. 작용/상호작용전략은 '노력을 배가하고', '직접 찾아보며', '능동적으로 실행하기'로 나타났으며 그 결과 중도장애인들은 장애와 사회에 대한 '관점이 달라지고', 삶의 '여유가 생기며', 매사에 '적극적으로 참여함'을 알 수 있었다. 중도장애인 레질리언스 과정의 핵심범주는 '긍정의 힘을 믿으며 주도적으로 나의 삶 선택하기'이었으며, 이는 장애인 레질리언스에서 선택과 자기결정을 통한 주도성의 확보가 매우 중요함을 보여주는 것이다. 과정분석에서는 '고통', '낯섬', '성찰', '일상' 단계로 확인되었으며, 이 단계들은 단선적이기보다는 역동적인 순환과정으로 나타났다. 이 과정에서 중도장애인의 레질리언스 유형은 존재성찰형, 진로개척형, 은근노력형, 적극실행형으로 구분되었다. 또한 개인, 가족 및 친구, 사회 및 제도 차원의 위험 및 보호요인에 관한 상황모형을 정리함으로써, 향후 실천적 개입을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 국내에서 처음으로 중도장애인의 레질리언스 과정을 근거이론 방법을 활용하여 심층적 이해를 구축하면서 그 과정 및 유형, 상황모형 등을 구체적으로 밝힘으로써 중도장애인 연구에 관한 이론구축 및 정책적, 임상적 개입에 그 함의가 클 것으로 기대한다.

간호사의 특성이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (A Study of the Degree of Duty Satisfaction According to the Nurses's Characteristics)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the degree of department satisfaction and correlation accordng to nurses's clinical characteristics. Data fors tudy were selected August, 1999. The sample coisted of 512 nurses working in K university hosptal in Seoul. The collected materials have been alyzed by percentage, average, t-test, ANOVA, arson Correlation Coefficiency using SPSS window 8.0 program. The result were as the follows ; 1. Fifty-one percent answered to be satisfactory in current department of work, and nurses who had been experienced the transfer are fifty percent, and nurse specialist is eight point two percent. 2. The order of the degree of department duty satisfaction was mutual action, professinal position, autonomy, assignment desire, relation between the doctor and nurses, wage, administration. 3. The result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to the age has shown significant differences in administration and assignment desire, and the result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to the education and religion has shown significant differences in administration, and the result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to marital status has shown significant differences in wage and administration. 4. The result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according La the position has shown significant differences in administration, assignment desire and the sum of duty satisfaction, and the result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to the nurse specialist has shown no significant differences in total areas, and the result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to the transfer has shown significant differences in relation between the doctor and nurses, administration, autonomy and the sum of duty satisfaction. 5. The result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to the nursing career and present assignment career has shown no significant differences in total areas, and the result of degree of department duty satisfaction according to the present assignment has shown significant differences in relation between doctor and nurses, administration, assignment desire and the sum of duty satisfaction. 6. The result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to the request and experiences of trasfer has shown significant differences in wage, administration, assignment desire and the sum of duty satisfaction 7. The result of the degree of department duty satisfaction according to the degree of satisfaction of present assignment has shown no significant difference in professional position 8. The result of relation of nurses'a clinical characteristics and the degree of department duty satisfaction and the sum of duty satisfaction has shown no significant differences in age, present assignment career, but the result of nursing career has shown significant differences in relation between doctor and nurse, administration, autonomy, assignment desire and the sum of duty satisfaction. and the satisfaction of present assignment which was very effective on duty satisfaction was as significant correlation with wage, professinal position, relation between doctor and nurses, administration, autonomy assignment desire, mutual action and the sum of duty satisfaction. The above result show us that the degree of wage is effected on marital status, experience of transfer, degree of satisfaction of present assignment, request of transfef and the relation between doctor and nurses is effected on experience of transfer, present assignment, degree of satisfaction of present assignment and the administration is effected on age, education, marital status position, experiences of transfer, request of transfer, degree of satisfaction of present assignment and the autonomy is effected on experience of transfer, degree of satisfaction of present assignment and the assignment desire is effected on position, pre sent assignment, degree of satisfaction of present assignment, request of transfer and the mutual action is effected on present assignment. and the sum of duty satisfaction is effected on marital status, position, experience of transfer, request of transfer, present assignment, degree of satisfaction of present assignment.

말기암환자 가족 간병인의 간병 부담과 관련된 요인 (Factors Associated with Care Burden among Family Caregivers of Terminally Ill Cancer Patients)

  • 목적: 말기암환자 가족 간병인의 간병 부담을 줄이는 것은 가족뿐 아니라 환자를 위해서도 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 말기암환자 가족 간병인의 간병 부담과 관련된 요인에 대해 살펴보았다. 방법: 국내 7개 기관의 완화의료병동에서 입원치료를 받는 말기암환자의 가족 간병인 289명의 자료를 분석하였다. 간병인이 느끼는 주관적 간병 부담은 암환자 가족 돌봄 경험 평가도구를 사용하였고, 5가지 차원에서 단계적 변수 선정을 사용한 로지스틱 회귀 모형을 통해 유의한 인자를 확인하였다. 결과: 간병부담의 각 차원에서 다양한 인자들과의 관련성이 확인되었다. 감정적 요인은 가장 폭넓은 영향을 미쳤는데, 감정적 스트레스를 가진 군은 그렇지 않은 군에 비해, 생활패턴이 변할 가능성이 2.54배(95% confidence interval, 1.29~5.02), 가족의 협조가 부족할 가능성이 2.27배(1.04~4.97), 그리고 신체적 부담이 커질 가능성이 5.44배(2.50~11.88)였다. 가족기능은 가족의 협조부족을 매우 잘 반영하였으며, 심한 가족기능 장애를 보일 경우 경제적 부담과도 관련이 있었다. 종교를 가진 군과 동반질환이 없는 군에서 오히려 간병 부담이 더 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 간병기간과 하루 중 간병시간은 생활패턴의 변화와 신체적 부담을 유의하게 예측하였다. 직업을 가지고 있거나, 사회적 지지가 부족하거나, 자주 방문하지 못하는 가족 간병인은 낮은 자아 존중감을 보였다. 결론: 본 연구 결과에 의하면, 가족 간병인의 간병 부담을 파악하기 위해서는 그들의 정서상태와 가족기능을 파악하는 것이 도움이 되며, 사회적 지지체계를 포함하여 경제적 부담을 완화시키는 노력이 필요하겠다.

병원조직내 간호부서의 위치에 따른 간호관리 기능 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of the Function of Nursing Management According to the Position of Nursing Department in Hospital Organization)

  • These days our nation is standing on tiptoe of welfare nation. so hospital in authority have done reformation to provide quality medical services. This effective nursing work to provide quality nursing by keeping pace with the reformation of management of hospital for quality medical function might be well said to be depending on the degree of function of nursing management of nursing department. This essay has been aimed to prepare the data to build the position of nursing organization which can elevate the quality of nursing by clarifying the difference of the degree of the function of nursing management according to the position of nursing department in hospital organization. 135 nurses of 1 general hospital in Seoul which has independent nursing organization of the hospitals of over 600 beds and 155 nurses of 1 general hospital in Seoul which has the nursing organization under the management of medical department have been the objects of this study. The tool of Yoon. Young Ae(1988) has been used by having it amended and complemented and the degree of reliability of the tool was resulted in Cronbach's Alpha .9155. The collected data have been analysed by SPSS program as mean. frequency, chi-square. t-test. F-test(ANOVA) and the results are as the follows; 1. Compared result of general characteristics of the two groups by $x^2$-test showed statistically significant difference between religion ($x^2$=10.375, p=.015) and educational background($x^2$=51.222. p=.000) 2. The t-test aimed to compare the degree of function of nursing management according to the position of nursing department is as the below: Compared result of the degree of the function of nursing management according to the areas has shown higher point in independent type(M=3.22) than in the type under the management of medical department(M=2.85) in the personnel and administrative activities of nursing department. the standard and regulation of nursing duty also showed higher point in independent than in the type under the management of medical department (M=3.37) and the education of nursing showed higher point in independent type(M=3.53) than in the type under the management of medical department(M=3.19) and the evaluation of nursing quality has shown higher point in independent type(M=3.33) than in the type under the management of medical department(M=3.05), The area which showed the highest difference of the degree of the function of nursing management between the two organizations was in the activities of personnel and administration management of nursing department (independent type M=3.22. the type under the management of medical department(M=2.85). The degree of function of general nursing management showed higher in independent type nursing organization than in the type under the management of medical department by 3.41 in independent type and 3.11 in the type under the management of medical department. The items which showed the lowest degree of function of nursing management of both organizations have been suitable nursing man power and distribution and the reflection of the opinion of nursing department. In conclusion. the degree of function of nursing management to be able to provide quality nursing for the hospital goal of quality medical works showed visibly higher in independent nursing organization than in the nursing organization under the management of medical department. Therefore it is desirable for the hospital to operate the nursing department in hospital organization by independent type rather than the type under the management of medical department and the chief of nursing department of the nursing organization of the type under the management of medical department should make effort to reform its structure to be able to establish the position of performing independent nursing management. And also the chief of the nursing organization of independent type should endeavor to build substantial independent type organization more than ever under the viewpoint of securing suitable nursing man power and the low degree of management in the reflection of the opinion of nursing department.

일부 치위생과 재학생의 심신 자각증상에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Psychosomatic Self-Reported Symptom of Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 재학생들이 자각하고 있는 심신건강 문제를 파악하여 재학생들의 건강증진을 위한 프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공할 목적으로 경기도 및 강원도 소재일부 치위생과 재학생 432명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 치위생과 재학생들은 정신적 자각증상(19.37)이 신체적 자각증상(17.53)보다 높게 나타났고, 12개 심신 자각증상의 항목 중에서는 정서불안정(J)이 21.85로 가장 높고, 구강과 항문(D)이 14.59로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 2. 치위생과 재학생들은 연령에서는 '20세 이상'이 '19세 이하'보다, 종교에서는 '있다'가 '없다'보다, 학년에서는 '3 학년'이 '1, 2학년'보다 신체적 정신적 자각증상이 모두 높게 나타났으며, 연령과 학년에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 종교에서는 신체적 자각증상(p<.01)과 정신적 자각증상(p<.05), 다자각증상(I) (p<.01), 소화기(C) (p<.01), 공격성(F) (p<.001), 신경질(E) (p<.01), 눈과 피부(B) (p<.05), 정서불안정(J) (p<.05)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 3. 생활환경에서는 '나쁘다'가 신체적 정신적 자각증상이 각각 18.11과 19.80으로 가장 높고, '좋다'가 가장 낮았으며, 신체적 자각증상(p<.05), 정신적 자각증상(p<.01), 우울성(K) (p<.001), 생활불규칙성(G) (p<.001), 다자각 증상(I) (p<.01), 허구성(L) (p<.01), 구강과 항문(D) (p<.05), 소화기(C) (p<.05)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 4. 건강검진에서는 '건강검진 센터'가 신체적 정신적 자각증상이 각각 22.26과 20.34로 가장 높았으며, '보건소나 무료 진료소'가 가장 낮았다. 통계적으로는 정신적 자각증상(p<.05), 우울성(K) (p<.01), 다자각증상(I) (p<.05), 정서불안정(J) (p<.05)에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 치위생과 재학생들의 건강상태를 증진시키고 이를 유지하기 위해서는 건강관리 방법에 관한 다양한 정보제공과 함께 대학의 정규 교육을 통해 건강관리에 대한 관심을 고취시킬 수 있는 프로그램 개발이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

유행(流行)으로부터 자유로운 세이커(Shaker) 디자인에 대한 고찰 (A Study on Shaker's Free Design from Fashion)

  • 오늘날 디자인은 유행의 영향으로부터 자유로울 수 없다. 이러한 유행은 일시적으로 등장하였다 사라지며 동시에 평균화를 지향하는 속성을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 그 결과 유행의 영향으로 인하여 제품들이 오래 사용되지 못하고 사라지게 된다. 제품의 기능과 상관없이 단지 검증되지 않은 사회적 관념을 통해 제품의 수명이 결정되고 있는 것이다. 결국 유행에 대한 대응이 없게 된다면, 유용한 제품들마저 서서히 우리 주변으로 부터 멀어지게 될 것이며, 최후에는 심각한 환경 문제로 확장 될 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 이러한 상황에서 세이커 디자인의 특성을 살펴보는 것은 중요한 의미가 있다. 미국의 세이커 공동체의 경우 일반 소비사회와 다른 특징을 지닌 경우라고 할 수 있다. 일시적인 유행과 왜곡된 정보가 그들의 의식에 관여할 수 없기 때문이다. 세이커 종교공동체를 살펴보면 종교와 생활 그리고 디자인의 원리가 모두 동일한 선상에서 전개되고 있다. 세이커 디자인에서는 그 어떤 장식과 재료적 차이가 허용되지 않는다. 신(神) 앞에서 모두가 평등하다고 생각하고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 사회적 신분과 경제적 우월감에 대한 그 어떤 표식도 용납되지 않는다. 이러한 의식적 내용을 통해 그들의 디자인은 유행과 장식으로부터 자유로울 수 있었던 것이다. 또한 그들은 완벽성을 추구하였으며, 실용성과 단순성을 통해 그것이 가능하다고 믿었다. 세이커 디자인이 유행으로부터 자유로울 수 있었던 것은 바로 디자인에 의식이 관여하고 있기 때문이다. 결국 유행으로부터 자유롭고, 오랜 기간 동안 사용되는 제품이 디자인되기 위해서는 종교 또는 사회 의식적 내용이 전제되어야 한다.성에 대한 만족도가 비고령자와 고령자간에 어떤 차이가 있는지, 그리고 이를 활용하여 한글서체 환경에서 웹 표준방식에 맞게 활용할 수 있도록 구체화 하여, 고령자를 위한 웹 컨텐츠에서의 서체활용 가이드를 개발하여 급속도로 다가오는 고령화 사회에서 고령자도 쉽게 인터넷을 통하여 정도를 습득하고 사용할 수 있는 유니버설 웹 인터페이스를 위한 기반자료로 활용될 것으로 전망된다. 제외지를 통합하여 TIN분석을 실시하여 범람 홍수해석에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 하천수리해석의 기능을 보강하기 위해 역산조도계수 산정모형, 상류-사류 천이류 구간에 대한 부등류 해석모형, 범람 홍수류에 대한 홍수위 산정모형, 하천수리계산시의 불확실도 해석모형 등의 새로운 기능을 추가하여 제시하였다. 모든 입출력자료는 프로젝트 단위별로 운영되어 data의 관리가 손쉽도록 하였으며 결과를 DB에 저장하여 다른 모형에서도 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 HyGIS-HMS 및 HyGIS-RAS 모형에서 강우-유출-하도 수리해석-범람해석 등이 일괄되게 하나의 시스템 내에서 구현될 수 있도록 하였다. 따라서 HyGIS와 통합된 수리, 수문모형은 국내 하천 및 유역에 적합한 시스템으로서 향후 HydroInformatics 구현을 염두에 둔 특화된 국내 수자원 분야 소프트웨어의 개발에 기본 토대를 제공할 것으로 판단된다.았다. 또한 저자들의 임상병리학적 연구결과가 다른 문헌에서 보고된 소아 신증후군의 연구결과와 큰 차이를 보이지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 자극에 차이가 있지 않나 추측되며 이에 관한 추후 연구가 요망된다. 총대장통과시간의 단축은 결장 분절 모두에서 줄어들어 나타났으나

But there exist differences of thoughts between the orient and the occident. And they have dif-ferent thinking way of aestheticism and references of the value on the beauty. Not only beauty but the view through the mind as intuitional thought in which not only the rec-ognition of sense but also the rationalism and the naturalness play key role. The aesthetic sense in the orient contains both the truth and virtue. 2) The beauty of the mean It's from the thought of neutralization of Confucius. The mean or moderation state which in harmony with ethical virtue and aes-thetic beauty is the ideal and is the ultimate. Therefore the thought of Confucian is the creativity in which the balance and the har-mony is most important. Fashion design is also one of the representation of the mean because the spirit of the designer is harmonized for-mlessly with the object of the model of the fashion design. 2) The beauty of skillfulness It indicates the Taoism of Lao-tzu and Chuangtzu. It takes a super-artistic declar-ation that human can feel and recognize the color of colorlessness the sound of sound-lessness and the taste of tastelessness. The thought of arts affected by Taoism is 'ad-vanced age' called the beauty of skillfulness. The view of arts of lao-tzu takes the beauty of cosmos and the nature as a standard. Es-pecially the beauty of inactivity is recognized by the linkage between the beauty and the ugliness. And these things appear in fashion design as a design element such as humor or exaggeration. 3) The beauty of non-dualism It is thought of Buddhism that all evil passions of worry occur form the opposition in dualism. Finally this thought leads to that everything is consistent and truth is only one from the point of view that virtue and vice has on linkage that is 'no virtues no vices' and 'one with two, two, with one, one is not two' A big tendency like this became the root forma-tion of the thought of the oriental arts. 3. Characteristics of the oriental aesthetic sense on the present fashion design 1) The formation of the fashion design on the oriental elements In the picture-incantation which was a representation of an era when the thought of 'cosmic dual forces' dominated the basic polygons of 'a circle square triangle' means both 'one two three' and 'the negative positive mean' of cosmic elements. From this point of view the was of planner cutting in the Orient is dif-ferent from that of the Occidental which is in three-dimensional. The planner polygon type of the cut-pieces comes to have the meaning of the three-dimension when they consist of a suit that has the combination of each cut-piece. This shows the consistency with the principle of cosmos creation of Taoism that one is two two is three and three is every-thing. 2) The coloring and the symbolic represen-tation of the fashion design on the orien-tal elements The sense on the colors in the Orient from the thought of 'the cosmic dual forces and the five elements' is not the experi-enced from the knowledge but contains the consideration of philosophy Five-primary-color representing compass directions Blue(East) Red(South) Yellow(Center) White (West) and Black (North) is called ' the posi-tive' for this five-primary-color secondary-color which comes from the compound of the primary colors is called 'the negative' The thought of 'the cosmic dual forces and the five elements' is also an theory containing the natural order of the cos-mos and this shows the perceptional differ-ence that they are not conceptual but to be recognized and fell directly. A thought of Buddhism which is 'Colors are colorlessness and Clolorlessness are color's proves that. 3) The pattern and symbolic representation of the fashion design on the oriental elements The pattern as a visual style is a figure of symbolic representation which adopt the mental and physical world of human and are the compo-sition of artistic revelation of the human nature and the religous thought of incantation. Es-pecially the symbolic representation of the oriental thought of Confusion. Buddhism and Taoism There are patterns such as plants aminals the oriental four gods and geometry. From the above it's the time toward the 21'th century when the world is constructing one global area and one historical zone. And the exotic mood of the Orient represented in the fashion which doesn't make the common feeling in general does not cease to develop only to express the visual modeling but also adopts the thought religion and the art which are the root of the Orientail and contains inherent willing of modeling.

한국.중국.일본 여성의 색조대장문화 (A Study on Make-up Culture of Korea, China and Japan)

  • The present research is to study the make-up culture of Korea and its neighboring countries such as China and Japan during the period from the prehistoric age to the 19th cen-tury. The research was made by documents analysis. The results are summerised as follows : (1) A man has a basic instinct to beautify himself. There was not a significant difference between the make-up behavior of men and women in its primal stage. It was by the start of farming and the division of labor that made the make-up behavior as a feminine culture. The difference of sexual role caused the con-ceptual difference between manly beauty and womanly beauty. It was very natural for women to regard the make-up as the best way for showing their feminine beauty. In Korea, China and Japan, there were vari-ous kinds of primal actions such as tattooing, body-painting, and tooth make-up which were used in the purpose of body protection, incantation, ornament, and so on. Ass their ornamental purpose was becoming more important, these primal actions became the basis of the feminine make-up culture. Nowadays make-up, having mental and emo-tional function, is helpful to increasing self-satisfaction, promoting good personal relation-ship, and attracting attention from the other sex. It also has other functions of showing social status, wealth, age, sex, courage, power, and so on. (2) The representative make-up product used widely in the three countries was Boon (powder) which decides the overall color of face. The key point in the production of Boon was to increase its power of adsorption. The invention of Yunboon (power mixed with lead) solved this major problem of Boon. Yeonji which decides the color of cheek was the mixture of Boon and the powder of Honghwa (a kind of red-colored flower or tree). Mimook (eyebrow pencil) was developed to match up with the various and changing currencies of penciling eyebrows in each nation and times, Yeonji and Joosa (red sand) were used as Jinji (lip stick). The predominant color of Jinji was red. As miscellaneous methods of partial make-up, there were Kon-ji used in a wedding cer-emony in korea, Aek-hwang, Hwa-jeon, Sa-hong, and Myun-yup in China, and Chi-heuk, a peculial method of partial make-up in japan. (3) There were various factors which decided the characteristics of make-up culture usually reflects international atmosphere, the form of government, economic situation, re-ligious and social ideology, aesthetic sense, symbolizing meanings of colors, and so on. The up and down of an influentian country was one of the major factors which decided the characteristics of the make-up culture of its neighboring countries. When a country took a liberal form of government, it had diverse and splendid tendencies in its make-up culture. The better a nation's economic situation is, the more abandant and various its make-up culture is, and sometimes, the more eccentric and decadents it was. In the field of make-up production, the three countries had their own characteristics. But, as a whole, China was the leading nation who spread the culture and products of make-up to Korea and Japan. Though the Chinese make-up culture and products were usually spread to Japan through Korean, there was some evidence of direct exchanges between China and Japan through its dispatches of Kyun-Tang-Sa(Japanese delegation to the Tang Dynasty). While religion had a positive influence on the development of make-up culture by introducing new methods of make-up, Confucianism exercised strict control over the make-up cul-ture. The currencies in arts and changes of esthetic sense introduced new methods and booms to the make-up culture. Literature made people pay increasing attentions to the countenances of women and changed the standards of esthetic sense. We can find out that the social status of woman was also reflected in the make-up culture. As the social status of women became higher, the feminine make-up culture also developed more then ever. As mentioned above, the make-up cultures of the three countries reflected their social values, esthetic senses, and emotional feelings. Through their cultural exchanges, the three countries could develop various make-up products and methods.

일부지역주민의 구강보건인식도 및 치과의료 이용양상 (Knowledge and Pattern of Dental Health Care of the Community People)

  • This study was done for the improvement of dental health of rural villagers and the dental health education, through finding of the types of brushing teeth and dental treatment of 812 people in Sunsan, Kyungpook province for 35days from March 27 to April 30 in 1992. Summaries are as follows ; 1. 58.5 percent of respondents were women, 56.3 percent were 40′s, 28.0 percent were 30′s, 12.3 percent were 50′s, and the over 60′s were 3.4 percent Elementary school graduates were 36.1 percent and most of them were middle school graduates, 33.5 percent. In view of the occupation, farmers were 56.5 percent, factory workers were 17.9 percent, the middle class (monthly pay amounting to 500,000∼990,000 won) were 49 percent and the lower class(less than 500,000 won) were 30.9 percent. In the standpoint of religion, Buddhists were 42.5 percent. 2. In the number and times of respondents brushing, 35.5 percent is "after dinner", 25.6 percent is "Before going to bed", 15.8 percent is "After breakfast", 13.3 percent is "After every meal", 5.2 percent is "Before breakfast" and 4.7 percent is "The sometimes it occurs to them". 3. The acquirement process of knowledge on the dental health were clinics or health center dentists (27.6%), TV(24.5%), magazine(9.2%), school(7.8%), relatives(5.3%). and 25.6 percent has never acquired. 28.3 percent of the farmers learned something by clinics and 28.1 percent of them haven′t heard about dental health. 4. The rate of persons who experienced oral diseases during 1 year period was 76.1 percent, and that of the educated was 19.9 percent and that of the uneducated 80.1 percent. The authorities concerned with treatment were dentist′s(41.6%), health center(30.3%), and the unlicensed person(2.9%). The rate of negligence was 6.3 percent, farmers experienced oral disease was 75.2 percent and they utilized the health center most often(36.2%). 5. The rate of person who had experienced dental prosthesis during ten year period was 71.9 percent, and the final place or man for dental prosthesis was dental clinic(59.4%), the unlicensed person(27.1%), and health center(13.5%). The rate of farmers experienced dental prosthesis was 70.4 percent. They utilized the dental clinic, the unlicensed person and the health center with the rates of 51.5 percent, 32.2 percent, and 16.7 percent respectively. 6. As to the results of dental prosthesis using the dental clinic, "being satisfied now" was 72.4 percent, "being dissatisfied" 14.4 percent, "being unable to use it" 3.1 percent, "its being somewhat usable" 10.1 percent, "having some problem" 38.7 percent, and "there being no problems" 61.3 percent. About utilizing the unlicensed person, "being satisfied now" was 65.8 percent, "being dissatisfied" was 10.7 percent, "being unable to use it" 5.1 percent and "its being some what usable" was 18.4 percent. 7. The rate of missing teeth holders amounted to 89.8 percent, the rate of the educated to the uneducated was 19.2 percent to 80.8 percent The reasons of neglecting that illness were due to "Endurable"(28.3%), and "No money" (24.3%). In the case of farmers 89.1 percent of them were the missing-teeth holders, the "Endurable" were 29.8 7. percent, and "No money" lay in 27.4 percent. 8. Their hopeful centers for dental prosthesis were the dental clinics(76.6%), and the health center(16.9%).
