The purpose of this research is to understand the general consumer knowledge and adoption intention of nanotechnology products, one of the advanced scientific fields. We examined consumers' knowledge of innovation products based on nanotechnology, by gender and age group, which are divided into benefits, cost, and trust perception. As a result, the benefits were highly perceived in the order of perceived usefulness, perceived gains, and perceived ease of use. In general, it was found that men and older age group perceived the benefits of nanotechnology to be relatively higher than women and younger age groups did. In terms of cost, perceived risk was relatively higher than other variables and a high innovation resistance appeared in the younger 30s group. Finally, we found that trust for nano-related institution is relatively lower than trust for nano-related people and trust for nanotechnology itself.

The purpose of this study was to examined the antioxidant activities by water and 70% ethanol extract from durian (Durio zibethinus.) seed, sarcocarp and peel. Durian extract were studied for reducing sugar content, polyphenol content, superoxide dismutase (SOD) like activity, electron donating ability, nitrite scavenging ability, flavonoid content, hydroxy radical scavenging activity. Reducing sugar content were increased peel > sarcocarp > seed. Total polyphenol, flavonoid content, DPPH radical scavenging ability and SOD like activity were increased seed > peel > sarcocarp. Total polyphenol content was relatively high as $21.90{\pm}0.50mg/g$ in the ethanol extract of the seed. DPPH radical scavenging ability was relatively high as $62.08{\pm}2.63%$ in the water extract of the seed. Nitrite scavenging ability was no significant difference. Hydroxy radical scavenging activity was increased seed > peel > sarcocarp, was relatively high as $58.27{\pm}1.13%$ in the water extract of the seed.

In this paper, I analyze the mobile broadband services market characterized by vertical and horizontal differentiation. Vertical differentiation as service quality differentiation is based on the transmission speed of mobile internet service and horizontal differentiation as spatial differentiation is based on the service coverage. Theoretical explanations for the competitive price policy have been developed in the game context of WiBro which represent the high quality within the limited service coverage and HSDPA which represent relatively low quality with nation-wide service. When the WiBro has a mobile broadband service quality advantage and the difference in quality is sufficiently low, the price of WiBro with limited service coverage is relatively lower than that of HSDPA. This occurs because the advantage of WiBro's vertical service differentiation is offset by the disadvantage of horizontal differentiation. The difference in the quality of mobile internet service, however, is not too high, the price of WiBro is relatively higher than that of HSDPA. Moreover, when the service quality of WiBro is sufficiently high, the low quality HSDPA service faces no demand.

Chitosan has been widely applied to the products in various industries such as textile fabrics, apparels, foods, medical area, etc. Cochineal has long been employed as one of natural dyestuffs in the textile industry. The effect of chitosan pre-treatment on the low-stress physical and mechanical properties of cochineal-dyed fabrics including cotton, silk, nylon and polyester fabrics was investigated in this study. The chitosan treatment and mordanting of the fabrics changed the bending, shear, compression, and surface properties of the fabrics. In cotton fabric specimens, while the increase of B(bending rigidity) of cotton is relatively high, the increase of G(shear rigidity) of cotton is relatively low. In nylon and PET fabric specimens, while the increase tendency of B is relatively low, that of G is high compared to the corresponding cotton fabrics.

The purpose of the study was to examine the type of self supporting economically, and the relation with the type of self-supporting, perception of family financial security and satisfaction of family life. The data was collected from newly married housewives and major findings are as follow: 1. The type of self-support was about 50% of subjectives, the housewives of this type relatively older, higher income, and they are lower in intimacy with husband's family, perception of financial security and satisfaction of family life. 2. The type of support was 30% of them, they are relatively older, higher educated, and higher income level. They are medium in intimacy with husband's family, and satisfaction of family life, but they percept financial security very highly 3. The type of dependence was relatively younger, very high educated. they are closed with husband's family, satisfied with family life, but not in perception of financial security.

The Gabion wall have been developed on the basis of experimental works and the method is actively used in the actual site. In this study, a relatively small-scale experiment was carried out to figure out the failure behavior of a Gabion wall reinforced by a relatively short wire net to enlarge the axial tensile resistance which is important factor in the stability. The horizontal and vertical displacement of Gabion wall have been acquired and analyzed. Furthermore the results are compared with the test results for a non-reinforced Gabion wall that is performed at the same condition.

SEA is a useful tool to predict noise and vibration response in high frequency region but has a weak point not to be able to express modal behavior in low frequency region. For a structure with middle subsystem having relatively higher modal density than excited subsystem and receiving subsystem, we studied the possibility that the modal behavior of receiving subsystem can express by considering finite mobility of excited subsystem. For a simply three-coupled beams which is chosen for feasibility study, the response of receiving beam was investigated with varying the length & area moment of inertia of middle beam. In case that the middle beam has relatively higher modal density than exciting beam, the application to finite mobility of excited beam led to express modal behavior of receiving beam relatively well.

For the recently defined notion of strongly lifting modules, it has been shown that a direct sum is not, in general, strongly lifting. In this paper we investigate the question: When are the direct sums of strongly lifting modules, also strongly lifting? We introduce the notion of a relatively strongly projective module and use it to show if M = M1 ⊕ M2 is amply supplemented, then M is strongly lifting if and only if M1 and M2 are relatively strongly projective and strongly lifting. Also, we consider when an arbitrary direct sum of hollow (resp. local) modules is strongly lifting.

In this paper, we determine position vector of a line of curvature of a regular surface which is relatively normal-slant helix, with respect to Darboux frame. Then, a vector differential equation is established by means Darboux formulas, in the case of the geodesic torsion is vanishes. In terms of solution, we determine the parametric representation of a line of curvature which is relatively normal-slant helix, with respect to standard frame in Euclidean 3-space. Thereafter, we apply this result to find the position vector of a line of curvature which is isophote curve.
