This paper proposes a compatible variables scheduling algorithm, which is the process to pack variables into same register without modifying program semantics, for efficient register allocation of microprogram. The algorithm constructs T-V matrix, obtains incompatible variable set and scheduling priority, and schedules compatible groups. By this algorithm, the number of compatible groups can be minimized. The algorithm was implemented with C language on VAX-11/780 computer. By applying the algorithm to practical microprograms, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified.

Given the inadequate regulatory framework for liquefied hydrogen gas storage tanks on ships and the limitations of the IGC Code, designed for liquefied natural gas, this study introduces a critical assessment procedure to ensure the safety and suitability of such tank designs. This study performed a heat transfer analysis for boil-off gas (BOG) calculations and established separate design load cases to evaluate the yielding and buckling strength. In addition, the study assessed methodologies for both high-cycle and low-cycle fatigue assessments, complemented by comprehensive structural integrity evaluations using finite element analysis. A comprehensive approach was developed to assess the structural integrity of Type C tanks by conducting crack propagation analysis and comparing these results with the IGC Code criteria. The practicality and efficacy of these methods were validated through their application on a 23K-class liquefied hydrogen carrier at the concept design stage. These findings may have important implications for enhancing safety standards and regulatory policies.

영국은 2004년 국가재난관리법(Civil Contingencies Act 2004)을 통하여 "Emergency"라는 결과중심의 단일 재난개념을 확립하고 있으며, 이를 통하여 유형과 관계없이 다양한 위험에 대비/대응할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고 있다. 역사적으로 볼 때는, 평시 재난관리체계와 민방위 체계가 서로 합쳐져 오늘날의 통합형 재난관리체계(Integrated Emergency Management)로 이어진 것이다. 영국의 재난관리체계는 지역단위에서의 대비 및 대응을 원칙으로 하고 있으며, 이를 위하여 각 대응기관 간의 상호협력과 정보공유를 강조하고 있다. 또한 지역사회 및 영국 전체에서 재난위험성을 진단하고 평가하는 제도, 즉 지역사회 위험목록(Community Risk Register) 및 국가위험목록(National Risk Register) 제도가 잘 구축되어 있으며, 그 평가결과 역시 국민들에게 공개되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 재난위험성 평가 제도를 비롯하여 영국 재난관리체계의 전체 특징 및 특히 최근 변화를 종합적으로 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 우리나라의 재난관리체계가 나갈 방향에 대한 정책적 함의를 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 (1) (영국에서 기이 이루어진) 완전 통합형 재난관리체계의 도입 그리고 이에 따른 민방위 조직의 발전적 해체 및 단일 재난개념의 사용, (2) 경찰을 비롯한 각 긴급대응기관 간 상호운용성(Inter-operability) 확보를 위한 법제도 개선, (3) (영국의 지역사회 위험목록 및 국가위험목록과 같은) 지역 및 국가단위의 재난위험성을 평가할 수 있는 제도의 도입이라는 세 가지 정책적 함의를 제시해보았다.

Piper Alpha disaster drew attention to the damage likely to arise from explosions and fires on an offshore platform. And great concerns have been increased to prevent these hazards. Blast wall is one of the passive safety systems; it plays a key part of minimizing the consequences. However, a buckling due to explosion loads is a factor which can reduce the strength of blast wall. The buckling often occurs between web and flange at the center of blast wall. This study aims to find a solution for reinforcing its strength by installing a flat plate at the spot where the buckling occurs. First of all, ANSYS finite element method is adopted to numerically compute the structural resistance characteristic of blast wall by using a quasi-static approach. Sequentially, the impact response characteristics of blast wall are investigated the effect on thickness of flat plate by using ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Finally, pressure-impulse diagrams (P-I diagram) are presented to permit easy assessment of structural response characteristics of stiffened blast wall. In this study, effective use is made to increase structural intensity. of blast wall and acquired important insights have been documented.

A $32{\times}33$ MOS-type area image sensor has been fabricated. The blooming current is reduced to 1/14 by forming +p photocell in P-well instead of a simple p-type substrate. A shallow n+ junction is made to improve the sensitivity of photodiode on short wavelength. Bootstrapping circuit technique is applied to obtain high speed dynamic shift register. The shift register operates at up to 10MHz for 7V clock.

비교적 적은 수의 레지스터를 사용하는 내장형 프로세서에서 미디어 데이터를 처리할 때, 레지스터 부족으로 인하여 프로세서의 성능이 현저히 감소하는 경우가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 Shadow 레지스터 기법을 사용하여 해결하는 방안을 제안한다. 프로토타입 프로세서를 사용한 비교 실험에서, 제안된 기법은 약 16.7%의 하드웨어 추가로 구현될 수 있으며, 실행기간을 약 16-28%, 감소시키고 실행 프로그램의 크기를 약 3.3-5% 감소시킬 수 있음을 보였다. 본 논문의 실험 결과는 이상적인 메모리 모델 하에서 얻어진 것으로서 실제적인 환경에서는 더욱 큰 이득이 예상된다.

본 논문에서는 의사난수발생기로 사용할 수 있는 산술 시프트 레지스터(ASR. Arithmetic Shift Register)를 제안한다. 산술 시프트 레지스터는 GF(2ⁿ)상에서 0이 아닌 초기 값에 0 또는 1이 아닌 임의의 수를 곱하는 수열로 정의한다. 산술 시프트 레지스터의 주기는 2ⁿ-1로 최대 주기를 가진다. 또한 소프트웨어 및 하드웨어로 구현이 용이하다. 제안한 산술 시프트 레지스터는 종래의 선형귀환 시프트 레지스터와 같이 암호, 오류수정부호, 몬테카를로 적분, 데이터통신 둥 여러 분야에서 폭 넓게 사용될 수 있다.
