The aim of this paper is to find an adequate method to study declination in Korean. In previous studies of declination in Korean, maximum and minimum pitch values in an accentual phrase were measured. But this method is inadequate when an accentual phrase is located at the intonational phrase. So in order to exclude the final tone of an intonational phrase, we propose to measure pitch values of the first and second tone in an accentual phrase when the tonal pattern of the accentual phrase is 'LHLH'. In this case, the line that connects every first tone of an accentual phrase is the baseline, and the line that connects every second tone of an accentual phrase is the topline. By a comparison of declination between focused and neutral utterances, we will show that the topline of declination is more direct to the speaker's plan than the baseline.

The Marketing strategy is basic to the marketing plan for a firm. It encompasses the art and science of employing the means for achieving established marketing goals. The use of the word "strategy" in reference to the performance of marketing operations has been accepted in general usage during the last twenty years by both business practitioners and educators. It has been borrowed from the military vocabulary where it refers to the art and science of employing the armed strength of a belligerent force to secure the objectives of war. A marketing strategy consists of two distinct and yet interrelated parts: 1. A target market ${\cdots}{\cdots}$a fairly homogeneous group of customers to whom a company wishes to appeal. 2. The purposed of this study is to analyze the performance-art facilities. Research methods were reference study (interaction, local performance-art facilities) and research on the actual condition (on 4 local performance-art facilities for field investigation). Consequently emotional interractive space design makes people satisfied with their five senses, communication with people increase and enable people to experience something new that they haven't experienced before transcending time and space. Interaction design is designing experience of user through the interaction for human, thing, system, and space. The result of this research is to found out the possibility of emotional interaction design concept applied in public service area as a plan to revitalize the performance-art facilities.

Design took a radical turn in the 1980's, deconstructing the rigid ideology of the Modernism, often with great humor. Contemporary representable Avant-garde designers, Philippe Starck and Ron Arad brazenly borrowed from the 'historical elements' of previous styles and created bio-morphic forms with whimsical names of furniture. This study is proposed to understand the diversity of contemporary design, by comparing these two furniture designers. It also covers the common factors in contemporary furniture design, and analyzes their individual differences and similarities in design. It helps to plan the foundation of design methods for 21C, and predict and respond to the future as a reference point. Philippe Starck links Romantic Rationalism within Minimal style and Ron Arad links Deconstructivism within High-tech style but both of them pursue of Organic concept design in their furniture through the concept of humanism. They are able to establish a base of contemporary furniture design by adapting new conceptual form, and design process for the general public.

Marine ttransport is a big part of container transportation. In view of container terminal. the planning technology is very important to secure the stability and regularity at container yard. The purpose of this paper is to suggest more efficient container yard management by evaluating the container yard occupations from the methods of divide that predict the carried containers in gates.

Many fatal and non-fatal injuries occurred as a result of unexpected falls from horse scaffolds during structural or finishing works such as painting, plastering, or plumbing. Therefore, this study is to improve safety standards for horse scaffolds used mostly in the interior finishing works. But hazard elements for the horse scaffolds has not been specifically identified. This study has analyzed the accidents of horse scaffolds to prevent construction accidents and the characteristics of a serious accidents related the horse scaffolds. It was suggested a safety management plan and a group of accidents characteristics. The results of this study are expected to be utilized as basic data for prviding a reference related to the horse scaffolds and to be unified the regulations associated with the horse scaffolds.

In this paper, we present the model-based autonomic computing framework for a cyber-physical system which provides a self-management and a self-adaptation characteristics. A development process using this framework consists of two phases: a design phase in which a developer models faults, normal status constrains, and goals of the CPS, and an operational phase in which an autonomic computing engine operates monitor-analysis-plan-execute(MAPE) cycle for managed resources of the CPS. We design a hierachical architecture for autonomic computing engines and adopt the Model Reference Adaptive Control(MRAC) as a basic feedback loop model to separate goals and resource management. According to the GroundVehicle example, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the framework.

반도체 산업은 21세기 정보화 사회를 선도하는 핵심부품 산업으로 국가의 첨단 산업 발전을 촉진하는 주력산업이다 반도체 산업은 첨단 핵심 부품산업으로써, Timing산업, 고부가가치, 고성장, 고 위험, 기술 집약적 특징을 갖는다. 반도체 라인 건설에는 수 조원의 비용과 수년의 시간이 투입되어야 하므로, 생산 및 설비투자 계획의 옳고 그름에 따라 회사의 생사가 결정될 수 있다. 생산 및 설비투자계획을 세우기 위해선 여러 가지 변수를 적용시켜야 한다. 이에 본 과제에서는 과거의 판매자료를 바탕으로 마련된 패턴을 이용하여 라인의 생산계획 및 설비투자 계획을 수립하고자 한다.

1. CONTENTS 1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of the study was to propose a future oriented urban space production strategy to offer diverse useful services to citizens to improve international competitiveness of cities in the times of competition that competitive subjects were changed from competition among countries to competition among cities. 2) RESEARCH METHOD In the proposed future-oriented urban space production strategy, the study compared/analyzed main plans related to development of urban space by selecting CBD(Jung-gu) of Busan out of local metropolises in South Korea. 3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In the proposed future-oriented urban space production strategy, the study largely sorted city's function into four scopes function of industrial support, function of social support, function of living support and function of urban infrastructure. 2. RESULTS It is expected that the proposed future oriented urban space production strategy will be utilized as a useful reference model when a lot of local governments, planning a ubiquitous urban space, establish a plan for constructing a ubiquitous urban space.

Since the election of governors and mayors by vote, many local governments in Korea establish long-range plans for their regional development. The major purposes of the plans are to set up development path for their communities and to devise economic development strategies. But most of the plans established thus formulated by the same method utilized in centralized political regime. This method is considered no longer appropriate to devise the long-range development plans for local government especially in the era of globalization and localization, where local governments behave independently, where local governments behave independently competition. We suggest an alternative way to establish such plans, based on the method employed in business sector. The plans, formulated in this way, are called strategy oriented long-range development plans. The underlying logic for the plans is non-linear one. The plans are issue oriented and focus more on process than outcome. Given that these features are properly incorporated in the plans, we expect that the strategy oriented long-range development plans can be genuine guidelines for local economic development in the years to come.
