  • Information about the formation and filling (in 2014 to 2016) of a terminological dictionary on electronics and radioengineering and collective work (in 2017 to 2018) with a data bank "TERMIN" is presented in this article. In purpose of creating an instrument of navigating the modern scientific-technical space a net of terms with set semantic links is described. This set is based on the analysis of terms' definitions (each term is checked for inclusion in the definitions of all other terms; the definitions were borrowed from reputable reference editions: encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference books). The created model of a system that consists of different information sources, in which it (information) is indexed by the terminology of Russian State Rubricator of Scientific and Technical Information rubrics and/or keywords, is described. There is an access for the search in all these sources in the system. Searching inquiries are referred to in the language of these rubrics or formulated by arbitrary terms. The system is to refer to information sources and give out relevant information. In accordance with this model, semantic links of various types, which allow expanding a search at different modalities of query, should be set among data bank terms. Obtained links will have to increase semantic matching, i.e., they can provide actual understanding of the meaning of the information that is being sought.

  • IDPF, which builds formats and copyright protection standards of eBooks, has announced ePUB 3.0 as a technical standard of eBooks in October, 2011. This standard includes methods how to represent eBooks and technical specifications to protect eBook content. While technical specifications for content protection describe how to represent encryption and digital signature techniques, they do not identify any technical standards for rights expression but just file names for storages of rights information. It does not provide any unification of copyright information representation and formats used by eBook service companies. When copyright protection techniques for eBooks are used, comparability among eBook readers cannot be expected, even though there is a standard of ePUB. This study suggests a method to maintain compatibility toward eBook DRM by using unified rights information process under circumstances where different eBook service companies use diverse methods. The standard reference software of the model proposed in this study, together with other results of this study, will be offered as a registered open software.

  • The study is to trace the origin of the Hongmunkwan ana discuss its development and roles assigned in each succeeding stages of the history. The Hongmunkwan lived a long life through Koryo and Yi dynasties. It was a multi-functioned institution designed as a royal library, an educational institution, and a political reference center. Prior to the Hongmunkwan, there were some established institution with similar functions to its ones during the Three-Kingdom Era. One of such kind was the Sungmunkwan(崇文館), which was eventually renamed the Hongmunkwan by King Songjong(成宗) of Koryo in 995, and a distinguished scholar-minister was appointed at the position of directorship for management of the now status-raised institution where state documents and books were housed. The Hongmunkwan experienced some reforms during its long life. In 1420, King Sejong(世宗) of Yi Dynasty founded the Jipyonjon(集賢殿) within the royal palace in place of the Hongmunkwan. The Jipyonjon was an innovated Hongmunkwan where many scriptures were stored and distinguished scholars and officials studied on them, sometimes delivering lectures to the king. King Sejo(世祖) abolished the Jipyonjon in his second year(1456) and reestablished the Hongmunkwan designed as a royal library in place of the former in his ninth year. King Songjong(成宗) in his 10th year (1479) of the reign, reformed the Yemunkwan(藝文館), which existed from the beginning of the Yi dynasty, by extending its functions and afterwards absorbed it into the Hongmunkwan together with the functions of the former Jibhyonjon which were included in the Yemunkwan. He founded another Yemunkwan which had the roles of drafings and descriptions of royal decrees. In the 10th year (1504) of Yonsankun(燕山君), the Hongmunkwan was abolished and instead of it the Jindokchong(進讀廳) was founded with less authority and functions. But shortly after that, King Jungjong(中宗) refounded the Hongmunkwan with the same scale, same authority and same functions as the former, one. As the Hongmunkwan also had a function of the royal library it collected and kept numerous books and writings in it. Some books and writings of the Hongmunkwan were composed of those which had been transmitted from the Koryo Dynasty and the others were composed of those which had been collected in the country or purchased by the trade with China in the Yi dynasty. Also newly-compiled important books in the country were reprinted and one of them were send to the Hongmunkwan. In the 8th year (1784) of King Jongjo(正祖), the history of the Hongmunkwan, entitled the Hongmunkwanji(弘文館志), was written and editioned by the royal decree and it was reeditioned the 7th year (1870) of King Kojong(高宗). The Hongmunkwan was absorbed into the Kyujanggak(奎章閣) in 1907.

  • Objective : The concept of Eum-Fire(陰火), which was brought up by Li Dong-yuan(李東垣), is such a very ambiguous thing that many medical scholars had tried to understand its real meaning. Trying to understand the real concept of Eum-Fire, this study goes on based on the view that the concept of Eum-Fire in the medical books of Li Dong-yuan was used as being the same thing with the concept of Xim-Fire(心火) and Premier-Fire (相火), and the substance of this kind of fire is the fire in Ximpo(心包) and Myungmun (命門) which works in the system of Ximgye(心系). To verify this view is the main objective of this study. Method : Inquiring into Li Dong-yuan's medical books, this study investigated examples of the uses of the terms of Eum-Fire, Xim-Fire and Premier-Fire, and analyzed the relation between the meanings of these terms. And as a collateral evidence to the main view of this study, this study notes Wang An-dao(王安道)'s reference about Eum-Fire and inquires into the concept of Premier-Fire that was formed by Liu He-jian(劉河間), who had been referred to in Wang An-dao's argument about Eum-Fire. And this study also presents the Chen Shi-duo(陳士鐸)'s view about Eum-Fire that is expected to show a more concrete concept of Eum-Fire than now and seems to deserve to be compared with that of Li Dong-yuan. Result and Conclusion : It could be understood that the concept of Eum-Fire in Li Dong-yuan's books was used as a thing that owns the same substance as a kind of fire with Xim-Fire and Premier-Fire. In this viewpoint it could also be understood that Li Dong-yuan had attached the concepts like Xim-Fire and Eum-Fire to the concept of Premier-Fire, so terms like these could be understood as such concepts that represented the diverse figures of Premier-Fire. And this study also found that the substance of Xim-Fire as a kind of Premier-Fire means the fire of Ximpo and Myungmun that works in the system of Ximgye, which seems to be formerly introduced as a frame of Premier-Fire by Liu He-jian. This study also found the indirect basis of this viewpoint in the books of Chen Shi-duo, and could get a conclusion that Chen Shi-duo's view about Eum-Fire can be regarded as a thing that could show us more concrete matter of Eum-Fire than now.

  • Curriculum can represent the identity of University as an important factor, and especially university has sole power to design and manage his curriculum. So, the information literacy curriculum which teach students to create, store, communicate their knowledge is very important position in the liberal arts curriculum. Thus, this study designs the reference model as 3-dimensional cubic model for information literacy curriculum to help curriculum designers design, manage, and evaluate it. For developing this model, I researched many books and web sites about some of domestic and U.S. universities' curriculums, and made up some questionnaires about students' satisfaction and the direction of information literacy education. An information literacy curriculum was designed using this reference model and lots of students are satisfied with this curriculum after activating in this class. Designed cubic reference model which has a characteristic to expose flexible and systematic context representation in the university curriculum can guide researchers to design, manage, and evaluate information literacy curriculum.

  • Recently Orientalism becomes the center of public interest. So many books related to Cheon Pu Kyung(천부경) are published in Korea. But the present writer thinks that such literature doesn#t communicate us, as it is, the original meaning of Cheon Pu Kyung. Most specialists concentrate on not so much the original text interpretation as annotation in reference to Cheon Pu Kyung. If so, it is difficult for us to find out precisely the real intention of it. Consequently the present writer in the interpretation of Cheon Pu Kyung makes plans to carry out the real intention interpretation and annotation based on Cheon Pu Kyung interpretation of Seok-Kok(석곡) Lee, Kyu-Jun(이규준). Together, the contents on which this article is based on were investigated as follows: 1. words go into 2. the limit of the original text interpretation 3. why does it need the real intention interpretation of Cheon Pu Kyung 4. the interpretative limit of Cheon Pu Kyung literature 5. Cheon Pu Kyung interpretation of Seok-Kok(석곡) Lee, Kyu-Jun(이규준) 6. words go out.
