  • Recently, it is increased on the concern for the reuse of waste concrete because of the shortage of natural aggregate and the increase of waste concrete. And recycled coarse aggregate is used variously, but the existing wet method producted recycled fine aggregate has problems like the high price facilities, the long time progress of the work and recycled fine aggregate of poor. The aim of this study is to investigate the possibility of the method of dry producted high qualities recycled fine aggregate. The results of this study have shown that the possibility of the method of dry is certificated as the qualities of recycled fine aggregate satisfied the KS and the compressive strength of mortar was similar to plain.

  • Until now, the quantity to recycle wasted concrete as the great supplementary value was very little. But considering a insufficiency of the present state of aggregates, the recycling of wasted aggregates is indispensable. This study will offer the basic application data of the recycled aggregates to make by the new attempt and offer the basic data of the great supplementary value of recycled aggregate to make good use of precast process. The result of compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength and drying shrinkage test of concrete by recycled aggregates were similar to the property of normal aggregate concrete, and the contrary effect of recycled aggregate by high temperature steam curing do not have been found out. Therefore the great supplementary value of recycled aggregate to make good use of precast process is possible way to be helpful to a insufficiency of the present state of aggregates.

  • In recent days. it is necessary to find environment-friendly way of diposing industrial waste and reclying system. So this study will analyze the property of Porous concrete improved by concrete waste powder and recycled lightweight aggregate and then suggest the ways of reclying. The method deals with experimenting unit weight of capacity. thermal conductivity, compression and ultrasonic pluse velocity. Considering the relation between ultrasonic pluse velocity and unit weight & thermal conductivity through the graph. the result of relation between ultrasonic pluse velocity and unit weight & thermal conductivity on the graph expessed their high interaction shown as direct proportion on the graph. Recycled Porous concrete merits lightweight and adiabatic. Therefore. we will expect that the current using ALC and Recycled Porous concrete has be similar thermal conductivity.

  • This paper reports mechanical behavior of recycled fine aggregate concretes after high temperatures. It is found that compressive strength of recycled fine aggregate concretes decline significantly as the temperature rises. The elastic modulus of recycled fine aggregate concretes decreases with the increase in temperature, and the decrease is much quicker than the decrease in compressive strength. The split tensile strength of recycled fine aggregate concrete decrease as the temperature rises. Through the regression analysis, the relationship of the mechanical behavior with temperature are proposed, including the compressive behavior, elastic modulus and split tensile strength, which are fitting the test data.

  • Mechanical properties and durability of recycled aggregate concrete was known to decrease due to the adhesive mortar of recycled aggregate. But in this study, As the result of chloride diffusion resistance of recycled fine aggregate mortar, the mechanical properties are reduced according to the increase of the substitute ratio of recycled fine aggregate. But the chloride diffusion coefficient was almost same with natural fine aggregate mortar.

  • This study tried to present the appropriate replacement ratio of the recycled sand through the properties of the ternary system inorganic composite mortar according to replacement ratio change of the recycled sand about the natural sand through test verification. The flowing and compressive strength was degraded as the replacement ratio of the experimental result recycled sand increased. The appropriate replacement ratio of the recycled sand according to it was shown up less than 15%.

  • As the importance of recycled materials is being emphasized more in the Korean construction market, the production quality has been improved to a significantly high level. Compared to the high quality, however, there are used very limitedly. Among recycled construction materials, recycled aggregates produced through the retreatment of waste concrete are drawing attention because of lack of natural aggregate and heightened consciousness of resource saving and environmental protection and, as a consequence, they are close to natural aggregates in terms of production technology and quality. Despite the high quality and productivity, however, the utilization of recycled aggregates is very low.

  • The concrete industry of developing countries like India consumes majority of natural resources. The increase in population has necessitated the construction of more and more structures. Further many structures have completed their life span or have undergone damages thus warranting the demolition of these structures. India produces approximately 23.75 million tons of recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) annually. The natural resources are depleting at a higher rate with the increasing demand of concrete industry. This difficulty can be reduced with the use of RCA in land fill and concrete manufacturing. Use of RCA can provide cost savings and better energy utilization. This paper presents mechanical behavior of concrete comprising successively recycled concrete aggregate. Mechanical properties of recycled concrete get affected with number of recycling. In mix design successive recycled concrete aggregate (SRCA) was used in place of natural aggregates (NA) with 100% replacement. The test results of the compressive, flexural strength and pulse velocity were obtained for 14 and 28 days of curing age which showed significant improvement in results.

  • In this study we intended to investigate properties of cement mortar with recycled PET fiber, PE fiber. and PP fiber such as slump flow, compressive strength, tensile strength, and flexural strength. At results of experiment. several properties of specimen with recycled PET fiber were little low comparing those of specimen with PE fiber and PP fiber. But if we see from point of economy and recycle of industrial wastes, it has enough reason to be used. Compressive strength of specimen with recycled PET fiber at 55 days was about 10% higher. but tensile strength and flexural strength were lower than that of no-fiber.
