초미세 금속 박판 홀 어레이 가공 (Fabrication of Ultra Small Size Hole Array on Thin Metal Foil)

  • In the present research, the simultaneous punching of ultra small size hole of $2\~10\;{\mu}m$ in diameter on flat rolled thin metal foils was conducted with elastic polymer punch. Workpiece used in the present investigation were the rolled pure copper of $3{\mu}m$ in thickness and CP titanium of 1.5fm in thickness. The metal foils were punched with the dies and arrays of circular and rectangular holes were made. The process set-up is similar to that of the flexible rubber pad farming or Guerin process. Arrays of holes were punched successfully in one step forming. The punched holes were examined in terms of their dimensions. The effects of the wafer die hole dimension and heat treatment of the workpiece on ultra small size hole formation of the thin foil were discussed. The process condition such as proper die shape, pressure, pressure rate and diameter-thickness ratio (d/t) were also discussed. The results in this paper show that the present method can be successfully applied to the fabrication of ultra small size hole away in a one step operation.

  • Practicing a hole or an orifice through a plate or a slab constitutes a very frequent engineering situation due to operational reasons imposed on the structural system. From a designer's viewpoint it is important to know the effect of this modification of the mechanical system upon its elastodynamic characteristics. The present study deals with the determination of the lower natural frequencies of the structural element described in the title of the paper using a variational approach and expressing the displacement amplitude of the plate in terms of the double Fourier series which constitutes the classical, exact solution when the structure is simply supported at its four edges.

  • This paper presents an experimental modal analysis of perforated rectangular plates in air or in contact with water. The penetration of holes in the plates had a triangular pattern with P/D (pitch to diameter) 2.125, 2.500, 3.000 and 3.750. The plate was clamped along the plate edges by a number of bolts and nuts. The natural frequencies of the perforated plates in air were obtained by the analytical method based on the relation between the reference kinetic and maximum potential energies and compared with the experimental results. Good agreement between the results was found for the natural frequencies of the perforated plates in air. Additionally, it was empirically found that the natural frequencies of the perforated plate in air increase with an increase of P/D, on the other hand, the natural frequencies of the perforated plate in contact with water decrease with an increase of P/D.

  • This paper presented an experimental modal analysis of clamped perforated rectangular plates submerged in water. The penetration of holes in the plates had a triangular pattern with P/D (pitch to diameter) 1.750, 2.125, 2.500, 3.000 and 3.750. The natural frequencies of the perforated plates in air were obtained by the Rayleigh-Ritz method and compared with the experimental results. Good agreement was obtained between the analytical solution and experimental result. The experimental results in water showed that the mode shapes are not sensitive to the depth of submergence. The natural frequencies were shown to decrease drastically once the perforated plates come in contact with water. However, the natural frequencies decrease with the depth of submergence until a certain depth is reached, and become the asymptotic values beyond this depth of submergence. The depth of submergence did not affect the damping ratio greatly.

  • This paper presents a method by which multiple holes of ultra small size can be punched simultaneously. Silicon wafers were used to fabricate punching die. Workpiece used in the present investigation were the rolled pure copper of $3{\mu}m$ in thickness and CP titanium of $1.5{\mu}m$ in thickness. The metal foils were punched with the dies and arrays of circular and rectangular holes were made. The diameter of holes ranges from $2-10{\mu}m$. The process set-up is similar to that of the flexible rubber pad forming or Guerin process. Arrays of holes were punched successfully in one step forming. The punched holes were examined in terms of their dimensions, surface qualities, and potential defect. The effects of the die hole dimension on ultra small size hole formation of the thin foil were discussed. The optimum process condition such as proper die shape and diameter-thickness ratio (d/t) were also discussed. The results in this paper show that the present method can be successfully applied to the fabrication of ultra small size hole array in a one step operation.

  • The bending phenomenon has been known to be occurred by the different of velocity at the die exit. The difference of velocity at the die exit section can be obtained by the different velocity of billets through the multi-hole container and by the cohesion of billet inside the porthole die chamber. The bending phenomenon can be controlled by the different hole diameter. The experiments using aluminium material for the curved tube product had been done. The results of the experiment show that the curved tube product can be formed by the extru-bending process without the defects such as the distortion of section and the thickness change of the wall of tube and the folding and wrinkling. It is known that the welding and extruding of each billet has done simultaneously although the curved tube is extruded with four billets.

주유동의 난류강도가 엇갈린 배열의 사각홀 하류에서의 온도장 분포에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Mainstream Turbulence Intensitv on Dimensionless Temperature Downstream of Staggered Rows of Recangular Hole)

  • An experimental study has been conducted to measure the temperature fields for two and three staggered rows of the rectangular shaped-holes with high turbulence intensity. 10 % turbulence intensity is obtained by installation of two kinds of grids which have different shapes. One grid which is installed at 30d upstream from center of 1st row of holes is composed of vertical cylinders of which diameter is 10 mm and center to center distance is 18 mm. The other installed 15d apart to upstream from center of 1st row of holes which has square pattern is constructed of 3 rum square bars and bar spacing is 25 mm. Temperature fields are measured by using a thermocouple rake which is attached on three-axis traversing system. The results show that the overall values are decreased and the thicker film of coolant is fanned downstream of rows of holes for high mainstream turbulence intensity.

개구부를 갖는 콘크리트 전단벽의 탄성안정 (Elastic Stability of Perforated Concrete Shear Wall)

  • 개구부를 갖는 콘크리트 전단벽을 두께가 얇은 직사각형 평판으로 모델화하였다. 판의 두가지 경계조건에 대한 안정해석 결과를 판좌굴계수 k로 표시하였다. 경계조건이 다른 변수로는 휨으로 인한 힘/연직하중비 .alpha., 수평 전단력/연직하중비 .betha. 및 개구부의 위치 및 크기 변화이다. 유한요소법에 의한 결과를 얻기 위하여 예제의 판을 27*9의 정사각형 요소로 분할하였으며 node에서 3가지 자유도를 갖는 c.deg. 유한요소를 택하였다. 일반적으로 개구부의 크기가 증가함에 따라 판 개구부가 판 중앙에서 자유연(free edge)으로 접근할수록 좌굴계수는 감소하는 현상을 보이고 있다.

  • The circular cavity resonator which can measure the dielectric properties of dielectrics in the Ka-band(26.5GHz~40GHz) frequency range was designed and fabricated. A structure of the resonator is divided into two equal parts of the length and the dielectric plate sample is placed between two halves. Exciting and detecting of the resonator is performed by WR28 rectangular waveguides using Bethe's small hole coupling. The GaAs plate sample, whose permittivity is known to be 13 in millimeter wave range, was used for the verification of the performance of the fabricated circular cavity resonator. In the measurement of GaAs single crystal using that resonator, the resonant frequency of the dominant $TE_{011}$ mode, the permittivity and $Q{\times}f_0$ were measured as 26.69GHz, 12.9 and 124,000GHz, respectively.
