  • Records management begins at the time of production of the record. Public institutions need control methods and policies to ensure that records are produced and managed properly. Korea introduced the Records production report from the point of time when the Public Records Management Act was enacted to control the records from the production date. However, the Records production report is not operating for that purpose, so records managers and archivists are raising uselessness. In addition, there are differences over whether to keep the system or not, even within the National Archives of Korea. Therefore, the reasons for the existence of this policy, problems in operation, and opinions on alternatives were summarized through interviews with records managers and archivists.

  • The purpose of production status report is figuring out the amount of records produced by departments and record centers and establishing plans for transfer and collect of archives. These are the main functions of production status report clarified by Public Records Management Act. Production status report is introduced as the means to control the record management in public institutions which lack the understanding of the record production and management. Up to now, public institutions carry out production status report. However, it only has been done as a formal procedure and records collected unsurely transfer to Archives. The implementation of production status report does not accord with the original purpose. In addition, there are different views about the appropriateness of production status report. Record managers in the field, the researchers who made efforts to state production status report in the law and the archives did not reached the agreement of opinions yet. The objective of this study is not to judge whether production status report is of importance or not. Although its significance is controversial, it's one of the most important record management tasks and it stands the position as the distinct method in Korea. Nonetheless, the issue that production status report lacks efficiency in the field due to the lack of support of forms and systems brings up continuously. Thus, I evaluated current functions of production status report and proposed future improvements so that it accomplishes its original intent and support users in the field.

  • The written case that reflects the course of treatment for a person is central to the East Asian medical tradition. This paper examines the approaches and particularities of producing the actual written account of the clinical encounter, or a particular aspect of a case, that may be required by acupuncture practitioners and researchers. It will discuss the influences that can be brought to bear on the construction and production of these accounts. In addition, it will outline and highlight historical approaches to the case record documentation process as well as debate the value and purpose of these. This paper aims both to assist the production of helpful and authoritative case records for practitioners and researchers, and to highlight the usefulness of such case records. Moreover, it will discuss not only why the case needs to be written and for whom, but also which agencies support and control what is written. How can contemporary requirements and traditional views both be incorporated accurately, with context and with meaning? The essence of this paper is that practitioner/patient interactions need to be documented, and it will explore how this can best be supported.

  • Architectural Bureau(建築所, Kunchukso) that Imperial Japan set up in the Dept. of Treasury (度支部, Takjibu) executed many construction works from Oct. 1906 to Aug. 1910. In the meantime, this bureau produced many architectural records. But they were hardly preserved. Because Imperial Japan disposed the architectural records which had the historical value in according to the legal and administrative criteria. Nevertheless, it is important to inquiry precisely the architectural records considerating that the buildings that Architectural Bureau made were the products of government initiated construction and its activities influenced those of similar architectural bureaus after 1910. The results are summarized as follows : First, Architectural Bureau put through all processes from plan, design, executation to examination. Second, Architectural Bureau were producted many architectural records which cotained not only drawings but also various types of documents. Third, Architectural Bureau applied the preservation method at the first time in order to control buildings. Therefore, we can verify many informations that the drawings didn't give by analyzing the architectural records. In conclusion, we can establish the foundation that clarify the facts of buildings under the rule of Japan Imperialism and grasp the meanings if we raise the value of records and draw up the use plan by seeking new the architectural records and dividing them into the several groups on the production organizations.

  • The act was designed to identify the introductory cases of the use of quick response (QR) codes in records management by public institutions and propose measures to enhance users' satisfaction with their work. This study looked at the definition of the QR codes and the user services that can be provided by the records depository and reviewed the introduction cases using the codes. The reason QR codes are used by records depositors is that public institutions currently have a single-person system that specializes in records management. With the number of employees and the number of records becoming more extensive, explaining the contents of all tasks accurately as well as other professional contents to employees who lack understanding of the records management life cycle is becoming more difficult. The introductory cases were divided into information on how to register nonelectronic records, information on location and history of important records and administrative museum, and education on standard records management. The research was conducted by dividing the research team's "Records Management Guide" (QR code status) into experimental groups and control groups for officials of the Busan Metropolitan Government. There were significant differences in the level of satisfaction with records management guidance depending on whether or not QR codes were used. When the first and second surveys were compared in December 2017 and March 2018, the results of the first survey averaged 2.94, but the second survey showed high results at 3.75 and was statistically significant. This can be said to be more satisfactory by introducing QR codes than guidance provided by existing type. Although this research examines introductory cases of records management by public institutions using QR codes and user satisfaction, future tasks are to be applied to Records Management System and document production systems so that completion can be improved.

  • Facilities are getting more automated and informative in modern manufacturing systems, especially in semiconductor and LCD plants. These systems keep a great deal of such information on its current and near-future status as the arrival time and job completion time of their parts. This paper presents an efficient policy for AGV and part routing using information on the future status of the system where AGVs are playing a central role for material handling. Efficient control of AGVs is very important because AGV systems often become the bottleneck and limit the total production capacity of a very expensive plant. The cell controller records the future events chronologically in Next Event Schedule, and uses this list to determine to which place the AGVs and parts to be sent.

  • The mitigation of gap between technology and it's applicability in the oil and gas industry has led to a rapid development of deepwater resources. Historically, subsea wells have good track records. However, an ever increasing water depths and harsher environments being encountered are currently posing challenges to subsea production. Complex subsea systems are now being deployed in ways rarely encountered in previous development schemes. These increasingly complex systems present a number of technical challenges. This study presents the challenges in subsea production systems, considering the technical and safety issues in design and installation associated with current development modality.

Therefore, collecting records can be very serious mission. In this study, theatre collections of the country which aims to collect and analyze the characteristics and type of theatre collections. Based on this information, collection scope, targets, priorities, acquisition level, method of collecting are proposed the following. The object includes related information of planning, administration, drama (script), directing, stage design, public relations, production, evaluation, personal records, biographical data, group data and space data. Second, the theatre collections are divided into records and historical records. Priority of collections object is determined by the historical value and the theatre performed by the support of public organization. Third, the acquisition level is divided into archived, mirrored, web linked and database, which is proposed by the determined levels of mandatory, recommend and discretion according to the characteristic of performance. Fourth, acquisition methods are suggested by the general acquisition methods of transfer, donation and purchase as well as the methods of copy, production, legal deposit, entry and web link etc. The acquisition of theatre collections is executed on digital-based environment, and a centralized authority control should be establishmented. And through the development of network with theatre's stakeholders and the cooperation of related organizations, theatre collections acquisition is feasible.
