콩 탈곡손상 절감을 위한 콩 탈곡통 개발 (Development of Threshing Cylinder for Reduction of Soybean Seed Damage)

  • This study was carried out to develop soybean thresher which is able to reduce the soybean threshing damage in comparison to the conventional thresher. A threshing cylinder with different diameter of 480 and 384 mm at each end and with one quarter disc pegs of 60 mm radius was developed and attached to the prototype thresher. A conventional thresher which has a threshing cylinder with $\wedge$ type threshing pegs and same diameter of 480 mm at each end was used for comparative test. A series of comparative performance test was conducted using sun-yu and chung-ja soybean. For sun-yu bean, which is white and usually used for soybean paste and soy sauce, the ratio of damaged beans of prototype ranged 2-3% for 330-360 rpm which is recommended cylinder speed by manufacturer. The ratio of damaged beans of conventional thresher was 3-4% for the same range of cylinder speed. chung-ja beans with black color usually shows high damaged ratio compared with white beans, thus cylinder speed of 250-300 rpm is recommended by manufacturer to reduce the damaged ratio. For this range of cylinder speed, the damaged ratio of prototype was 1.3-1.4% and it was 2.7-6.1% for the conventional thresher. Thus prototype is able to reduce the damaged ratio 1.5-5.0% compared with conventional thresher. Prototype shows 0.4% of unthreshed soybean ratio for sun-yu bean in the optimum range of cylinder speed and it was 0.87% for the conventional thresher. For chung-ja bean, the ratio of unthreshed soybean was almost same for both prototype and conventional thresher with the value of 4.0%. The reason of high unthreshed soybean ratio for chung-ja bean compared sun-yu bean is due to the high seed moisture content of 29.11% which is much higher than that of the recommended.

장려품종 나물콩으로 재배한 콩나물의 일반성분 및 관능적 특성 (Proximate Compositions and Sensory Attributes of Soybean Sprouts with Recommended Soybean Cultivars)

  • 네 품종의 장려품종 나물콩(녹채콩, 다원콩, 서남콩, 풍산나물콩)으로 재배한 콩나물의 일반성분 함량과 관능적 특성을 분석하였다. 일반성분은 생콩나물과 데친 콩나물을 비교, 분석하였으며, 콩나물을 자엽(머리 부분)과 배축(줄기 부분)으로 나누어 각 부분의 일반성분 함량도 측정하였다. 생콩나물과 데친 콩나물의 탄수화물, 지방질, 단백질, 회분 함량은 자엽이 더 높았으며, 수분 함량은 배축이 더 많았다. 콩나물의 일반성분은 나물콩 품종에 따라 차이를 보였으며, 데친 후 성분 함량이 변화하였다. 생콩나물은 콩비린 맛과 풀맛이 약하고 고소한 맛과 단맛이 강할수록, 데친 콩나물은 콩비린 맛과 풀맛이 약하고, 고소한 냄새, 고소한 맛, 단맛이 강할수록, 콩나물무침은 고소한 맛과 단맛이 강할수록 높은 기호도를 보였다. 생콩나물에서 기호도가 가장 좋았던 서남콩 콩나물과 풍산나물콩 콩나물은 데친 콩나물과 콩나물무침에서도 가장 높은 기호도를 나타내었으므로, 서남콩과 풍산나물콩이 데친 콩나물 및 콩나물 무침용 콩나물 생산에 적합한 나물콩으로 생각되었다.

Evaluation in Korean Soybean Cultivars of Resistance to Soybean Mosaic Virus

  • Soybean mosaic virus (SMV) resistance of Korean recommended soybeans was evaluated naturally and by mechanical inoculation in Suwon. Based on the differential reaction of forty-four soybean genotypes tested to nine different SMV strains, soybeans were classified into twenty-four groups. Myeongjunamulkong and Ilpumgeom-jeongkong showed a high degree of resistance to nine SMV strains, having no symptom. The other cultivars produced various reactions according to inoculation of each SMV strain: symptomless, mosaic or systemic necrosis. Only five cultivars such as Kwangankong, Eunhakong, Tawonkong, Namhaekong, Sobaegnamulkong were totally susceptible to every strain. There was variation in disease incidence. Soybeans, having the highest levels of resistance to G5H and G7H in the greenhouse, showed the lowest levels of SMV incidence in the field of Suwon. Myeong-junamulkong, Ilpumgeomjeongkong, Soyangkong, Pungsannamulkong, Sodamkong, Jangmikong, Geomjeong-kong2, Pureunkong, Sinpaldalkong2, Duyoukong, and Geumgangkong were fairly resistant to SMV. And SMV incidence of Taekwangkong, Saealkong and Baegunkong was over 45% with symptom of bud necrosis. And soybeans, highly resistant to SMV in the field and the greenhouse, were mainly derived from Jangyeobkong and Hwang-keumkong resistant to G1-G7.

Weed Control in Organic Soybean Field Using Cover Crop

  • In organic farming agriculture, integration of cover crop into cropping system is recommended to improve the soil quality, prevent soil erosion, and control weeds. The aim of this study was to control weeds in soybean fields by integration of cover crops such as hairy vetch and rye. Due to cover crop mulching, weeds occurrence and growth were radically decreased. One month later after transplanting, weed growth inhibition rate of hairy vetch and rye treatment were 98% and 89% respectively, while crimson clover treatment were 50%. These effects last long over two month. The soybean yield of hairy vetch treatment was best. Therefore using hairy vetch as cover crop was highly recommended in organic soybean field.

Agronomic performance of 20 soybean recommended varieties in Korea

  • A total of 20 soybean recommended varieties which were developed until late 1980's in Korea was evaluated at Suwon. Comprehensive evaluation and correlation analysis were conducted on the agronomic characters. Great variations were found in these genotypes for branch number, pod number, and grain yield per plant. The variation in number of pods/plant ranged from 53 to 164, and in grain yield from 25.9 to 68.8 g. The coefficient of variation for most of the characters had a wide range. In correlation coefficient, grain yield per plant showed a positive phenotypic association with weight of pods, pod number of branches, and weight of stem. Multiple regression analysis was done to formulate selection criteria. It indicated that stout and medium-stature genotypes with more branches, resulting in varieties with more pods per plant but with medium-size seeds are available to obtain high-yielding varieties.

두부의 생산량 및 수응력에 미치는 지방의 영향 (Effect of Fat on the Yield and Acceptability of Soybean Curd)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of fat on gain percent, yield and sensory properties of soybean curd by partial or whole replacement of soybean with defatted soy flour, The results obtained were as follows ; 1. Gain percent and yield of soybean curds were decreased as the fat content of materials decreased. 2. In sensory evaluation, the mean scores for appearance (color and smoothness), texture and acceptability significantly decreased as the ratio of defatted soy flour to soybean increased. However, when the defatted soy flour replaced 20 and 30% of the soybean, the mean acceptability scores did not differ significantly with whole soybean curd. From the above data, if defatted soy flour will be used for making soybean curds with the aspect of sensory and economic reasons, 25% level of replacement can be recommended.

제초제(除草劑) 처리(處理)가 콩 생육(生育) 및 근류균(根瘤菌) 착생(着生)과 VA 균근균(菌根菌) 감염(感染)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Herbicides on the Growth, Nodulation and VA Mycorrhizal Infection in Soybean (Glycine max))

  • 콩 밭에 사용하는 3가지 계통(系統)의 제초제(除草劑)(alachlor, simazine, linuron)를 3 수준(水準)의 농도별(濃度別)로 처리(處理)하여 콩의 생육(生育)과 수량(收量) 그리고, 근류착생(根瘤着生), VA균근균(菌根菌)의 감염(感染)등에 미치는 제초제(除草劑)의 영향(影響)을 구명(究明)하기 위해 포장실험(圃場實驗)을 수행(遂行)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다 1. 콩의 출현율(出現率)은 제초제(除草劑) 종류(種類)에 따라서 無處理區(무처리구)에 비(比)해 기준농도(基準濃度)에서는 통계적(統計的) 유의성(有意性)이 인정되지 않았으나, 제초제(除草劑) 농도(濃度)가 증가(增加)함으로써 감소(減少)하였다. Triazine계 계통(系統)인 simazine은 기준농도(基準濃度)에서도 대조구(對照區)에 비해 출현율(出現率)이 저조(低調)하였으며 特(특)히 simazine 약제(藥劑)의 3배농도(倍農度)에서는 약 50%의 출현율(出現率)을 보였다. 2. 초장(草長)은 기준농도(基準濃度)에서는 거의 차이(差異)를 보이지 않았으나, 제초제(除草齊) 농도(濃度)가 증가(增加)함으로서 감소(減少)하였다. 특(特)히 3주(週) 후(後)에 고농도(高濃度)에서 뚜렷한 감소현상(減少現狀)을 보였다. 3. 경태(莖太)의 경우 약제간(藥劑間)에 차이(差異)를 보여 simazine구가 가장 저조(低調)하였고 2주(週)째 alachlor, linuron 약제(藥劑)의 사용권장농도(使用勸奬濃度)에서는 차이(差異)가 없었으나 시기(時期)가 경과(經過)함에 따라 사용권장농도(使用勸奬濃度)에서도 대조구(對照球)에 비해 감소(減少)하였다. 4. 엽면적(葉面積)과 생체중(生體重)은 무처리(無處理)에 비해 사용권장농도(使用勸奬濃度)에서도 감소현상(減少現狀)을 보였으며 농도(濃度)가 증가함으로서 감소(減少)하였다. 5. 수량구성요소(收量構成要素), 주당근류중(株當根瘤重)은 제초제(除草濟) 농도(濃度)의 증가에 따라 감소(減少)하였다. 특히 simazine 처리구(處理區)에서 심(甚)한 감소(減少)를 보였다. 6. 除草劑 처리(處理)시 VA균근균(菌根菌) 감염율변화(感染率變化)는 제초제(除草劑)의 약량(藥量)의 증가(增加)에 따라 감염율(感染率)이 다소 떨어졌으며 simazine 약제(藥劑)에서 가장 낮았다. 7. 콩의 생육(生育) 및 수량(數量)의 감소(減少)는 근류형성(根瘤形成)의 감소(減少)와 VA균근균(菌根菌) 감염저하(感染低下)에 유의적(有意的) 상관(相關)을 보였으며, 제초제(除草劑)의 과다사용(過多使用)에 의한 근류착생(根瘤着生)과 VA균근균(菌根菌) 감염율저하(感染率低下)는 콩 수량감소(收量減少)의 중요(重要) 원인(原因)이 되는 것으로 여겨진다.

  • Physicochemical properties of frozen immatured soybean (Miwon) under various thawing conditions were investigated. The moisture content, density and other chemical compositions were not affected by the thawing conditions. Thelightness of soybean and soybean hull decreased when thawing with 1$0^{\circ}C$ water while it increased when other thawing conditions used. Hardness and vitamin C content decreased with all thawing conditions ; especially decrease in vitamin C content was severe with microwave thawing. Lipoxygenase activity was significantly decreased when thawing with microwave and 1$0^{\circ}C$ water. It was recommended that thawing with 1$0^{\circ}C$ water was the most apropriate method in terms of overall quality.
