The Effect of Marine Sport Event Visitors' Satisfactions and City Image on Revisit and Recommendation: Focusing on 2015 Busan Cup Women's International Match Race (해양스포츠 이벤트 관람자의 이미지, 만족도가 재방문 및 추천의도에 미치는 영향: 2015부산컵 세계여자매치레이스 요트대회를 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to examine how marine sport event visitors' satisfactions and city image effect on revisit and recommendation. To do this, we analyzed the socio-statistical characteristics of spectators, and examined the influence relationship among city image, satisfaction, revisit and recommendation intention. The results were as follows: First, 'family and relatives' as the companions of spectators of yacht competition were the most, and the route of acquiring the competition information was 'the other', in other words, that most of the respondents learned directly in the field, and 'car' as transportation means was the most. In addition, "local tourism" as watching purposes was the most and 'the day' as the period of stay was the most. Second, the image and satisfaction of spectators of yacht competition showed significant influence on revisit and recommendation intention. Specifically, program satisfaction and program agent satisfaction, which are a sub-factors of satisfaction, have a significant positive effect on revisit and recommendation intention. Through these research results, we were able to confirm inadequacy(lack of attractiveness, connections and public relations) of this event, and see what parts should be improved in order to be born again a sustainable event.

Development of a Recommendation Model for Development Area using Land Suitability Assessment (토지적성평가 결과를 활용한 개발지역추천모델 개발)

  • Land suitability assessment assesses development, farming, and conservation suitability, considering land's soil, location, and possibility for use. It also implement segmentation of management regions into production, conservation, and plan management area. It is evaluated as a very significant system in establishing a land use system of sustainable development and development after planning in the aspect that it can establish proper land use plan. This study developed a recommendation model for development in agent-based model that interacts with surrounding lands. It also tried to summarize the area characteristic analysis and the results of land suitability evaluation, targeting three ri's in Yesan-Gun, and analyze the model's applicability by selection results. In order to recommend area for development that considers the use of the surrounding lands, it calculated development possibility indices that considered the ratings of all the lands in the target areas for each parcel and simulated the model. As a result, selected three areas in target region were suitable areas for development in land suitability assessment. In detail, ratings of the recommended parcels were 3, 4, and 5 ratings. As a result of examining the land status, it showed that all the three areas were plan management areas, thus easy for development. It is judged that the model for recommending area for development suggested in this study can be used as important basic data for setting the direction for development when establishing a regional planning.

Context-aware based TV Application Services in Ubiquitous Computing Environments (유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 상황인식 기반 TV 응용 서버스)

  • With the advent of ubiquitous computing environments, it has become increasingly important for applications to take full advantage of context information, such as the user's location, to offer greater services to the user without any explicit request. In this paper, we propose context-aware active services on the basis of CAMUS (Context-Aware Middleware for URC Systems). CAMUS is a middleware for providing context-aware applications with development and execution methodology. Accordingly, the applications developed by CAMUS respond in a timely fashion to contexts. To evaluate, we apply proposed active services to TV application domain. Therefore, we implement and experiment the TV contents recommendation service agent, control service agent and TV task based on CAMUS. The context-aware TV task is to recommend programs and control of TV according to user preference, location and voice commands.

An Ontology-based Recommendation Agent for Personalized Web Navigation (개인화 된 웹 네비게이션을 위한 온톨로지 기반 추천 에이전트)

  • Ontology is the artifacts for representing the truth or the states of objects by defining objects and their relations. In this paper, we propose an agent that classifies Web documents and provides personalized information towards user`s information needs using ontology. the agent uses ontology in which semantic relations on Web documents are represented in ta hierarchical form to classify Web documents. In this paper, ontology consists of concepts, features(describing concepts), relations(among concepts) and constraints(among elements in a feature). The agent can capture user's information needs efficiently by using ontology and assist Web navigation by using users profiles and the results of identification of semantic relations in Web documents. Also, the agent obtains Web documents by a look-ahead search and represents them as concepts, therefore users can understand them easily by receiving recommendations expressed in the form of high-level concepts.

  • The development of platform service based on the information and communication technology has revolutionized patterns of commercial transactions, driving the growth of global economy. Furthermore, the radical advancement of artificial intelligence(AI) presents the huge potential to innovate almost all the industrial and economic activities. Given these technological developments, the goal of this paper is to investigate AI's impact on the platform service innovation as well as its influence on the business performance. For the goal, this paper presents the review of the types of service innovation, the nature of platform services, and technological characteristics of leading AI technologies, such as chatbot and recommendation system. As an empirical study, this paper performs a multiple case study of Kakao Group which is the leading mobile platform service with the most advanced AI in Korea. To understand the role and effect of AI on Kakao platform service, this study investigated three cases, including chatbot agent of Kakao Bank, Smart Call service of Kakao Taxi, and music recommendation system of Kakao Mellon. The analysis results of the case study show that AI initiated innovations in platform service concepts, service delivery, and customer interface, all of which lead to a significant decrease in the transaction costs and the personalization of services. Finally, for the successful development of AI, this research emphasizes the significance of the accumulation of customer and operational data, the AI human capital, and the design of R&D organization.

  • Streaming Technology can support the real-time playback without downloading and storing multimedia data in local HDD. So, client browser or plug-in can represent multimedia data before the end of file transmission using streaming technology. Recently, the demand for efficient real-time playback and transmission of large amounts of multimedia data is growing rapidly. But most users' connections over network are not fast and stable enough to download large chunks of multimedia data. In this paper, we propose an intelligent IP streaming system based on personalized media service. The proposed IP streaming system enables users to get an intelligent recommendation of multimedia contents based on the user preference information stored on the streaming server or the home media server. The supposed intelligent IP streaming system consists of Server Metadata Agent, Pumping Server, Contents Storage Server, Client Metadata Agent and Streaming Player. And in order to implement the personalized media service, the user information, user preference information and client device information are managed under database concept. Moreover, users are assured of seamless access of streamed content event if they switch to another client device by implementing streaming system based on user identification and device information. We evaluate our approach with manufacturing home server system and simulation results.

  • Recently, many effort is demanded for appropriate operation and management of the Electronic commerce system. Electronic commerce system must provide information satisfying customers. To do this, many kinds of studies are being advanced about electronic commerce system using intelligent agent technology. In this paper, We propose a support system for goods based on Case-Based Reasoning(CBR) and multi-crossselling technology. The system can supply the information of goods that is suitable about customer need under specification condition with CBR technique and can search several goods approximate to customer pattern using Multi-crossselling technique.

A Study on Consumers' Responses to Shopping Chatbot: The Effects of Agent and Message Types (쇼핑 챗봇에 대한 소비자 반응 연구: 에이전트와 메시지 유형 효과를 중심으로)

  • As AI technology develops, its application has been extended to diverse fields. In particular, AI-enabled Chatbot services have garnered growing attention and such services are more important as a tool of communication in mobile shopping. However, research on chatbots is in its early stage and the understanding of chatbots in the context of mobile commerce is very limited. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate consumer responses to a shopping chatbot with a focus on the effects of chatbot agent types and message types. Specifically, a $2{\times}2$ between-subjects experimental design, with the agent type (secretary/friend) and the message type (factual/evaluative) as the independent variables, was employed. The results show that although main effects of chatbot agent and message types are not found, interaction effects between chatbot agents and message types on consumer responses are significant. Specifically, when the agent type was a secretary, consumer responses to product recommendation with a factual message were more positive. On the other hand, in the case of the friend agent, the evaluative message led to more positive responses. The findings suggest that communication elements are important in the understanding of consumer responses to chatbots in mobile shopping and effective strategies for utilizing chatbots for mobile commerce should be considered.

  • 컴퓨터 기술이 발달되면서, 3D 가상현실을 구현할 수 있는 여러 가지 도구들이 웹이나 개인용 컴퓨터에서 운용되고 있다. 또한 3D 가상현실 기술은 새로운 컴퓨터 응용분야로 전자상거래, 기업홍보, 교육, 의료, 시뮬레이션, 그리고 컴퓨터 게임까지 널리 활용되고 있다. 하지만 설계자들이 3D 모델링을 하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 노력이 요구된다. 따라서 새로운 3D 모델을 개발하는 대신에 기존의 모델을 효과적으로 재사용할 수 있다면 많은 노력과 시간을 절약 할 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 이러한 것이 가능하려면 사용자에 의해 정의된 3D 객체를 데이터베이스로부터 관련성이나 유사성이 높은 객체를 찾을 수 있어야한다. 이 논문에서는 에이전트 기법을 사용하여 메타데이터와 온톨로지 정보를 참고하여 3D 모델을 추천하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였다.
