  • A power limiting algorithm is proposed for stable operation of grid-connected inverter in case of grid voltage unbalance considering the operation limit of inverter. During the voltage unbalance the control performance of Inverter. is degraded and the output power contains 120Hz ripple due to the negative sequence of voltage. In this paper, conventional dual sequence current controller is implemented to solve these problems using separated control of positive and negative sequence. Especially the maximum power limit which guarantees the maximum rated current of the inverter is automatically calculated as the instant grid voltage changes. As soon as the voltage recovers the proposed algorithm can return to the normal power control mode accomplishing low voltage ride through. Proposed algorithm is verifed using PSCAD/EMTDC simulations and tested experimentally at 4.4kW wind turbine simulator set-up.

  • DC-Motor is needed more and more sophisticated control to follow the highest precision of industrial automation and used in a number of control equipment or industrial fields. It is also useful to control single crystal(Al2O3) growth. It is possible to procure a quality crystal utilizing a DC-Motor, if you mix Hydrogen and Oxygen gas properly and keep proper temperature in accordance with time process. • For the purpose of fault detection of the primary control surface, real-time estimation of the longitudinal stability and control derivatives of the DURUMI-II using the flight data is considered in this paper. The DURUM-II, a research UAV developed by KARI, is designed to have split control surfaces for the redundancy and to guarantee safety during the fault mode flight test. For fault mode analysis, the right elevator was deliberately fixed to the specified deflection condition. This study also mentions how to implement the multi-step control input efficiently, and how to switch between the normal mode and the fault mode during the flight test. As a realtime parameter estimation technique, Fourier transform regression method was used and the estimated data was compared with the results of the analytical method and the other available method. The aerodynamic derivatives estimated from the normal mode flight data and the fault mode data are compared and the possibility to detect the elevator fault by monitoring the control derivative estimated in real time by the computer onboard was discussed.

  • Linear motor is easily affected by load disturbance, force ripple, friction, and parameter variations because there is no mechanical transmission to reduce the effects of model uncertainties and external disturbance. These nonlinear effects have been reduced for high-speed/high-accuracy position control either through the better motor design or via the better control algorithm that can compensate the nonlinear effects. In this paper, a nonlinear adaptive control algorithm is designed and applied for the position control of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor. In order to estimate and compensate the nonlinear effects such as friction and force ripple, the estimation and the nonlinear adaptive control laws are derived based on the virtual control input and a suitable Lyapunov function. The proposed controller is evaluated through the computer simulations. The control algorithm is also implemented to a DSP board and interfaced to the PMLSM for verifying the realtime control performance.

  • Recently microcomputers have come into wide use in the field of the control. They are used not only as monitors and as controllers in the various plant control systems but also as the Computer Aided Design of control systems. As an example of the design and the realtime control of the control system using Microcomputer, the optimal design of the control system of which the numerator of the transfer function is constant have been reported by authors. In this paper, author proposes a method to design the optimal controller about the control system of which the numerator of the transfer function is not constant, and develops the program of the response simulation.

  • Background: About one third of the human population suffer cancer during their lifetime and more than 20% of total morbidity is related to neoplasia. Cervical cancer is generally the most common cancer in developing countries and the second most common in women globally. The role of human papilloma viruses viruses in its induction is clear. However, the involvement of hepres simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) is controversial. Therefore a survey was conducted of the prevalence of HSV-2 in patients with cervical cancer and also healthy people with sensitive and quantitative Taq Man real-time PCR assay. Materials and methods: Seventy six formaldehyde fixed paraffin embedded tissue specimens from patients with histologically proven history of cervical cancer as well as 150 control blocks were sectioned for deparaffinization and DNA extraction. Results: There was no HSV-2 DNA in our patient specimens but four control samples were positive, all with a history of hysterectomy. Conclusion: Considering the absence of any positive viral HSV-2 DNA in our patients and also the presence of four positive specimens among our controls, we did not find any relationship between the presence of HSV-2 DNA and cervical cancer.

  • Driver for safety always check the status of their vehicle, and it is essential to understand. When driver know vehicle driving status, there is know vehicle driving status to use vehicle realtime control data by OBD-II of vehicle network and connected OBD-II connector. But, connector to receive OBD-II data differ each communication connection method to connect smart device.(such as smartphone, blackbox, EDR) if vehicle driver change another smart device from smart device(such as android -> iphone, iphone -> android), vehicle driver exist the inconvenience that purchase new OBD-II connector. in this paper, As make up for the fault, there is to implement one OBD-II connector that integrate Bluetooth, Wifi, WCDMA module. as result, anything smart device was notified realtime vehicle control data through implemented one OBD-II connector in this paper

  • This paper reports on a Realtime OS based motor control system for laparoscopic surgery robot which enables telesurgery and overcomes shortcomings with conventional laparoscopic surgery. The system has a conventional master-slave robot configuration and the control system consists of joint controllers, host controllers, and power units. The robot features (1) a compact slave robot with 5 DOF (Degree Of Freedom) expanding the workspace of each tool and increasing the number of tools operating simultaneously, and (2) direct 1:1 correspondence in the joint of master and slave robot that simplifies control algorithm and enhances reliability. Each master, slave and GUI (Graphical User Interface) host has a dedicated RTOS (RealTime OS), RTLinux-Pro (FSMLabs Inc., U.S.A.) Each master and slave controller set pair has a dedicated CAN (Controller Area Network) channel for control and monitoring signal communication. Total 4 pairs of the master/slave manipulators as current are monitored by one host controller for operation monitoring and higher level motion control. The system showed acceptable performance in both position control precision and master-slave motion synchronization and is now under further development for better safety and control fidelity for clinically applicable prototype.

  • When linear PI controller is used in speed control of induction motor, there happen some weaks which is very difficult to find optimal control gain at time of changing speed and load. In this paper, Fuzzy system incorporated with PI controller is proposed in order to that defects. PI gain is calculated by theoretical basis and fuzzy control is translated human expert's knowledge and experiences into rules numerically. Also it modifies and compensates PI gains in realtime. As comparing the motor characteristics of proposed fuzzy-PI speed controller to PI speed controller of a Vector controlled induction motor system in the increasing load torque and speed change during start and stop, The simulation results show robust and good performance.

  • Maintaining track tension in tracked vehicles minimizes the excessive load on the tracks and prevents the peal-off of tracks from the road-wheel, and adequately guarantees the stable and improved driving of the tracked vehicles. However, the track tension cannot be easily measured due to the limitation in the sensor technology, harsh environment, etc. In this study, the track tension is estimated in realtime from the measurable signals of tracked vehicles and controlled based on a fuzzy logic controller. The proposed control system is implemented on tracked vehicles and its performance is evaluated under various driving conditions.
