This study clearly defined the idea of convergence of small and medium companies and convergence types and understood convergence case of small and medium companies for each type in order to help enhancement of competitiveness of small and medium companies. The convergence type of small and medium companies accepted two levels including technology and industry and value improvement and creation suggested by Deloitte(2009) and it was classified into technology improvement-market expansion type, technology improvement-market creation type, technology creation-market expansion type, and technology creation-market creation type based on the companies introduced in the excellent casebook of convergence and integration technology development business of small and medium companies(August 2011). As a result, it was shown as 5 cases of technology improvement-market expansion, 4 cases of technology improvement-market creation, 3 cases of technology creation-market expansion, and 1 case of technology creation-market creation among the total 13 cases. Therefore, small and medium companies are focusing on technology improvement than technology creation and market expansion than market creation. What we can understand through cases analysis on convergence types of small and medium company is that it is very difficult for small and medium companies to create new technology or new market through convergence. Thus, small and medium companies consider market expansion through technology improvement as the objective and result of convergence. It is important to create new technology or new industry to cultivate new growth engines of the nation, but policy support that cares about reality of small and medium companies must be considered at the same time.

The improvement of dimensional accuracy for forged part is one of major goals in cold forging industry. There are many problems in controlling the dimension only by the trial-and-error, especially for a precision forged gear. A FEM analysis has been used in developing the forging technology. However, FE techniques have to be reconfirmed for predicting accurately the dimension of forged part. In this study, the effects of elastic characteristics and temperature changes are investigated by the comparisons between experimental and FEA in cold forging. When FE models related with elastic characteristics are considered as reality, FE results could predict the part dimension within the range of 10 $\mu\textrm{m}$. And if temperature also is considered really, the predicted dimensions are well coincided with the experimental down to about 5$\mu\textrm{m}$.

The author argues that the 'real' purpose of knowledge Revolution should be on the recovery of socio-cultural competitive edge rather than the temporary improvement of this economic competence, and that public library revolution should be a prerequisite for the success of Knowledge Revolution. Also suggested are the macro and micro strategies and methods for the realization of the public library revolution.

Product Liability(PL) is a legal policy to deal with global competition by improving domestic industrial competitive power and to reduce the cost of defect products. The purpose of this paper is to address the state of the art solutions to dispute on PL, in reality of a frequent occurrence of global product exchange focussing on product safety that is one of the most important functions of PL and to improve solution of the product safety and reliability responsive to PL. To minimize PL exposure, manufacturers should reflect comprehensive product safety and reliability concepts in establishing PL prevention policies. Total PL prevention policies are composed of total quality management and product safety management system in respect of safety design, risk, and reliability. These PL prevention activities should be performed consistently during the total product life cycle, especially product research and development periods.

As long as there is education, there will be teacher education. This statement implies that science education is the first step for the improvement of science education of the secondary schools. And science education must reflect an everchanging reality of scientific, technological, and social changes. However there have been problems in the curiculum and its operation for science teacher education. Therefore this research has its objectives to: 1) investigate the current goals of science education in the Korean secondary schools. 2) analyze the quality' and Knowledge required for science teacher to achieve the goals. 3) investigate the status and problems of science teacher education in korea and foreign countries. 4) develop a model for curriculum and its operation for desirable science teacher education. As a result of the study, a model for curriculum is described and the summary of the results of the study and suggestions for operation of the model are followed.

Cancer vaccine development is in the process of becoming reality in future, due to successful phase II/III clinical trials. However, there are still problems due to the specificity of tumor antigens and weakness of tumor associated antigens in eliciting an effective immune response. Computational models to assess the vaccine efficacy have helped to improve and understand what is necessary for personalized treatment. Further research is needed to elucidate the mechanisms of activation of antigen specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes, decreased TREG number functionality and antigen cascade, so that overall improvement in vaccine efficacy and disease free survival can be attained. T cell epitomic based in sillico approaches might be very effective for the design and development of novel cancer vaccines.

In this study, through the development of the Survey questions for employments to increase employment rates which has 2 items in 23 questions and the analysis of the questionnaire based on the response results of 289 senior students who are finding their jobs. It has the effect that providing basic data about employment preparatory stance and giving counseling, discussions and future directions. So there are carefully proposed desirable increasement plans of employment rates by considering the regional characteristics and reality.

This study explores the limitation in making a causal model through an existing case and proposes an alternative plan to improve a theoretical system of causation modeling. To make a dynamic and actual model, several principles are needed such as reality based analysis of system structures and dynamics, consistent expression of causations, conversion of numerical formulas to causal relations, classification and arrangement of variables by size of concept, etc. However, it is hard to find cases to apply these considerations from existing models in System Dynamics. Therefore, this study verifies errors of derived models from literatures and proposes principles and guides that should be considered to make a sound dynamic model on a causal map. It contributes to making an opportunity for exciting public opinion to improve theory about causal maps, yet it has limitation that the study does not advance forward to the experimental step. For future study, it plans to make up by classifying and leveling causal variables, developing a dynamic BSC model.

Being different from 20th Century, the right of disabled have attracted much social attention. In reality, the disabled still suffered or not properly respected, thereby a little far less in achieving the quality of life. The purpose of this research was to examine the fitness between the persons with limited mobility and their living environment. Small group workshop with three persons with limited mobility were used for utilized. Living behavior and physical environmental characteristic of dormitory house and interaction between them were identified. Major problem appeared to be accessibility which include the path, room size and furnishing. Even though the dormitory satisfied the government requirement legally. Substantial problems were found because of resident real life. This implied deep consideration beyond Act needed to create a right to robust environment toward persons with limited mobility.

Industrial management can be achieved in the improvement of productivities and goods qualities, only copy with international competition through technological renovation, This compels the renewal and augment of production equipments, for which more investment has to be projected. Equipment investment, However, has the possibility of assuring the expectation of profit, but the capricious reality of economical situation caused by inflation requires the precedent study of exmining, analyzing and assaying the effect of equipment investment for a long term. The resolution must depend on a technique of what is called engineering economy, which scrutinizes some samples of investment analysis under price fluctuations, which designates through a method of direct calculation that the only less scale of primal investment never bestows wider profit, and recognizes what contribution engineering economy has to the decision making of management.
