  • The DMSMS(Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage) can occur in every weapon systems and especially, this phenomenon frequently occurs in electronic parts. But we have no DMSMS-related directives, guidelines, regulations and activities, so we have some difficulties in operating weapon systems. In this paper, we review the reality of DMSMS in our weapon systems and then suggest effective alternatives to reduce the risk of DMSMS for weapon systems.

  • Ship handling simulator has much merit to provide trainees with real-like circumstances in doing virtual education and training. To improve the quality of the education, it should be included both the mathematical model which can explain complicated ship's manoeuvrability and graphic tools for 3D images which can embody the visual scenes of reality on screen. This paper is focused on how to construct the marine environment DB(data Base) using S-57 data of ENC(Electronic Navigational Chart).

  • Due to the decrease in infrastructure investment and stagnation of overseas construction, it is concerned the instability of the construction market. Enhancing the Korean construction competitiveness, productivity improvement could be the breakthrough. In addition, defining construction contents utilizing virtual reality technology is drawing attention along with the trend of the fourth industrial revolution technology development toward the labor productivity improvement. This study conducted a survey to figure out the present state of the productivity management in field and comprehend the factors influence on construction productivity for further Korean construction productivity data platform.

Probabilistic Support Vector Machine Localization in Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Sensor networks play an important role in making the dream of ubiquitous computing a reality. With a variety of applications, sensor networks have the potential to influence everyone's life in the near future. However, there are a number of issues in deployment and exploitation of these networks that must be dealt with for sensor network applications to realize such potential. Localization of the sensor nodes, which is the subject of this paper, is one of the basic problems that must be solved for sensor networks to be effectively used. This paper proposes a probabilistic support vector machine (SVM)-based method to gain a fairly accurate localization of sensor nodes. As opposed to many existing methods, our method assumes almost no extra equipment on the sensor nodes. Our experiments demonstrate that the probabilistic SVM method (PSVM) provides a significant improvement over existing localization methods, particularly in sparse networks and rough environments. In addition, a post processing step for PSVM, called attractive/repulsive potential field localization, is proposed, which provides even more improvement on the accuracy of the sensor node locations.

  • Gardens are known to provide relaxation, including psychological stability and mental rest. Recently, social interest in gardens has been growing in various ways, including the increase of groups sensitive to environmental pollution and a rising interest in the overall management of natural resources. In reality, however, the owners of housing gardens lack fundamental knowledge for creating and maintaining the gardens, directly and indirectly. This limitation presents a number of problems and challenges. Therefore, this study conducted an analysis of various aspects relating to the creation and maintenance of housing gardens, reflecting the sense of ownership. The study aimed to examine the current status, and based on this, it was intended to present improvement measures for practical and efficient creation of housing gardens and their maintenance in the future.

  • Recently, the Severe Disaster Punishment Act (January 27, 2022) was implemented, and the importance of industrial safety and health is being re-recognized. In addition, the reality is that the management burden is increasing, such as investing huge costs in reducing safety accidents centered on large companies. In this situation, we would like to help improve the working environment consistent with safety and health by deriving diagnosis and improvement measures for the current situation through a survey of production workers working in mid-sized and small-sized enterprises.

  • Pipe support is a representative structure that supports slab formwork, and it is a representative temporary equipment that has been systematically managed since the 1990s when the domestic temporary equipment performance test system was introduced. Nevertheless, it is also a reality that many of the products in circulation are used products that are reused and do not meet the performance of the initial manufacturing stage. However, if only new products are insisted, it could lead to delays in the process due to an increase in construction costs and difficulties in timely delivery. On the contrary, it is not acceptable for the safety of the construction site to use products of low quality without verification procedures or standards. Therefore, this study attempts to grasp the management system such as safety certification for temporary equipment and the actual condition of quality control to maintain performance, and propose improvement plans.

Research on disaster management personnel improvement measure of local government

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the disaster management system of local governments by diagnosing the current status of disaster management experts in Korea, deriving problems and improvement measures, and looking at local governments' total labor cost system. The status and status of disaster management personnel were compared and analyzed to find ways to improve the local government's disaster management response system under the Framework Act on Disaster and Safety Management in Korea. Considering Korea's reality, because national security and disaster management exist together, we devised a plan to improve on-site response capabilities and seek solutions by deriving the problems of the currently operating security and safety-related organizations.

  • 콘텐츠의 디지털화와 네트워크의 광대역화로 인한 다매체 다채널 환경은 광고시장에도 많은 변화를 초래하고 있다. 콘텐츠 유통 윈도우로서의 플랫폼은 증가하고 있지만 이를 장악하는 미디어는 제작능력과 자본능력을 보유한 소수의 매체라는 점에서 증가하는 플랫폼을 통한 추가 광고의 수익은 대부분 이들 거대 독점 미디어에 쏠려 있는 것이 현실이다. 여기에 미디어렙 법안이 국회 본회의를 통과하면서 일부 미디어에 편중된 광고시장의 쏠림현상이 가속화될 전망이다. 이와 같은 현실에서 다양한 장르와 실험적인 도전으로 새로운 콘텐츠 제작과 유통의 성장이 예견되고 있는 유료방송시장이 직접적인 영향권에 놓일 전망이다. 따라서 본 연구는 유료방송광고시장의 확대를 위한 방법론과 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구의 결과, 간접광고와 가상광고, 광고금지 품목에 대한 개선방안이 제시되었고, 기업과 정부 차원에서 광고시장 확대를 위한 방법론이 제시되었다.
