The Effects of Online Home Learning in Connection with Extracurricular Activities for Lifelong Education for the Disabled at University on Cafeterias Cooking Assistance Skills of Job Search Persons with Developmental Disabilities

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of online home learning in connection with extracurricular activities for lifelong education for the disabled in university on the cooking aids skills of cafeterias for the job search persons with developmental disabilities. Three people with job search developmental disabilities who have been in a state of unemployment for three years after graduating from a special high school course participated in the experiment. In order to verify the meaningful functional relationship between independent variables and dependent variables, multiple probe design across subjects, one of the main techniques of a single object study, was used. The experimental conditions according to the research design consisted of the steps of baseline, intervention, maintenance, and generalization. The dependent variable of this study is the restaurant cooking aid skills in the cafeteria, and three subskills such as side dish arrangement, sink arrangement, and dish washing were combined by task analysis. And the independent variable of this study was composed of procedures and methods to teach the environment, tools and materials related to the performance of dependent variables to the developmental disabled people at home by using real-time image technique through zoom service, and the contents of the performance by stages of task analysis. In addition, independent variables were applied to the subjects in the course of the extracurricular activities with the theme and contents of lifelong education for the disabled at university. Students who completed the above extracurricular activities practiced the intervention scene of the researcher through the screen sharing of zoom service. As a result, the subjects with developmental disabilities effectively acquired and maintained the positive response performance of dependent variables through independent variables. The subjects also showed high positive responses to generalization tests conducted in kitchens in cafeterias located elsewhere in the same university.

  • 본 연구는 PC 및 VR 디바이스를 이용하는 사용자가 리모트 환경에서 데이터 시각화를 협업 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 개발한다. 시스템에서는 사용자들이 시각화 분석의 프로세스 이해를 돕고 역할 분담을 효과적으로 할 수 있도록 업무 지향(task-oriented) 형식의 노드-링크 제어 인터페이스(node-link control interface)를 제공한다. 또한, 다수의 사용자가 물리적으로 공간이 분리되어도 협업을 진행하여 시각화 분석의 피드백을 받을 수 있는 네트워크 환경을 제공한다. 시스템에서 진행하는 협업 분석 방식을 설명하기 위해 시나리오를 설계하였다. 그리고 관련분야 전공자를 대상으로 시스템의 사용성을 측정하는 파일럿 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과 확장현실 공간에서 이해하기 쉬운 형식의 인터페이스 조작을 통해 데이터를 자유롭게 분석할 수 있고, 리모트 환경에서도 실시간으로 협업 분석을 수월하게 진행할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

발전소 주급수 계통 감발 과정에서의 스윙체크밸브 닫힘 시점의 실험적 결정 (An Experimental Determination of a Swing Check Valve Closure Time in the Main Feed Water System of a Power Plant during Shut-down Process)

  • The reliable operation of a swing check valve in the main feed water system of a power plant is most essential for successful shout-down process. A failure to close the valve at proper time often leads to the instability of the main feed water system, or even to an emergency stop of the power plant. In reality it is a very difficult task to monitor the behavior of a swing check valve. Furthermore it is impossible to see the motion of the valve. In this work two measurements were carried out simultaneously to determine the precise valve closure time. The dynamic pressure measurements were made at the inlet and outlet regions of the swing check valve. The transient vibration of the valve housing in the direction of water flow was also measured, which enabled the measurement of the transient vibration of the valve housing near valve closure. By comparing the results produced from these measurements the precise valve closure time could be determined. By carrying out order tracking technique using the dynamic pressure signals and pump rpm signal, the complicated dynamic problems inside the main feed water system can be more easily dealt with. This measurement scheme might be implemented in a power plant on a real-time basis without much difficulty. If this could be implemented, valuable information essential for shut-down operations can readily be passed on to the main control room. The feasibility of this implementation was demonstrated by this experimental work.

An Optimized User Behavior Prediction Model Using Genetic Algorithm On Mobile Web Structure

  • With the advancement of mobile web environments, identification and analysis of the user behavior play a significant role and remains a challenging task to implement with variations observed in the model. This paper presents an efficient method for mining optimized user behavior prediction model using genetic algorithm on mobile web structure. The framework of optimized user behavior prediction model integrates the temporary and permanent register information and is stored immediately in the form of integrated logs which have higher precision and minimize the time for determining user behavior. Then by applying the temporal characteristics, suitable time interval table is obtained by segmenting the logs. The suitable time interval table that split the huge data logs is obtained using genetic algorithm. Existing cluster based temporal mobile sequential arrangement provide efficiency without bringing down the accuracy but compromise precision during the prediction of user behavior. To efficiently discover the mobile users' behavior, prediction model is associated with region and requested services, a method called optimized user behavior Prediction Model using Genetic Algorithm (PM-GA) on mobile web structure is introduced. This paper also provides a technique called MAA during the increase in the number of models related to the region and requested services are observed. Based on our analysis, we content that PM-GA provides improved performance in terms of precision, number of mobile models generated, execution time and increasing the prediction accuracy. Experiments are conducted with different parameter on real dataset in mobile web environment. Analytical and empirical result offers an efficient and effective mining and prediction of user behavior prediction model on mobile web structure.

양돈장 작업장소별 암모니아 및 황화수소의 실시간 모니터링 (Real-time Monitoring of Ammonia and Hydrogen Sulfide According to Workplace at Swine Farms)

  • Objectives: This study aims to assess the concentrations of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide according to task unit area at swine farms. Methods: A total of six swine farms were selected for this study. Ammonia and hydrogen sulfide were monitored using a real-time multi-gas monitor which could sample the gases simultaneously. The sampling was done in the pig building, manure storage facility and composting facility of each farm. Results: The concentration of ammonia in the pig buildings(GM 22.6 ppm, GSD 2.3) was significantly higher(p<0.0001) than in the manure storage facilities(GM 10.4 ppm, GSD 2.7) and composting facilities(GM 8.6 ppm, GSD 2.8). The concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the manure storage facilities(GM 9.8 ppm, GSD 3.2) was higher(p<0.0001) than in the pig buildings(GM 2.3 ppm, GSD 2.3) and composting facilities(GM 1.9 ppm, GSD 2.5). In particular, the levels of hydrogen sulfide in the confined manure storage facilities were higher than those in open-type facilities and the peak concentration(98 ppm) in the confined facilities was approximate to 100 ppm, at the value of Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health(IDLH). Conclusions: Suffocation accidents caused by hazardous gases at a swine farm have occurred annually. Real-time monitoring of the hazards should be done in order to protect farm workers and livestock from the sudden accidents.

관측위치오차와 시간지연오차를 보정하는 소나방위정확도 측정 장비 구현 (Implementation of Sonar Bearing Accuracy Measurement Equipment with Parallax Error and Time Delay Error Correction)

  • 소나방위정확도는 소나에서 예측한 표적방위와 실 표적방위와의 일치성을 나타내며 측정을 통해 구해진다. 하지만 소나방위정확도 측정 시에는 복잡하고 다양한 환경 요인이 작용하는 해상에서 이루어지는 관계로 여러 오차가 결과에 포함된다. 특히 GPS 수신장치와 소나센서 위치 차이로 발생하는 관측위치오차와 수중 음파 속도와 공기 중 전자파 속도 사이에서 발생되는 시간지연오차는 정확도에 큰 영향을 미치는 요소이다. 이런 관측위치오차와 시간지연오차를 자동화도구 없이 보정하는 것은 많은 노력이 들어가는 작업이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 관측위치오차와 시간지연오차를 보정하는 소나방위정확도 측정 장비를 제안하였다. 실험은 모의데이터와 실 해상데이터를 통해 이루어졌으며, 실험 결과 관측위치오차와 시간지연오차가 시스템적으로 보정되어 모의데이터인 경우 51.7%, 실 해상데이터인 경우 18.5% 이상 보정됨을 확인하였다. 제안한 방법을 통해 향후 소나시스템 탐지성능 검증의 효율성 및 정확성 향상을 기대한다.

Performance Improvement of Offline Phase for Indoor Positioning Systems Using Asus Xtion and Smartphone Sensors

  • Providing a customer with tailored location-based services (LBSs) is a fundamental problem. For location-estimation techniques with radio-based measurements, LBS applications are widely available for mobile devices (MDs), such as smartphones, enabling users to run multi-task applications. LBS information not only enables obtaining the current location of an MD but also provides real-time push-pull communication service. For indoor environments, localization technologies based on radio frequency (RF) pattern-matching approaches are accurate and commonly used. However, to survey radio information for pattern-matching approaches, a considerable amount of time and work is spent in indoor environments. Consequently, in order to reduce the system-deployment cost and computing complexity, this article proposes an indoor positioning approach, which involves using Asus Xtion to facilitate capturing RF signals during an offline site survey. The depth information obtained using Asus Xtion is utilized to estimate the locations and predict the received signal strength (RF information) at uncertain locations. The proposed approach effectively reduces not only the time and work costs but also the computing complexity involved in determining the orientation and RF during the online positioning phase by estimating the user's location by using a smartphone. The experimental results demonstrated that more than 78% of time was saved, and the number of samples acquired using the proposed method during the offline phase was twice as much as that acquired using the conventional method. For the online phase, the location estimates have error distances of less than 2.67 m. Therefore, the proposed approach is beneficial for use in various LBS applications.

체류시간을 고려한 여행 일정 추천 시스템 (Personalized Itinerary Recommendation System based on Stay Time)

  • 최근 교통 기술의 발전과 여가생활에 대한 관심이 늘어남에 따라 여행이 주요 여가 활동으로 자리 잡고 있다. 또한, 스마트폰이나 태블릿PC와 같이 GPS를 탑재한 모바일 기기 보급으로 인해 사용자의 위치를 실시간으로 수집하는 것이 가능해졌다. 이런 환경을 바탕으로 번거로운 여행 일정 계획을 대신 수립해주는 여행 일정 추천 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되었다. 그러나 기존의 연구들은 사용자들의 비용이나 시간에 대한 제약사항을 고려해 짧은 경로를 포함하는 여행 일정을 추천하거나 여행 목적지에서 가장 인기 있는 지역을 가장 많이 포함하는 일정을 추천하는 것을 목적으로 하기 때문에 개인의 만족도를 높이기 위한 개인화된 여행 일정 추천시스템에 대한 연구는 많지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사용자들의 만족도를 높이기 위한 개인화 서비스 연구의 일환으로 그 동안 다른 연구에서는 간과되었던 사용자들의 체류시간을 고려한 여행 일정 추천 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 차량 항법 시스템에서 가장 중요한 기능중의 하나는 현재 위치로부터 목적지까지의 가능한 경로들 최단경로를 계산하는 일이다. 차량 항법 시스템의 중요한 어려움 중 하나는 대용량 디지털 로드맵상에서 최단경로를 구할 때 많은 계산 시간이 소요된다는 점이다. 차량 항법 시스템은 실시간 시스템이므로, 제한 시간을 만족하여 최소 비용 경로를 계산하는 것은 매 우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 대용량의 디지털 로드맵(Road Maps)에서 최단 경로 계산을 효 율적이고 빠르게 하기 위해서 디지털 로드맵을 효율적으로 계층 구조화하는 HiTi(Hierarchical MulTi) 그래프 모델을 개발하였다. 제안된 HiTi 그래프 모델에 기반을 둔 SPAH라는 새로운 최단 경로 알고리즘을 제안하고, SPAH가 계산한 최단경로의 최적성 (Optimality)을 증명하였다. SPAH의 성능분석을 통하여 SPAH가 기존의 다른 최단 경로 계 산 알고리즘들 보다 훨씬 빠르게 최단경로를 계산한다는 것을 보여주었다. HiTi 그래프 방 법은 여러 가지 측면에서 다른 유사한 방법들과 상세하게 성능실험을 통하여 장.단점이 비 교 분석되어 졌다.

병리추가조직검사 정보전달을 위한 업무프로세스 연구 (Study Focused on Task Process regarding Effective Information Transfer of Ancillary Tests in Diagnostic Pathology)

  • Purpose: Ancillary tests such as immunohistochemistry or molecular testing for pathologic diagnosis are performed using ready-made tissue blocks for a histological examination. Various methods and processes during ancillary testing cause some of issues, particularly in the time required and the results reporting scheme. Methods: To solve these issues, we constructed real-time management software. When a pathologist or a clinician had ancillary tests examined using this software by selecting the codes of the needed ancillary tests on site and the system assigned the tests to each laboratory. Then, pathology technologists checked the referred tests and performed the examination. In clinical departments, serial number of each ancillary test can be matched the original pathologic ID. In the department of pathology, numbers of tissue blocks that needed additional tests could be indicated and detected using one-click detection system when a clinician referred the test. Results: Using this system resulted in simplifying the referral procedures from nine-steps to three-steps in each clinical department and from seven-steps to two-steps in department of pathology. Errors that happened on the paper-based request system were also reduced. Furthermore, the time required was saved by seven hours in pathologic laboratory on average. Mean durations from requesting to reporting of the ancillary test was reduced by three days for specimens of health promotion center. Conclusion: Construction of an effective information transfer system may be helpful for shortening the time required, reducing errors, and checking processing information of the tests in real time.
