결측 택시 Probe 통행속도 예측기법 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Technique to Predict Missing Travel Speed Collected by Taxi Probe)

  • 택시 프로브(Probe)를 이용한 구간통행속도 모니터링체계는 지능형교통체계(ITS)의 핵심적인 하부시스템 중 하나이다. 택시 프로브기법을 통해 수집되는 구간통행속도는 도시가로망의 교통상태 모니터링과 통행시간 정보제공에 널리 활용되고 있다. 그러나 택시 Probe기법은 표본수가 적고 교통혼잡으로 인하여 구간통행시간이 자료수집 주기보다 큰 경우, 실시간으로 자료가 수집되지 않는 누락상태가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 누락상태는 단일시간대에서 다중시간대에 걸쳐 발생하게 되며, 기존의 단일시간대 예측기법으로는 다중시간대의 상태를 예측하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 다중시간대 누락상태에서 실시간 구간통행속도를 예측하기위한 기법이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 단일시간대 예측기법의 한계를 극복하면서 단일 및 다중시간대 통행속도를 예측하기위한 기법을 개발하였다. 개발된 모형은 비모수회귀(NPR)을 기반으로 개발되었으며, 다중시간대 예측에도 불구하고 기존의 단일시간대 예측기법보다 우수한 정확도를 보였다.

  • Plasma is widely used in various commercial etchers and chemical vapor deposition. Unfortunately, real-time plasma process monitoring is still difficult. Some methods of plasma diagnosis is improved, however, it is possible for real-time plasma diagnosis to use non-intrusive probe only. In this research, the object is to investigate the suitability of using impedance analysis and optical emission spectroscopy (OES) for real-time plasma process monitoring. It is assumed that plasma system is a equivalent circuit. Therefore, V-I probe is used for measuring impedance, which can be a new non-intrusive probe for plasma diagnosis. From impedance data, we tried to analyse physical properties of plasma. And OES, the other method of plasma diagnosis, is a typical non-intrusive probe for analyzing chemical properties. The amount of the OES data is typically large, so this poses a difficulty in extracting relevant information. To solve this problem, principal component analysis (PCA) can be used. For fundamental information, Ar plasma and $O_2$ plasma are used in this experiment. This method can be applied to real-time endpoint and fault detections.

Development of a Real-Time Soil Moisture Meter using Oscillation Frequency Shift Method

  • The objective of this study was to develop a real-time soil moisture meter using RF impedance. The impedance suchas capacitance and resistance (or conductance) was analyzed using parallel cylinder type capacitance probe(C-probe) and Q-meter (HP4342). The capacitance and conductance of soil increased as volumetric water content increased. The 5 MHz of modified Colpitts type crystal oscillator was designed to detect the capacitance change of the C-probe with moist soil. A third order polynomial regression model was proposed to describe the relationship between RF impedance and volumetric water content. The prototype real time moisture meter consisted of the C-probe, sample container, oscillator, frequency counter and related signal processing units. The calibration equation for measurement of volumetric moisture content of soil was developed and validated. The correlation coefficient and root mean square error between measured volumetric water content by oven method and predicted values by prototype moisture meter for unknown soil samples were 0.984 and 0.032$cm^3$$cm\^3$, respectively.

개별차량 및 5분 집계 프로브 자료를 이용한 실시간 교통정보 제공 (Real-Time Traffic Information Provision Using Individual Probe and Five-Minute Aggregated Data)

  • 무선통신기기 보급 확대로 인해 프로브 기반 교통정보시스템이 확대 구축되고 있다. 프로브 기반 통행시간 정보의 시간 처짐 현상 극복을 위해 다수의 예측 기법들이 적용되고 있지만, 일별 및 요일별 교통패턴이 불규칙한 구간에서는 예측 기법의 효용성이 저하되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이로 인해 불규칙한 교통패턴을 나타내는 구간에서는 일반적으로 5분 집계단위의 프로브 정보를 사용하는데, 이는 집계 시간간격만큼 시간 처짐 현상을 증대시킨다. 이에 본 연구에서는 통행시간 패턴이 불규칙한 구간에 적용 가능한 교통정보 제공 방법론을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 개별차량 단위 프로브 정보와 5분 집계 프로브 정보를 융합 적용하는 것으로써, 제안된 방법론 적용 시 통행시간 정보 오차를 최대 18%까지 감소시킬 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

상용 3차원 측정기의 전체 측정정밀도 교정 및 실시간 보정시스템 (Development of Calibration and Real-Time Compensation System for Total Measuring Accuracy in a Commercial CMM)

  • This paper presents techniques for evaluation and compensation of total measuring errors in a commercial CMM. The probe errors as well as the machine geometric errors are assessed from probing of the mechanical artefacts such as shpere, step, and rings. For the error compensation, the integrated volumetric error equations are considered, including the probe error adn the machine geometric error. The error compensation is performed on the absolute scale coordinate system, in order to overcome the redundant degree of freedom in the CMM with multi-axis probe. A interface box and corresponding software driver are developed for data intercepting/correction between the machine controller and machine, thus the volumetric errors can be compensated in real time with minimum interference to the operating software and hardware of a commercial CMM. The developed system applied to a practical CMM installed on the shop floor, and demonstrated its performance.

  • 소의 혈액, 세포, 조직, 기관 등이 생물의약품, 조직공학제제, 세포치료제, 의료기기의 원재료로 널리 사용되고 있다. 소유래 성분 원재료에 다양한 바이러스가 오염된 사례가 있기 때문에 소유래 물질을 원재료로 사용한 제제의 바이러스 안전성 검증이 필수적으로 요구된다. Bovine adenovirus type 1(BAdV-1)은 소에게 가장 흔하게 감염되는 바이러스 중의 하나이다. 소유래 물질을 원재료로 하는 생물의약품, 조직공학제제, 세포치료제, 의료기기 등에서 BAdV-1 안전성을 확보하기 위해, 세포주, 원재료, 제조공정, 완제품에서 BAdV-1을 정량적으로 검출하고, 제조공정에서 BAdV-1 제거 검증을 위한 시험법으로 활용이 가능한 TaqMan probe real-time PCR 시험법을 확립하였다. 세포배양법에 의한 감염역가와 비교한 결과, real-time PCR 검출한계는 $7.44{\times}10^1\;TCID_{50}/ml$이었다. 확립 된 시험법의 신뢰성(reliability)을 보증하기 위해 시험법 검증을 실시한 결과, 특이성(specificity)과 재현성(reproducibility), 완건성(robustness)이 우수함을 확인하였다. 확립된 real-time PCR을 생물의약품 제조공정 검증에 적용할 수 있는지 확인한 결과, 인위적으로 BAdV-1을 오염시킨 Chinese Hamster Ovary(CHO) 세포주에서 BAdV-1를 정량적으로 검출할 수 있었다. 확립된 시험법을 항체의약품 생산용 CHO 마스터 세포주와 소유래 type 1 collagen에서 BAdV-1 검출 시험에 산업적으로 적용하였다. 위와 같은 결과에서 확립된 BAdV-1 real-time PCR 시험법은 감염역가 시험법과 같은 생물학적 시험법을 대신할 수 있는 신속하고, 특이성과 민감성이 우수한 시험법임을 확인하였다.

Rapid Identification of Vibrio vulnificus in Seawater by Real-Time Quantitative TaqMan PCR

  • In order to identify Vibrio vulnificus in the Yellow Sea near Gunsan, Korea during the early and late summers, the efficiency of the real-time quantitative TaqMan PCR was compared to the efficiency of the conventional PCR and Biolog identification system^TM. Primers and a probe were designed from the hemolysin/cytolysin gene sequence of V. vulnificus strains. The number of positive detections by real-time quantitative TaqMan PCR, conventional PCR, and the Biolog identification system from seawater were 53 (36.8%), 36 (25%), and 10 strains (6.9%), respectively, among 144 samples collected from Yellow Sea near Gunsan, Korea. Thus, the detection method of the real-time quantitative TaqMan PCR assay was more effective in terms of accuracy than that of the conventional PCR and Biolog system. Therefore, our results showed that the real-time TaqMan probe and the primer set developed in this study can be applied successfully as a rapid screening tool for the detection of V. vulnificus.

소, 돼지, 가금육류의 신속한 동정을 위한 TaqMan probe를 이용한 real-time PCR 개발 (Development of TaqMan probe-based real-time PCR for rapid identification of beef, pork and poultry meat)

  • Species-specific $TaqMan^{(R)}$ probe-based real-time PCR assays were developed for detection of beef, pork, chicken, duck, goose and turkey. The primer and probe sets used in this study were designed to be complementary to fibroblast growth factor (FGF) for cattle and pig, mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase (ND) subunit 3 and ND2 for chicken and duck, 12S rRNA for goose and turkey, respectively. As internal positive control we used conserved region in the ribosomal 18S RNA gene to ensure the accuracy of the detection of target DNA by real-time PCR. We confirmed that real-time PCR assays with the primer and probe sets were positive for cattle, pig and chicken intended target animal species with no cross-reactivity with other non-target animal species. Only >50 ng DNA of beef show cross-reactivity in the determination of duck. Using species-specific primer and probe sets, it was possible to detect amounts of 0.1 ng DNA of cattle and pig, 1.0 pg DNA of chicken, duck and turkey, and 0.1 pg DNA of goose for raw samples, respectively. The detection limits were 0.1 ng DNA of cattle, 1.0 ng DNA of pig and 1.0 pg DNA of chicken for DNA mixtures (beef, pork and chicken) extracted from heat-treated ($121^{\circ}C$/5 min) meat samples. In conclusion, it can be suggested that the $TaqMan^{(R)}$ probe-based assay developed in this study might be a rapid and specific method for the identification of meat species in raw or cooked meat products.

  • In a distributed real-time system(DRTS), testing and debugging are difficult and critical procedures since they implies several problems like probe effects, nondeterminism, and complex communication patterns. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of a real-time monitor for ARM processors which are frequently used for embedded applications. The focus of design is to help users debug real-time programs while minimizing the probe effect. Our monitor provides cross debugging features like down-loading from host, break-point based debugging features, and watch-point debugging features for real-time applications. We developed the debugger for ARM processor and debugger has been used for kernel program.

Abundance of the Toxic Dinoflagellate Alexandrium catenella in Jinhae Bay, Korea as Measured by Specific Real-time PCR Probe

  • The marine toxic dinoflagellate Alexandrium catenella has been implicated in numerous paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP) events in many countries. Due to difficulties in rapidly identifying A. catenella, field-based study of this species has been problematic. The present study developed a TaqMan format A. catenella-specific probe for real-time PCR assay (specific to Korean genotype) based on LSU rDNA sequence information for studying geographic and temporal distribution of the species in surface sediments and water columns of Jinhae Bay, Korea. The field survey from 2007 to 2008 revealed that A. catenella occurred in most seasons at low densities, mostly below 1 cell $mL^{-1}$, and was more abundant in spring (maximum cell density of 2 cells $mL^{-1}$) when shellfish exceed the quarantine toxin level for PSP toxins in Jinhae Bay.
