WLAN 기반 실시간 VoIP Streaming을 위한 효율적 채널 스캐닝 기법 (An Efficient AP Channel Scanning Scheme for Real-time VoIP Streaming in Wireless LAN)

  • IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN 네트워크 상에서 동작하는 단말(Mobile Station)의 끊김 없는(Seamless) 이동성을 제공해 주기 위해서는 현재까지 연구된 핸드오버 기능 및 구조에 대한 연구와 함께 보다 다양해진 네트워크 환경과 다양한 단말들의 특성 등을 고려한 종합적인 핸드오버 기능에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 특히 새로운 AP를 찾기 위한 채널 스캐닝 과정이 핸드오버 지연시간의 대부분을 차지하고, 이는 WLAN 환경에서 Real-time Multimedia 서비스를 위한 끊김 없는 핸드오버를 하기에 가장 큰 장애요인으로 꼽힌다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11 WLAN 네트워크에서 단말의 끊김 없는 핸드오버를 제공해 주기 위하여 필요한 기능들을 도출하고, 다양한 네트워크 환경에서 채널 스캐닝 지연시간을 줄이기 위해서 핸드오버가 필요한 단말들이 선택적 채널 스캐닝을 할 수 있는 새로운 스캐닝 기법을 제안한다. 단말은 스캐닝 기법에 따라 이웃 AP들에 대해 사전 채널 스캐닝을 수행하여 각각의 AP가 현재 사용하고 있는 채널 정보를 인지하고, 이후 단말이 핸드오버가 임박했을 때 미리 정해진 스캐닝 그룹과 순서에 따라 선택된 채널에 대해서만 스캐닝을 수행하여, 불필요한 전체 채널 스캐닝을 최소화 함으로서 최적의 AP를 빠른 시간 내에 찾을 수 있도록 제안한다. 또한 단말의 이동에 따라 핸드오버가 필요한 상황이지만 RSSI 값이 Scan Trigger Value 보다 커서 핸드오버를 못하는 현상을 방지하고자, 단말에서 Scan Trigger Value와 Handover Threshold Value를 입력할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자한다.

  • 자연휴양림은 개인의 자아개발과 자연에 대한 교육, 숲 속에서의 심신의 휴양공간을 방문객에게 제공하는 공익적 시설중의 하나다. 이러한 방문객이 누리는 휴양의 가치는 단순히 방문비용만으로 그 가치를 추정하기 곤란하다. 이러한 환경재, 또는 비시장재의 가치를 측정하기 위해 많이 적용되어진 기법 중의 하나가 조건부가치측정법 또는 가상적 가치추정법이라고 불리는 CVM 이다. 모집단으로 설정한 충북지역 12개소 자연휴양림 중 6개소를 조사 대상지로 선정하여 경제학적인 접근법으로 측정한 충북지역의 일인당 연간 휴양의 가치는 약 14,000원에서부터 약 16,500원 사이로 추정하였다. 그리고 연간이용객을 적용한 충북지역 자연휴양림 1개소의 휴양가치는 약 12억 원에서 약 13억 원, 충북지역 전체 자연휴양림이 제공하는 휴양의 가치는 연간 약 150억 원에서 약 169억 원으로 추정하였다.

Implementation of Real Time Visual Servoing Control for Robot Manipulator

  • This paper presents how it is effective to use many features for improving the speed and the accuracy of the visual servo systems. Some rank conditions which relate the image Jacobian and the control performance are derived. It is also proven that the accuracy is improved by increasing the number of features. Effectiveness of the redundant features is evaluated by the smallest singular value of the image Jacobian which is closely related to the accuracy with respect to the world coordinate system. Usefulness of the redundant features is verified by the real time experiments on a Dual-Arm Robot manipulator made in Samsung Electronic Co. Ltd.

  • This paper proposes a wireless EMG-based human-computer interface (HCI) for persons with disabilities. For the HCI, four interaction commands are defined by combining three elevation motions of shoulders such as left, right and both elevations. The motions are recognized by comparing EMG signals on the Levator scapulae muscles with double thresholds. A real-time EMG processing hardware is implemented for acquiring EMG signals and recognizing the motions. To achieve real-time processing, filters such as high- and low-pass filter and band-pass and -rejection filter, and a full rectifier and a mean absolute value circuit are embedded on a board with a high speed microprocessor. The recognized results are transferred to a wireless client system such as a mobile robot via a Bluetooth module. From experimental results using the implemented real-time EMG processing hardware, the proposed wireless EMG-based HCI is feasible for the disabled.

  • In this paper, we consider a new packet scheduling algorithm for real-time traffic in the HSDPA system that has been introduced for the WCDMA system, in order to provide high transmission rates. The objective of the design is to meet the maximum tolerable delay and consider channel assignment based on the received SIR for real-time traffic users. The proposed scheduling algorithm shows that the users are ranked by the ratios of the bits in the buffer to the residual time for transmission as priority order; then the ranked users are assigned certain number of channels based on the SIR value table. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide a lower packet drop rate, and satisfy real time quality of service (QoS) requirements.

  • As we know usually architecture of Korea landscape painting inside, pavilion(Jung-ja) and many-storied building(Ru-gak) have painted mainly. But besides general building that home, mountain fortress wall, temple, royal palace was expressed by a real view landscape painting. The main purpose of this research is to enhance the basis that can understand well tradition architecture by korea landscape painting. To achieve this goal, Even if it is same kind of building, a lot of differences become by material of roof, position of building, expenditure of building. Division of inside and outside is precious data that can know life physiognomy of general peoples. In Structural side, Expression of fabrication and value as data that can know composition and arrangement of plane are important.

아파트의 가격형성 메커니즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Equilibrium-Pricing Mechanism of Apartment)

  • The aim is to get comprehensive view point for the price of apartment. Apartment construction cost is the sun of land cost and building cost. Land price reflects the value of location where building stands. When the gap between price and affordability is narrow enough, effective demand promote apartment construction. The today's trends of rising price, which began in apartment housing, spreads to real estates market and finally overall consumer price. Problem is that price is decided only by supplier's interest. Equilibrium-pricing is common process in housing market. However it is important to review hedonic price and the factor of housing services and focused on the affordability of demanders. AHP analysis was used to study real needs and preference of demanders and dealt with 200 interviewees with brief checklists. We found that social factor is more important than building cost or site development. Especially location of apartment is most important to affect environment quality and accessibility to facilities.

모션 텍스처를 이용한 차량 시뮬레이터의 통합 (A Data Driven Motion Generation for Driving Simulators Using Motion Texture)

  • To improve the reality of motion simulator, the method of data-driven motion generation has been introduced to simply record and replay the motion of real vehicles. We can achieve high quality of reality from real samples, but it has no interactions between users and simulations. However, in character animation, user controllable motions are generated by the database made up of motion capture signals and appropriate control algorithms. In this study, as a tool for the interactive data-driven driving simulator, we proposed a new motion generation method. We sample the motion data from a real vehicle, transform the data into the appropriate data structure(motion block), and store a series of them into a database. While simulation, our system searches and synthesizes optimal motion blocks from database and generates motion stream reflecting current simulation conditions and parameterized user demands. We demonstrate the value of the proposed method through experiments with the integrated motion platform system.

  • In this paper we study the problem of real time support in wireless sensor networks and propose a Real time Geographic Routing Protocol (ReGeo) which routes a packet towards the destination based on a compromise between distance and queue count to reduce traffic concentration wherever it has been determined to be too high and uses Gradient Table to store the route satisfying the delay constraints. We describe our prototype implementation of ReGeo Routing in TOSSIM - a TinyOS mote simulator. The simulation results show that the proposed routing protocol not only increases the packet delivery ratio but also keeps overall End to End Delay under a bounded value.
