  • Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS), one of the most commonly adopted regulation for renewable energy expansion since 2012, has the obvious advantage of inducing competition in power generation source and alleviating the government's financial burden. However, the abuse of credit multipliers and the use of national Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) have resulted in the distortion of RPS as a quantitative control policy. Just as no face value 10 years ago can hold its real value, this paper highlights for the first time that 27.8% of total renewable obligations over the total RPS period were not actually met due to REC inflation and the consequent decline in the value of renewable energy generation. In addition, the distortion of face/real value of REC causes problems in interoperability with other government policies such as RE100 and Emission Trading System.

  • Real-time performance is to return the exact result value to the correct cycle, or to perform the specified work at a certain cycle. Windows does not support real-time performance, so it supports real-time performance using expensive third parties such as RTX and INtime. This paper aims to support real-time performance of Windows through RTiK, a real-time kernel that operates in the form of a device driver in Windows. In Windows 7, RTiK used a timer using local APIC supported by x86 hardware. However, due to the Kernel Patch Protection (KPP) on Windows 10, it became impossible to use a local APIC timer. Therefore, a timer is implemented to inform the determined cycle using Local APIC IPI, and performance measurement is performed to confirm that the cycle operates normally within the error range. This enables real-time performance on Windows 10.

  • There are many factors that influence the image quality of CMOS camera images, among which the image exposure time is an important factor. If the image exposure time is long, the entire image on the screen becomes brighter. If the exposure time is shorter, the entire image becomes darker. When photographing a still image, real time is not required because the automatic exposure system is given sufficient time to obtain an appropriate exposure time. However, if the surroundings and environment change rapidly like the black box of a driving car, the exposure time should be applied in response to real time. To this end, a robust automatic exposure system for real-time performance and ambient light environment is required. An automatic exposure system that has real-time capability and is robust against the ambient light environment is required. we designed a real-time control sysem capable of parallel operation processing through the design of an embedded system using zynq's logic and ARM core, and developed a real-time CMOS automatic exposure system that is robust to noise and converges to a desired target value within 66 ms through PID control.

  • This paper is concerned with the real-time automatic tuning of the positive position feedback controller for smart structures by the genetic algorithms. The genetic algorithms haute proven its effectiveness in searching optimal design parameters without falling into local minimums thus rendering globally optimal solutions. The advantage of the positive position feedback controller is that if it is tuned properly it can enhance the damping value of a target mode without affecting other modes. In this paper, we develop for the first time a real-time algorithm for determining a tuning frequency of the PPF controller based on the genetic algorithms. To this end, the digital PPF control law is downloaded to the DSP chip and a main program, which runs the genetic algorithms in real time, updates the parameter of the controller in real time. Hence, any kind of control including the positive position feedback controller can be used in adaptive fashion in real time. Experimental results show that the real-time tuning of the positive position feedback controller can be achieved successfully. so that vibrations are suppressed satisfactorily.

  • Real estate market has rapidly grown by active use of project financing in the early 2000s. However, many projects have been in trouble due to global economic recession after that period. It is mainly because those projects were pushed forward a business without comprehensive business feasibility analysis. This paper investigated current evaluation system for real estate development projects and then introduced new evaluation system including evaluation factor and criteria for real estate development projects to prevent implementation of the project without business value and to be able to evaluate potential projects in objective manner. This new evaluation system for real estate development projects can be applied to any type of real estate development projects by modifying evaluation items and weighting factor in accordance with the type and characteristics of project. Through the new evaluation system, the evaluation process for real estate development projects will be able to be standardized, be consistent, and the results of evaluation can be accumulated in consistent way.

  • Measurement plays an important role in both school mathematics and real life. Among the measurement areas, length is the first to learn and is the basis for measurement. Time is measured in its own way and is characterized by being the most abstract. This study attempted to analyze elementary mathematics textbooks and representations in real life to examine how the length and time of learning in school mathematics differ from those represented in real life. Based on this, we tried to derive implications for the direction of measurement education and elementary math textbooks. As a result of the analysis, the concept of length was used the same in real life and school mathematics. However, terms such as distance, depth, and height were not defined, and the representation of the approximate value was presented in a fragmentary form. In addition, there were parts where students were likely to feel confused in school mathematics and real life, such as the same units such as 'minutes and seconds' were used in time. Therefore, considering these differences, it is necessary to consider the direction of composition of math textbooks and teaching and learning so that students can connect school mathematics and real life and understand widely about measurement concepts.

  • This study estimated economic value and benefits of Yongsan National Park, which will be constructed by financial investment of the government and objectively estimated the real value of it by understanding the value of the park from a user's view of the park. For this, the value of Yongsan National Park is divided into using value such as carbon reduction and the function of relieving urban heat island as an environmental material and non-using value based on willingness to pay of the public according to the construction of the park. As a result of the analysis, it was found out that the using value of Yongsan National Park would reach 130 million won up to maximum level of 450 million won per year, and the non-using value was analyzed to be worthy of 2,344 won per capita every month. Besides, economic ripple effect that can be expected in the process of the park construction project was analyzed to be a national policy that creates effect on production inducement of 2.6 trillion won and value added of 809.6 billion won and new jobs for 25,620 persons. Considering the value of Yongsan National Park and the effect of the project based on the result of this study, it was found that it could sufficiently secure the validity of implementing the project compared to the financial investment by the government. Therefore, it must be emphasized that diffusion strategy is necessary for national understanding and for a nation to make it understood its appropriateness widely in respect to the construction of Yongsan National Park for the successful construction of Yongsan National Park and to raise its using value in the future.

  • This study examined how much chicken meat was in sausage made with pork. Both real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and internal standard addition were used. Fifty ng of chicken DNA was added to the sausages as an internal standard. The addition of standard DNA increased the amplification efficiency of PCR and confirmed the possibility of quantitative analysis. A QIAamp DNA Micro Kit was used to improve the DNA recovery and amplification efficiency. The density of template DNA and primer were suitable for $3.0{\sim}5.0{\mu}L$ and $0.5{\mu}L$, respectively. Each DNA of pig and chicken was diluted in 10-fold from steps 50 ng to 0.05 ng. The detection limit of both pig and chicken meat was more than 0.05 ng and the correlation coefficient of the standard curve was at least 0.98. The result of the quantitative analysis after heat treatment of 3 samples of pigs and chickens mixed at 70:30 showed a 5.7% difference (64.3:35.7) between the expected value and measured value. The quantitative value was changed by affecting the DNA according to the heat treatment ($70^{\circ}C$, 10 min). An analysis of the pork and chicken content in sausages showed that it was difficult to detect chicken meat and the quantitative value of DNA according to the Ct value was very low. On the other hand, when adding standard material (50 ng of chicken DNA) to the sausages, the Ct value decreased gradually with increasing chicken mixing ratio. Thus, the mixing ratio of chicken in sausages could be estimated.
