  • In this paper, dynamic GTS scheduling method based on IEEE 802.15.4 is proposed for wireless control system considering reliability and real-time property. The proposed methods can guarantee a transmission of real-time periodic and sporadic data within the limited time frame in factory environment. The superframe of IEEE 802.15.4 is used for the dynamic transmission method of real-time mixed traffic (periodic data, sporadic data, and non real-time message). By separating CFP and CAP properly, the periodic, sporadic, and non real-time messages are transmitted effectively and guarantee real-time transmission within a deadline. The simulation results show the improvement of real-time performance of periodic and sporadic data at the same time.

  • The number and use of Internet connected devices has dramatically increased in the last several years. Therefore many services synchronizing data in real-time is increasing such as mail, calendar and storage service. This service provides convenience to users. However, after devices are seized, the data could be changed because of characteristic about real-time synchronization. Therefore digital investigation could be difficult by this service. This work investigates the traces on each local device and proposes a method for the preservation of real-time synchronized data. Based on these, we propose the procedures of real-time synchronization data.

  • Landslides pose significant threats to many countries globally, yet the development and implementation of effective landslide early warning systems (LEWS) remain challenging due to multifaceted complexities spanning scientific, technological, and political domains. Addressing these challenges demands a holistic approach. Technologically, integrating thresholds, such as rainfall thresholds, with real-time data within accessible, open-source software stands as a promising solution for LEWS. This article introduces LandScient_EWS, a PHP-based program tailored to address this need. The software facilitates the comparison of real-time measured data, such as rainfall, with predefined landslide thresholds, enabling precise calculations and graphical representation of real-time landslide advisory levels across diverse spatial scales, including regional, basin, and hillslope levels. To illustrate its efficacy, the program was applied to a case study in Medellin, Colombia, where a rainfall event on August 26, 2008, triggered a shallow landslide. Through pre-defined rainfall intensity and duration thresholds, the software simulated advisory levels during the recorded rainfall event, utilizing data from a rain gauge positioned within a small watershed and a single grid cell (representing a hillslope) within that watershed. By identifying critical conditions that may lead to landslides in real-time scenarios, LandScient_EWS offers a new paradigm for assessing and responding to landslide hazards, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of LEWS. The findings underscore the software's potential to streamline the integration of rainfall thresholds into both existing and future landslide early warning systems.

  • Rendering of 3D terrain data in real-time is difficult because of its large scale. So, it is necessary to use level-of-detail(LOD) that uses fewer data, but makes almost similar image to the original. We present an algorithm for real-time LOD generation and rendering of 3D terrain data. The algorithm applies wavelet transform to the terrain data, and then generates quadtree based view-dependent LOD using wavelet coefficients that are the output of wavelet transform. It also uses frame-to-frame coherence and view culling for high frame rates.

  • It is demanding to receive information of data in real time anywhere and analyze it with meaningful data. Research on the platform for such analysis is actively underway. In this paper, we try to find out what are important factors in solving the problems of collecting and analyzing IoT data in real time. How much better than existing data collection methods and analytical methods can be the basis for judging the value of the data. It is important to accurately collect and store data more quickly and quickly from many sensors in real time in real time, and analytical methods that can derive values from the stored data. Therefore, an important requirement of the analysis platform in the IoT environment is to process large amount of data in real time and to centralize and manage it.

  • 3D display of spacecraft motion by using telemetry data received from satellite in real-time is described. Telemetry data are converted to the appropriate form for 3-D display by the real-time preprocessor. Stored playback telemetry data also can be processed for the display. 3D display of spacecraft motion by using real telemetry data provides intuitive comprehension of spacecraft dynamics.

  • In the Internet, multimedia data transfer is hard to guarantee the characteristics of the Real-Time because of the Best-Effort of the nature of IP, then additional mechanism is applied to multimedia application for real-time data. In this paper, we introduce the nature of multimedia and the necessary facility for real-time protocol. We propose protocol layer, which has necessary function above mentioned and offer the end-to-end transfer far real-time data. Also, the proposed protocol perform a next low operation: 1) a required information for QoS control by using Feedback mechanism is obtained from sender, 2) divided a transferred packet by delay and loss priority. 3) recognized the low service models, and 4) decided a bandwidth and QoS according to a network state

  • Wireless network technologies are becoming more widely used in industrial environment. The industrial communication system requires a real-time delivery of messages. The sensors periodically senses the physical environment and wants to deliver the data in real-time to the sink. This paper proposes a real-time protocol for periodic messages on wireless sensor and actor networks to be used in industrial communications. The proposed protocol delivers the data message using the shortest path from the source and the nearest actor. The protocol considers the energy consumption by reducing the number of broadcast messages during flooding. We have evaluated the performance of the proposed protocol using QualNet simulator. The simulation results show that the data messages have been delivered in real-time and the number of broadcast messages is reduced from 90% to 35% compared the existing protocols.
