  • The purposes of this study were firstly to optimize the recipe for iced cookies by cooking with five different ingredient levels of $Jinuni\;bean(X_1),\;butter(X_2)\;&\;sugar(X_3)$ and secondly to analyze the chemical and sensory test results by using RSM(Response Surface Methodology). As a result of this test, water activity decreased with increasing contents of butter or sugar, while hydrophilic browning decreased independently with increasing sugar content. There was a positive correlation(p<.001) between specific gravity and hardness, although the result was not uniform due to the interaction of each factor. There was a negative correlation(p<.001) between the spread ratio and gravity or hardness, and it tended to increase with increasing each content. Color value L and color value a had positive correlation (p<.001) and the value tended to decrease with increasing the quantity of Jinuni bean. Generally, the strength of the cookies showed a saddle point at the peak of the 3d graph. As a result of sensory evaluation, the color was sensitive to the contents of sugar and Jinuni bean, the texture was sensitive to the contents of butter and sugar, and the taste and overall quality were sensitive to all three factors. Color had a positive correlation(p<.05) with the taste, texture and overall quality. There were high positive correlations(p<.001) between the taste, texture and overall quality. The preference data showed an up-swollen, parabolic shape in the center of the 34 graph, which enabled the optimum value to be determined and the optimum mixture ratio which fulfilled all sensory items was Jinuni bean 93g, butter 188.5g and sugar 155g, indicating a substitution of flour by $44\%$.

  • Recently, wireless LAN circumstance is being widely deployed in Public spots. Many People use Portable equipments such as PDA and laptop computer for multimedia applications, and also demand of mobility support is increasing. However, handoff latency is inevitably occurred between both APs when clients move from one AP to another. To reduce handoff latency. in this paper, we suggest WFH(Weighted Frequent Handoff) using effective data structure. WFH improves cache hit ratio using a new cache replacement algorithm considering the movement pattern of users. It also reduces unessential duplicate traffics. Our algorithm uses FHR(Frequent Handoff Region) that can change pre-authentication lesion according to QoS based user level, movement Pattern and Neighbor Graph that dynamically captures network movement topology.

  • This study produced smelting slag through the reproduction of an ancient iron manufacturing technique, with the aim of facilitating a comprehensive understanding of the process by analyzing the slag components. The research suggests an interpretation method using the ratio of the subcomponents relative to the main slag components as an alternative to existing methods. We investigated the component source within the smelting furnace from which the slag is derived by developing an understanding of the tendency between slags. Based on bivariate graph and triangular coordinate data analysis, it was found that a slag can be categorized according to its components. The groups were identified as the ore slag group(centered on the ore), and the clay slag group(centered on clay and granite soil). This research determined that it is possible to estimate the components derived from the slag, depending on which group they belong to or resemble, as shown in Figure 4~7. It was found that a comprehensive understanding of the ratio between the components was more accurate than a simple analysis of the contents, for the interpretation of ancient iron manufacturing processes. This is based on the fact that a higher ratio of $TiO_2$ was detected by the components analysis, and an analysis of all the slag showed that the value of $CaO/SiO_2$ ratio was lower than 0.4, which corresponds to the reproduction experiment condition in which flux was not used.

  • In this study, a crack closure behavior of Al-alloy 5052-H38 was investigated. The fatigue test was performed by the four-point bending test under the contast amplitude load. Stress ratio R was changed from-1.0 to 0.5. To mcasure the fatigue crack opening point, the graph of load vs. subtracted displacement by computer program was obtained from the X - Y plotter. In order to gain the displacement data, a strain gage was attached at the back surface against the notched side. Uslng the conception of crack closure and influence of on crack growth rate a model for crack growth rate is developed for Al-alloy 5052-H38.

  • This paper has the objects of deciding dynamic instability regions of thick plates by finite element method and providing kinematic design data for mats and slabs of building structures. In this paper, dynamic stability analysis of tapered opening thick plate is done by use of Serendipity finite element with 8 nodes considering shearing strain of plate. To verify this finite element method, buckling stress and natural frequencies of thick pate with or without in-plane stress are compared with existing solutions. The results are as follow that this finite element solutions with $4{\times}4$ meshes are shown the error of maximum 0.56% about existing solutions, and obtained dynamic instability graph according with variation of opening positions.

  • Spray characteristics of a unlike triplet injector were investigated experimentally. Spray images and SMD of droplet were measured to evaluate the spray characteristics injected by liquid/gas combinations. G-L-G(Gas-Liquid-Gas), L-G-L(Liquid-Gas-Liquid) type of injector were used by changing the gas and liquid feed lines. The SMD graph shows that the droplet sizes decrease in the out of radial direction at a fixed gas Reynolds number. The SMD value of decreasing tendency shows that the more ethyl alcohol ratio increase, the more SMD value decrease.

  • In the past a few decades, various kinds of cells have been examined in laboratories all over the world, and their interesting results have been expressed through various methods in journal publications. For a representative example, the increment or reduction of cell numbers during a bio-related experimental process has been demonstrated using the hazard ratio in survival analysis or in the form of a graph. In addition, the condition of cells such as their normality or abnormality would be indicated by the images of the cell nuclei or membranes treated with proper fluorescent labeling. However, the above methods seem to not be quantitative but rather qualitative assessments, which might be difficult to provide people with the eidetic understanding through parameters or numerical data. With adequate suggestions on any indices enabling the explanation for cell conditions, some analyses may be underestimated due to the lack of objectiveness caused by merely linguistic evaluation for the cell conditions, not numerally scientific interpretation. Therefore, in this study, we would suggest some indices enabling quantitative analysis on the cellular conditions.

  • Relatively few countries provide separate bicycle lanes for cyclists. Hence, tools for suggesting cycling routes are essential for a safe and pleasant cycling experience. This study aims to develop a mobile application to build cycling routes based on user preferences, specifically location, search radius, ride distance, and number of optimal routes. Our application calls the Strava API to retrieve Strava cycling segments crowdsourced from the cycling community. Then, it creates a graph consisting of the start and end points of these segments. Beginning from a user-specified location, the depth-first search algorithm (DFS) is applied to find routes that conform to the user's preferences. Next, a set of optimal routes is obtained by computing a trade-off ratio for every discovered route. This ratio is calculated from the lengths of all segments and the lengths of all connecting paths. The connected routes can be displayed on a map on an Android device or exported as a GPX file to a bike computer. Future work must be performed to improve the design of the user interface and user experience.

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to compare the width ratio of maxillary anterior teeth according to age in the Korean population and to evaluate the maxillary central incisor width-to-length (W/L) ratio, given differences in age and gender. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Ninety-three Korean adults were divided into 3 groups (n = 31) by age. Group I was 20 - 39 years old, Group II was 40 - 59 years old, and Group III was over 60 years of age. After taking an impression and a cast model of the maxillary arch, the anterior teeth width ratio and central incisor W/L ratio were calculated from standard digital images of the cast models using a graph paper with a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera. The calculated ratios were compared among all groups and central incisor W/L ratio were analyzed according to age and gender. All comparative data were statistically analyzed with one-sample t-tests, one-way ANOVAs with Tukey tests, and independent t-tests. RESULTS. No significant differences in maxillary anterior teeth ratios were found among the age groups. The maxillary central incisor W/L ratios in Group III were the greatest and were significantly higher than those in the other groups. The central incisor W/L ratio of men was higher than that of women in Group II. CONCLUSION. Maxillary anterior teeth width ratios were similar in all age groups in the Korean population. The maxillary central incisor was observed as worn teeth in the group over 60 years of age, and a significant difference between genders was found in 40 to 50 year olds.

  • In this paper IoT/WSN(Internet of Things/Wireless Sensor Network) has been modeled with a random geometric graph. And a performance of the decentralized code for the efficient storage of data which is generated from WSN has been analyzed. WSN with n=100 or 200 has been modeled as a random geometric graph and has been simulated for their performance analysis. When the number of the total nodes of WSN is n=100 or 200, the successful decoding probability as decoding ratio ${\eta}$ depends more on the number of source nodes k rather than the number of nodes n. Especially, from the simulation results we can see that the successful decoding rate depends greatly on k value than n value and the successful decoding rate was above 70% when $${\eta}{\leq_-}2.0$$. We showed that the number of operations of BP(belief propagation) decoding scheme increased exponentially with k value from the simulation of the number of operations as a ${\eta}$. This is probably because the length of the LT code becomes longer as the number of source nodes increases and thus the decoding computation amount increases greatly.
