  • Raspberry Pi is in the UK (Paspberry Pi) Foundation created a compact / Cheap PC and was developed as part of the educational project. RCA connection jack and has been released in March 2012 was also sold out in one hour. Raspberry Pi Linux kernel based operating system called Raspberry Pi using optimized Raspbian Debian-based operating systems are often used to be free. Raspberry Pi is currently in the field of IoT with the board quite Cubie limelight and Cubie board holds more data. Arduino is quite easy to reach and access to the avr but impossible to include any custom code associated to a library and customize drawbacks must be solved only. Raspberry Pi using the Raj Caribbean and limitations of low cost, but there is a small output. So, for a combination of the two, with GPOI was reminiscent of hardware control. In this paper, using GPIO Cooking Hacks RaspberryPi board for controlling input and output by using the shield is insufficient expansion raspberry pie was confirmed that the good operation was verified.

  • Minecraft Pi edition is a distinct version of Minecraft developed for Raspberry Pi and was mostly used as an educational instrument for upcoming programmers. In this paper, the basic method to control GPIO pin of Raspberry Pi 4 board using python 3 and Minecraft Pi software was implemented. The implemented scheme can be easily applicable to the area of educational platform and metaverse application if a plenty of python libraries embedded in raspberry pi and excellent gaming capability of Minecraft Pi software are efficiently merged to meet application-specific hardware and software requirements.

  • Recently, the various types of data are began to increase. In order to manage the data efficiently, a variety of cloud services are being made. However, while providing a cloud service, the problem is the cost and waste a lot of human power to manage the data that is generated and managed by the server. To solve this problem, it is build the cloud environment using a single board computer with Raspberry pi. In this paper, we used Raspberry pi as a cloud server to provide services for the users. And we construct a Total Server to manage the generated data. It can separate the processing of data and the provision of services. We ensure the efficient operation by building a cloud environment with Raspberry pi and by managing the data which generated in cloud environment with the total server.

  • 본 논문에서 핵심적으로 연구할 내용은 기존 논문에서 소개된 BERT-base 모델의 경량화 버전인 DistilBERT 모델을 임베디드 시스템(Raspberry PI 5) 환경에 탑재 및 구현하는 것이다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템(Raspberry PI 5) 환경에 탑재한 DistilBERT 모델과 BERT-base 모델 간의 성능 비교를 수행하였다. 성능 평가에 사용한 데이터셋은 SQuAD(Standford Question Answering Dataset)로 질의응답 태스크에 대한 데이터셋이며, 성능 검증 지표로는 EM(Exact Match) Score와 F1 Score 그리고 추론시간을 사용하였다. 실험 결과를 통해 DistilBERT와 같은 경량화 모델이 임베디드 시스템(Raspberry PI 5)과 같은 환경에서 온 디바이스 AI(On-Device AI)로 잘 작동함을 증명하였다.

  • In this paper we present IoT compliant HD Digital Signage Controller design using Raspberry Pi. Nowadays, the digital signage system have gained increasing popularity and rapidly growing communications medium that offers a wide range of exciting ways with customers, enhance brand awareness, increase sales and margin uplift by replacing the traditional static signage system. This paper presents a cost-effective IoT based HD Digital Signage Controller (DSC) using R-Pi computer that can use various kinds of displays in order to make the system as efficient and affordable as possible to provide advertisement or other relevant information to people in public areas. The system is designed in such way the information about surrounding related place is taken through sensors and directly uploaded to the internet, and thus can be accessed anytime and displayed on screens by using Raspberry Pi that serves as controller in the system. The design and implementation of the system developed by using python programming language and its hardware consists of sensors, Arduino, Raspberry Pi 3 model B board and the displays. The main targets of this study are build a cost effective Digital Signage system as well as broadcasting information at display contents in public areas and control those digital signs.

  • The upcoming 'creativity society' beyond the knowledge information era requires 'knowledge producers' being capable of expressing their own ideas creatively, rather than 'knowledge consumers'. These days, in the computing environment, physical computing tools which support learners' productive activities beyond their simple function of operating computers are emerging. Among them, Raspberry Pi is exemplary. The computing PC worthy $35 is economic and supports implementation of interactive physical system through the H/W and programming control to detect and respond to the analog world. As a fundamental study of educational application of Raspberry Pi at elementary school and Raspberry Pi, this work was to look into characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, and application examples of the computing tool. Also this researcher conducted a survey with teachers in field to investigate the suitability of Raspberry Pi as a tool in the category of 'understanding of information devices and to explore their awareness of Raspberry Pi. As a result, it was analyzed that Raspberry Pi was a learning tool to support about 74% of educational contents and that teachers showed positive replies in all categories of the survey of their awareness.

  • With the advent of tiny and inexpensive computer systems like Raspberry Pi, it has become possible to construct an experimental environment of MANETs (Mobile Ad hoc Networks) at a relatively low cost. In this paper, we implement a node of MANETs with a Raspberry Pi equipped with two 802.11 wireless LAN cards and dynamic routing software running on it. In an outdoor MANETs environment with moving mobile nodes automatically rebuilding broken routes, we conducted a real-time video streaming experiment over the MANET. The video stream is transmitted from a node with a video camera installed on it to another node through the route established dynamically. Each node is equipped with a display device, with which the current status of the node can be checked out. We also implemented software that automatically collects data stored in each node and analyzes the performance of the MANETs. Through this experiment, we could evaluate the performance of realistic video streaming service in a MANETs environment.

A Study on Smart Door Lock using Internet of Things (IoT를 이용한 스마트 도어락에 관한 연구)

  • The research is on progressing to operate digital door lock with the method to guarantee the security and safety in the meantime to use digital door lock conveniently using Internet of Things (IoT) standardizing various service providing technology using IoT in home network currently. In this study, compose home network interconnecting Raspberry-PI and web server reflection this trend and composed the system to control the door lock after connect Arduino substituting converter function. Making Raspberry-PI using dynamic IP address using existing open source easily maintain DNS information and possible to connect internet network in home network ethernet and finally, making the smartphone can control door lock remotely entering designated address after connect the internet. The connection between home network and Arduino is executed by Raspberry-PI and bluetooth pairing as 1:1 and make random user's access to be impossible. Especially, to make open/close the door lock with smartphone not by using password on the keypad or using RFID card is judged as the method increasing the security make random user's access to be impossible and also increased the usefulness making remote control to be possible.

  • With people's continuous research and exploration in the field of artificial intelligence, more relatively mature artificial intelligence technology is applied in people's daily life. Mirrors are the most commonly used daily necessities in life, and it should be applied to artificial intelligence. The research results of this paper show that the smart mirror designed based on the raspberry pi displays weather, temperature, greetings, and has a human-mirror interaction function. The research method of this paper uses the Raspberry pi 3B + as the core controller and Google Assistant as the intelligent control. When connected to the network via Raspberry Pi's own WiFi, the mirror can automatically display and update time, weather and news information features. You can wake up the Google Assistant using keywords, then control the mirror to play music, remind the time, It implements the function of smart mirror voice interaction. Also, all the hardware used in this study is modular assembly. Later, it is convenient for user to assemble by himself later. It is suitable for market promotion at an affordable price.

  • In this paper, we take advantage of the SEN Remote HMI App as a tool based on Raspberry Pi server for the smart home control. This is a smart home control system built in an open and a low-cost Raspberry Pi as a server, and take advantage of Android-based graphical programming software SEN Remote HMI. If you build it based system expansion and additional works interface via the Raspberry Pi and Arduino, it is expected to be extended to the Internet of Things (IoT) enabling environment for the implementation of smart home.
