The communication transmission engineering plays the most important role in electrical communications engineering. Recently, it has been making remarkable progress as an infrastructure supporting informationaged society. Specially, the start of television conference and service of high speed digital transmission can be said it is announcing a raising curtain of high speed broad band age. Together with high speed broad band service needs a capacity as much as several or several hundred times of telephone with one circuit, various kinds of service forms are anticipated to emerge, it is anticipated to give a big impact to the way of future communications network. At present, telecommunication network is transforming telephone voice information by analog technology into a flexible higher system disposable of a variety of information such as pictures or data other than telephone by the introduction of digital technology. Consequently, the development of the hereafter for the following respective technologies is desired.

Egg grading machine is used in poultry raising industry to classify eggs by their weight and to pack up them. Packer holder mechanism is a main part of the egg grading machine, of which role is to take eggs fallen from conveyor belt, and afterward to transfer eggs vertically to mold tray. The vertical motion of packer holder is usually driven by slider-crank mechanism or cam. This paper describes development of the cam in packer holder based on kinematic analysis of packer holder mechanism and measurement of acceleration and noise of the cam to verify performance of it. Several cams that are designed and manufactured by the author of this paper according to different design specification are compared to determine the best solution for egg transfer in the packer holder mechanism.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the adjustment process of patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS). Method: The data were collected from May 2007 to February 2008 through individual in-depth interviews with 4 ALS patients. The data collection and analysis were performed according to grounded theory methodology, as suggested by Strauss and Corbin. Results: 'Accepting the sick role' was the central phenomenon, which was derived from 'perceiving an intial symptom'. Therefore, the adjustment pattern was represented by using the different strategies, which were 'raising hope' and 'hoping to dye comfortably'. For taking a view of the future, ALS patients adopted the strategies of 'living positively', 'being treated hardly', 'joining in the experience', 'depending on the absolute being', 'recognizing the dying process'. Conclusion: This study provides guidance for the development of nursing interventions for patients with ALS.

The waiting time makes the customer be bored, and is the reason to obstruct the service quality evaluation. The managing waiting time appears to be the most important task, in accordance of physical inconvenience especially because the customers of the medical service are supplied in the unstabled status. Therefore, necessity and object of managing waiting time in the medical service were presented through the definition of waiting time and the consideration about preceding study, and the main cause of the waiting time was analyzed, furthermore the measure of actually indicated waiting time and various ideas for reducing the time were presented lastly as selecting a case study participative hospital for achieving the study object. This study will be one of role model as a solution to reduce the waiting time in each medical institution.

From long time ago, stairs are performed the central role of vertical circulation system in architectural planning for convenience of human. The purpose of this study is to find the spacial characteristics of stairs in architectural space. Two methods In this study are discussed. First, it is to extract the formal elements in its stairs shape raising an impulse of visual-perceptible recognition. Second, it is to analysis its characteristic through relationship between stairs and spacial elements. In conclusion, the characteristics of stairs in architectural space have as follows 1) spatial connection - to connect between space and other space or masses; 2) spatial separation - to separate between inner space and other space; 3) openness or closeness of space; 4) directed-tention of space.

Nowadays, more than ever before, many researchers take much interest in raising the efficiency of a power converter. In Flyback converter, the resistor of RCD snubber consumes the stored energy in leakage inductor. It plays a role in degrading the overall system efficiency. Thus, in this paper, a novel energy recovery circuit of Flyback converter is proposed to improve the efficiency. The operational principle of the proposed circuit is explained in detail. And, it is vilified through the simulation and experimental results.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new infectious disease rapidly spreading around the world, raising global public health concerns. Radiological examinations play a crucial role in the early diagnosis and follow-up of COVID-19. Cross infection among patients and radiographers can occur in radiology departments due to the close and frequent contact of radiographers with confirmed or potentially infected patients in a relatively confined room during radiological workflow. This article outlines our experience in the emergency management procedure and infection control of the radiology department during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The purpose of this study is to provide diverse points of view to understand the low fertility issue of Korean society. For this phenomenological qualitative study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 14 married couples(28 persons) all raising three children. Participants were asked about overall family and work life, child care role performance, thoughts about child rearing, and their sociocultural context. Interview data were explored based on 6 analyzing steps offered by S, J, Talyor and R. Bogdan(1984). Most participants of this study were formed positive perceptions about having three children. Parents' positive perception was closely related with their attitude of not worrying too much about their children's future as well as child caring contexts around them. Parents' perception about having three children was also linked with their child care role construction process. In detail, parents with more positive perceptions tended to increase their level of child care involvement. This was particularly true for fathers. Mother and father's job situation emerged as an important factor to shape their child care involvement. In addition, child care attitude of people around them explained father's child care involvement. Applying these qualitative results, we first expect to provide detailed ideas about lives with three children in Korea. Second, based on our study findings, a more realistic and helpful policy to help the low fertility problem could be developed. Lastly, we also hope to provide helpful phenomenological qualitative research about low fertility issues of Korea.

Background: In modern society, the number of households raising companion animals increases, and the market for veterinary medicines is expanding even more. This study aims to investigate the perception of companion animal lovers' veterinary medicines, the necessity of specific guidance by pharmacists for veterinary medicines, the role of pharmacists at veterinary pharmacies, and ways to fulfill that role. Methods: This study evaluated veterinary medicines and medication guidance through Google online questionnaire targeting pet-lovers from December 20, 2021, until January 19, 2022. The questions consist of 1) characteristics of petlovers, 2) purchase history and drug recognition of veterinary drugs, 3) use of veterinary vaccines, 4) use of diagnostic kits, and 5) guidance of veterinary medicines by local pharmacists. Results: The respondents' experience purchasing veterinary drugs was as high as 94.4%. The most purchased drug was heartworm-preventing products, and vaccination was performed mainly at veterinary clinics (veterinarians). The respondents primarily purchased veterinary medicines for companion animals at veterinary hospitals and did not know the name of the drugs which they bought. In addition, respondents expected to receive specific information on veterinary medicines from pharmacists. Conclusion: As the number of veterinary pharmacies in the community will increase with the expansion of the companion animal market, pharmacists should play their role as experts in veterinary medicines through systematic and continuous professional education.

In this study, focusing on science education in the future society, we explored students' key competencies to be cultivated for the future society, and the role and PCK expertise necessary for science teachers, who are the main agents of competency-based education to nurture these key competencies. A survey conducted among earth science teachers across the country results in 105 valid responses being obtained. The research results are discussed in terms of students' key competencies to be nurtured for the future society, the role and the expertise of science teachers required for competency-based education, and the structural relationship between the teacher role and teacher expertise. We also conducted network analysis to examine the relationship between student competency and teacher expertise, and the structure between the teacher's role and expertise. Main results include that communication and collaboration skills are the most important for students in the future society as core competencies. For science teachers, providing opportunities for collaboration-oriented activities are deemed as the most important. Regarding the structural relationship between the teacher's role and the teacher's expertise, there is a clear relationship with roles such as providing opportunities for collaboration-oriented activities and utilizing various materials and contents in relation to the expertise related to the science teaching practice. Based on the results, ways to promote student's agency based on raising teachers' awareness of the student's competencies, the inter-relatedness of the teacher's role and the teacher's expertise, and the totality of teachers' expertise were suggested.
