Recently the environment which besieges distribution system is changing suddenly. With opening the distribution market together the advanced various nations new multinational discount stores are introduced and the competition from this market is growing in intensity. Like this change is raising the recognition of the enterprises against the strategy importance of the distribution channel. Consequently, from under competing which is deepened from the hazard where the discount point industry exists what, it will not be able to do the customer-oriented management which it sees. To lead a customer satisfaction finally and it is important to put out. As only low price standing sale it will not be able to create a competitive advantage and raising the quality also it is demanded with the diversification of product assortment together. It does a customer loyalty degree further firmly and compared to the long-range strategy is necessary.

Fire is one of the environmental parameters affecting the structure causing element internal forces to change, as well as reducing the strength of the materials. One of the common types of floors in tall steel structures is the steel concrete composite slab. Shear connectors are used in steel and concrete composite beam in various shapes also has played significant role in a burning fire event of building with a steel concrete composite beam. The current study has reviewed the effects of temperature raising on the angle connector behavior through the use of push out tests and monotonic static force. The results have shown (1) the ductility of the samples is acceptable based on EC4 standard; (2) temperature raising has reduced the stiffness; (3) the shear ductility increment; and (4) the shear capacity reduction. Also, the amount of angle shear connector resistance has been decreased from 18.5% to 41% at ambient temperature up to $850^{\circ}C$.

This study was conducted to develop the homemade soil media adequate to raising rice seedlings for machine transplanting. A raising experiment of rice seedlings was tested on a newly developed soil medium made mainly from briquette ash compared to ones of infertile red earth and fertile paddy loams. Dry weight of rice seedlings at 36 days after seeding was slighly lower in the plot of briquette ash that in soils, however, it was quite good in the plot of briquette ash mixed with zeolite and diatomaceous earth. pH in soil media was high in briquette ash and also high in soils mixed compost compared with out compost treatment, resulting in higher occurrence of damping off or physiological disorder. Good rice seedlings could be raised in soil media without compost and briquette ash mixed with zeolite diatomaceous earth.

The objective of this study was to develop a new technique to control crown form of Hiscus syriacus to be used for an upright street tree with a single stem. Fertilization and raising the clear-bole length were the main treatments to compare the diameter and height growth of this species. The trees maintained with clear-bole length of 100, 150, and 200cm showed diameter growth of 15.7. 13.8, and 10.8mm, respectively, indicating the reduced diameter growth of trees with increasing clear-bole length, which is known as a typical characteristics in tending trees in silviculture. The effects of fertilization was not shown in this study. At the end of the two-year study from 1999 to 2,000, optimum diameter growth was obtained with the treatments of clear-bole length of 80-120cm, or 121-150cm. It is concluded that height and clear-bole length should be considered first in raising Hibiscus syriacus for street trees. Further study may be needed to obtain the effects of fertilization and raising the clear-bole length on uprightness of this species.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of leg raising and peripheral excercise on recovery of the patients who were applied with dexmedetomidine for their dental surgery. Methods: There were two groups, the experimental group (n=35) and control group (n=35), in this study. We checked blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, sedation level and symptoms such as dizziness and somnolence every 30 minutes. These parameters were assessed throughout the participants' recovery room stay. Leg raising and peripheral excercise were conducted in the experimental group in the recovery room. We have conducted chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, t-test, ANOVA, and ANCOVA to compare the measured parameters in both groups. Results: The experimental group showed a significant elevation of mean arterial blood pressure, and mitigation of somnolence, sedation and dizziness compared to the control group. Conclusion: Leg raising and peripheral exercise is effective to expedite recovery in the patients who were applied with dexmedetomidine for their dental surgery.

Objective: The present study examined the perspectives of grandparents raising their grandchildren in an attempt to better understand grandparents' child-rearing experience while providing kinship foster care to their primary-grade grandchildren. Methods: Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews with eight grandparents who have raised one or two primary-grade (ages 8-10) grandchildren using a qualitative approach. Results: First, the participants viewed the reason for their kinship foster care as a failure for caring for their own children and accepted the present grandparent-care provision as their responsibility. Second, the participants communicated constant struggles with their own health and grandchild-care as well as positive/negative emotions associated with the care provision. Third, most of the participants did not fully understand the developmental needs of their primary-grade grandchildren. Fourth, the participants articulated concerns for their primary-grade grandchildren's learning, peer interactions, school adjustment, and extra-curricular activities. Lastly, the participants all agreed on hoping to raise grandchildren with good personality traits as members of a society and to have them fill the gap from the loss of their parents. Conclusion: Although most participants accepted the current circumstances as their obligation, they still noted difficulties in child-care provision. Given the developmental needs of grandchildren and the resource needs of grandparents, proper and continuous intervention approaches should be developed/provided.
