터널내 자갈도상제도의 자갈도상매트 시공 후 진동 저감 효과에 대한 연구 (A Study on Effect of Vibration Reduction with Ballast Mat of Ballasted Track in Tunnel)

  • 고속화 되어가는 열차의 주행으로 인한 동적인 힘에 의해 자갈도상궤도에서는 구조물의 피로가 증가하여 내구성이 저하되고 있으며 자갈의 세굴화로 인한 침하에 의해 궤도의 유지보수주기가 짧아지고 있다. 더욱이 자갈도상 궤도로 구성된 터널 철도 주변의 주거지역에서는 철도 진동 문제로 민원이 증가하고 있다. 자갈도상궤도에서 이러한 문제가 발생시 에는 기존의 자갈도상궤도구조를 이용하되 유지보수 및 진동을 저감시킬 수 있는 구조로서 터널 내 일 구간에 자갈도상매트를 설치한다. 본 논문에서는 터널 내 자갈도상궤도의 자갈 도상매트 설치구간과 비 설치구간에서 측정한 진동의 크기를 통행열차별로 비교함으로서 자갈도상매트의 진동저감효과를 비교 분석하였다.

자갈궤도용 침목방진패드의 수직 스프링강성 시험기법에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Spring Stiffness Test Method of under Sleeper Pad for Ballasted Track)

  • Ballasted gravel will be damaged or worn by the repetitive train load. And these damages of ballast gravel could be increased by increasing vehicle speed. Therefore, various techniques for reducing the ballast pressure have been proposed, such as the attached pad type of sleeper bottom for ballasted track. In this study, spring stiffness test method were proposed to evaluate the performance of under sleeper pad for ballasted track. Standard ballast plate(SBP) was developed to simulate the ballast gravel and compared with the foreign test results. Experimental results showed a trend similar to the previous studies according to various loading plate type. specimen type(Type A, Type B) differences in spring stiffness according to hardness were not significant. Also, the FSP (Flat steel plate) - shaped jig is about 80% of the spring stiffness was greater than SBP. Therefore, to evaluate the actual spring stiffness of under sleeper pad for ballasted track, it was important to adopted the appropriate spring stiffness test method using the SBP to simulate actual field conditions.

콘크리트궤도 유지보수기준 정립을 위한 연구방향 (Research directions for maintenance criteria in Slab Track)

  • The Ballast Track has been widely applied in traditionally due to low initial cost and abundant elastic property. But the disadvantages of Ballast track are; labor-intensive and costly maintenance, weak in high-speed and heavy axial load, in additionally need wide cross section of tunnel and massive substructure in viaduct. Therefore, recent applications tend to more and more towards slab track such as Gyeungbu high speed rail and existing line. The slab track increased the stability, resistance and durability of track, and save maintenance cost compare to the Ballast Track. But the slab track have weakness of track elongation by sub-ballast differential settlement and that threat safety of train operation. Therefor the slab track need to prevent cracks in concrete ballast for insure the durability of slab track. In this paper, review main items and its expected effects of the slab track maintenance standards that control sub-ballast settlement and concrete ballast cracks.

포장궤도 구조결정을 위한 현장상태 조사 (The Investigation of the In-Situ state to Determine the paved Track Structure)

  • Recently, the development of paved track is required as a Low-maintenance of conventional line. The most important factor of paved track is stability and applicability. In this method, the ballast is grouted with mortar so that the ballast can turn into a structure like slab. This method can be subdivided into the followings. One is the method with switching the ballast, and the other is without switching the ballast. The ordinary and actual states of the ballast and roadbed were investigated to evaluate the applicability of the paved track structure in this study, and various In-situ tests were applied. Non-destructive tests such as GPR, SASW, FWD were used, and bearing capacity of roadbed, depth of the ballast, and deterioration, penetration, and contamination of the ballast were focused. The result of this investigation was utilized in the selection of optimal paved track structure and data for preliminary design.

  • The ballast, one of track components, plays an essential role as intermedium in transmitting train load to subgrade safely, and the deterioration of ballast directly effects the growth of track irregularity. So far, gravel fining of ballast track was mainly related to the repetition of train loads, but was gradually increased with using MTT(Multiple Tie Tamper) recently. Therefore, in this study, an evaluation of the abrasion and crush process of ballast particles was performed with outdoor field test by MTT works. From this study, the amount of abrasion and crush of ballast particles appeared to increase linearly with MTT works, and the gradient of particle size distribution curve appeared to deviate gradually from a criterion of aggregated ballast size distribution in high-speed railroad.

  • The ballast or other objects may be located on the rail road by a lump of ice, repairing operation on the track, or the strong gust due to the high speed running of the train. When a train operated in this condition, it causes serious damages to the wheel, train, and structures near the track, or the secondary ballast flying. To remove these objects safely, a ballast blower is suggested which was attached under the train. Firstly, the numerical analyses are investigated to find out the basic flow characteristics of the ballast blower. Next, the performance of the ballast blower is verified by wind tunnel experiments. Through these studies, it is expected that the ballast blower can be applied practically.

  • 최근 경부고속철도 자갈도상 구간의 일부에서 침하가 발생되고 이로 인하여 열차의 안전 및 운행속도와 승차감 저하라는 문제가 발생하였다. 따라서 이 문제를 해결하고 KTX 열차 운행을 정상화하기 위한 긴급대책이 요구된 적이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 현장의 요구에 대처하기 위해 철도노반 단층영상화 기법을 도입하게 되었다. 철도노반 단층영상화 기법은 철도노반의 지반강성을 단층영상의 형태로 가시화함으로써, 잠재적으로 과도한 침하를 유발할 수 있는 철도노반의 연약부위를 찾는데 있어서 현장기술자의 신속한 판단을 가능하게 하는 기법이다. 제안된 기법의 타당성과 적용성을 평가하기 위하여 실제 자갈도상 철도노반과 신설 철도노반 등 두 현장에 적용하여 보았고, SASW, PBT, DCP, FWD 시험결과와 비교하였다.

  • Where the track is continuously welded over the bridge, the longitudinal forces will be distributed interactively between the track and the sub-structure by the rail-bridge interaction mechanism. The ratio between the longitudinal forces transmitted in each elements depends on the magnitude of the ballast resistance and the stiffness of the sub-structures. In this paper, the main factors affect on the longitudinal rail force are discussed and the parametric study for the behavior of CWR(Continuous Welded Rail) track was executed. It is concluded that the horizontal ballast resistance and the stiffness of the bridge sub-structure are the significant parameters affecting the stability of the continuous welded rail track.

무도상 판형교의 동적거동특성 분석을 위한 해석적 연구 (Numerical Analysis to Investigate Dynamic Characteristics of Steel Plate Girder Railway Bridges without Ballast)

  • A dynamic characteristics of existing steel plate girder railway bridges without ballast were investigated from the finite element analysis. Span lengths, types of vehicle and running speeds are selected as parameters for analyses. For more exact analysis, it was adopted that 3-dimensional bridge models and wheel loads were produced by averaging field measured wheel loads of running vehicles at various speeds. Dynamic vertical deflections, dynamic amplification factors and vertical accelerations of bridges having 9m, 12m and 18m span length were investigated and compared with the limit values specified in Korean railway bridge specification.

대형삼축압축시험장비 구축과 도상자갈의 정적압축시험 평가 (Building of Large Triaxial Testing Apparatus and Static Triaxial Testing for Railway Ballast)

  • 본 연구에서는 철도, 도로 등 대형 성토지반구조물의 주요 지반재료인 입경이 큰 조립재료에 대해 전단강도, 변형계수, 응력-변형 거동과 같은 지반공학적 설계정수를 평가 산정할 수 있는 대형삼축압축시험장비를 구축하고, 이를 활용한 도상자갈재료에 대한 정적삼축압축시험 결과를 통해 그 의미와 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. 도상자갈과 같이 지표면에 설치되어 포화 가능성이 낮고, 구속압이 작은 경우에는 진공압(vacuum)으로 구속압을 제어하는 방식이 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 도상자갈 재료의 삼축압축시험 결과로부터 구속압별 전단강도, 변형계수, 입자파쇄 영향 등의 합리적인 결과와 경향을 확인하였으며, 모암의 입자강도, 구속압 등의 영향을 고려하여 전단강도 포락선을 예측할 수 있는 비선형식에 적합한 재료 상수를 산정, 적용하여 실험 결과를 근접하게 재현해낼 수 있었다.
