대기중과 절연체 갭에서 방사되는 방사전자파의 전파특성 (The Propagation Characteristics of Electromagnetic Wave Radiated at Gap in Air and Insulator)

  • 본 연구에서는 대기중 두가지 형태의 전극부에서 부분방전(partial discharge : PD)시 방사되는 VHF(30∼230 [MHz])대역의 방사전자파를 측정하고, 그 스펙트럼의 특이한 패턴을 나타냈다. 또한 PD에 의해 방사되는 방사전자파에 대한 거리 및 편파특성에 관하여 연구하였다. 에폭시절연체를 삽입한 경우, 방사전자파의 잡음레벨은 90 [MHz] 대역 이하에서 대기중에 비하여 0.6∼6.2 [db] 높게 나타났다. 방사전자파의 스펙트럼 분포는 안테나 엘리먼트 배치에 따라 전주파수 영역에서 차이를 나타내고 있다.

  • 본 논문는 공기중 교류전압원을 이용하여 3종류의 전극부(침대평판전극, 평판대평판전극 및 구대평판전극부)에서 방전시 방사되는 방사전자파를 측정하고, 그 스펙트럼의 특이한 패턴을 나타냈다. 방사전자파의 측정은 스펙트럼분석기와 바이코니칼 안테나를 사용하여 VHF(30~230[MHz])대역에서 측정하였다. 방전개시전압영역일 때, 침대평판전극부인 경우에는 주파수 45, 70, 80[MHz] 대역에서, 평판대평판전극과 구대평판전극부인 경우에는 주파수40[MHz]에서 높은 전계강도를 나타내었다. 그러나 절연파괴전압영역일 때, 방사전자파의 주파수 스펙트럼분포는 전극의 형태에 따라 측정주파수 영역에서 차이를 나타내었다.

  • In this paper the imitated electric defect was simulated by insulation particle in the model GIS. This paper studied the distribution of frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves using antenna (30-2,000[MHz]) and spectrum analyzer. From results of this study, a new method was introduced for measurement and analysis of the radiated electromagnetic waves in accordance with discharge progress of each defect in the model GIS. It was confirmed that detecting partial discharge and estimating discharge progress can be possible in the model GIS.

  • This paper simulated discharge progress and partial discharge using needle-plan electrodes system in $SF_6$, studied the distribution of frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves using biconical antenna and spectrum analyzer. From results of this study, a method was introduced for measurement and analysis of the radiated electromagnetic waves in accordance with discharge progress in $SF_6$. Besides, according to the consideration of the mutual relation between frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves and discharge progress, it was confirmed that detecting partial discharge and estimating discharge progress in $SF_6$ can be possible.

  • 본 논문에서는 리튬이온 배터리의 배터리 보호회로 모듈에 대한 전자파 내성 실험에 대하여 연구하였다. 전자파 내성은 전원선, 입출력선, 안테나 포트 등을 통해 유입되는 전자파에 대한 전도성 내성과 공간적으로 방사되는 전자파에 대한 복사성 내성으로 나눌 수 있다. 실험 시료로 S사의 리튬이온 배터리를 사용하였고, 전도성 내성 실험에서는 Surge(IEC 61000-4-5), Ring wave(IEC 61000-4-12), Damped oscillatory wave(IEC 61000-4-18)에 대하여 실시하였다. 복사성 내성은 IEC 61000-4-3에 따라 실험하였다.

  • This paper, we analyzed that the measured data of the radiated power spectrum of electromagnetic waves and the standing wave ratio(SWR) of the spark plug cable and spark plug. The measured data are the power strength of the electromagnetic waves radiated from the spark ignition system, the measured frequency ranges are 110 to 610MHz. The results show that the strength of radiated power spectrum and bandwidth have relation to the SWR of the the spark plug cable and spark plug, and the SWR of them is different because of the characteristics of resistor at the spark plug is different with the manufacturers. From the analyzed results, it can be concluded that the less SWR is little, the less maximum level of power spectrum is weak and bandwidth above the reference level is small.

  • This paper presents the method for an estimation of discharge current waveform in short gap discharge by radiated electromagnetic fields. The method of current waveform estimation is to use the one antenna method (single field method) with a measured electric or magnetic field at given field point by a time domain antenna. In order to verify the availability of the estimation theory, the discharge current waveform estimation was performed by one antenna methods using the measured electric fields of Wilson & Ma and compared with experiments. In addition diagnosis technique for power equipments is able to prevent from large accidents by finding signs of tile accidents before they happen. From the results of the estimation of discharge current, we have a possibility for the application of insulation diagnosis technique for power equipments using S$F_6$ gas. From this point of view, this paper simulated discharge progress and partial discharge by using needle-plan electrodes system in S$F_6$, studied the distribution of frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves using a biconical antenna and a spectrum analyzer. From the experimental results of this study, according to the consideration of the mutual relation between frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves and discharge progress, it was confirmed that detecting Partial discharge and estimating discharge progress in S$F_6$ could be Possible.

  • In this paper, electromagnetic waves radiated from discharge at three-type electrodes (needle-plane, plane-plane and sphere-plane electrode) using DC power source in air measured and the peculiar patterns of their spectra are reported. The radiated electrodmagnetic waves were measured in bandwidth of VHF($30{\sim}230$[MHz]) using a biconcal antenna and a spectrum analyzer. Frequency spectrum distribution of radiated electromagnetic wave was revealed under 50[MHz] at positive DC, and high electric field was shown at 45[MHz] frequency band. But, it was revealed under 70[MHz] frequency band at negative DC under plane-plane electrodes and sphere-plane electrodes, and high electric field was shown at 55 [MHz] frequency band.

  • This paper presents the characteristics of partial discharge and radiated electromagnetic waves in the existence of a poor contact for the insulation diagnosis of eco-friendly power equipment. AC surface discharge experiment was conducted to simulate the poor contact between a hive voltage electrode (anode) and a solid insulator in $N_2/O_2$ mixture gas under a non-uniform field. The partial discharge voltage to be measured at 0.3MPa increased with the increase of the poor contact gap and was saturated with the gap. In addition to the partial discharge characteristics, it was verified that the defect of the poor contact can be diagnosed using the radiated electromagnetic waves due to the partial discharge, which measured by a biconical EMC antenna and a spectrum analyzer.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the frequency spectrum of the electromagnetic waves radiated by an electric discharge as a basic study to develop an on-line diagnostic technique for power equipment installed inside closed-switchboards. In order to simulate local and series arc discharges caused by an electric field concentration and poor connections, three types of electrode systems were fabricated, consisting of needle and plane electrodes and an arc generator meeting the specifications of UL 1699. The experiment was carried out in an electromagnetic anechoic chamber, and the measurement system consisted of a PD free transformer, a loop antenna with a frequency bandwidth of 150 kHz-30 MHz, an ultra log periodic antenna with a frequency bandwidth of 30 MHz-2 GHz, and an EMI test receiver with a frequency bandwidth of 3 Hz-3 GHz. According to the experimental results, the frequency spectra of the electrical discharges were widely distributed across a range of 150 kHz-400 MHz, depending on the defects, while commonly found between 150 kHz and 10 MHz. Therefore, considering the ambient noise and antenna characteristics, the best frequency bandwidth for a measurement system to monitor abnormal conditions by detecting electromagnetic waves in closedswitchboards is 150 kHz-10 MHz.
