This study is interested in modeling the selection of optimal repair materials in view of the qualitative evaluation. In order to architecting the evaluation model of various repair alternatives, Analytical hierarchy process techniques was applied to this study. It is composed of aesthetics, easy-to-application, economical efficiency, and environment-friendly properties in upper level. Among the qualitative evaluation items, Environment-friendly properties and execution cost included in economical efficiency is highly weighted. It was concluded that the evaluation model by this study is very useful to choose the best alternative among various repair materials.

This study performed qualitative and quantitative risk assessment of equipment for evaluating the protocol of hydrogen refueling stations and suggested measures to improve safety. Hazard and operability study was performed for qualitative risk assessment, and Hy-KoRAM was used for quantitative risk assessment. Through a qualitative risk assessment, additional ventilation devices were installed, simultaneous venting of the storage container was prohibited, and the number of repeated refilling of the evaluation equipment was identified to manage the number of fillings of the container. Through quantitative risk assessment, the area around the device was set as a restricted area when evaluating the station, and measures were suggested to reduce the frequency of accidents.

This study aims to clarify the asset evaluation attributes of imported brands exclusively by department stores based on qualitative study. For the qualitative research, hands-on staff of the branch office who had at least 5 years experience in PB-related positions at one of the four domestic department stores(Lotte, Shinsegae, Hyundai, Galleria), and at least 20 years old adults who had purchased imported brand items exclusively by a certain department store(Shinsegae, Lotte) were included. The asset evaluation attributes of department store-exclusively imported brands were drawn up through the one-to-one in-depth interview method. As a result of qualitative study on the asset evaluation attributes of department store-exclusive importation brands, it turned out that there were 4 factors in view of business entity - stability, profitability, growth potential, and relationship, and that there were 6 factors in view of consumers - product quality, recognition, country of origin, image, preference, and reliability. In comparison with the existing preliminary study, it was notable that relationship in view of business entity, and country of origin in view of consumers were added to the asset elements.

The purpose of the current study was to research scientific basis and necessity of supplementary materials for field lesson out of golf swing teaching methods. As the subject of study, skillful tour pro golfers were chosen to reinterpret field lesson results for driver swing from the viewpoint of kinematics. In addition, through precise analysis, this study developed a case to verify the validity and error of field lesson. As a result, field lesson showed a slight difference among qualitative evaluation of kinematical analysis of techniques, subjects of study, and items. Accordingly, there was a little difference between two methods in view of evaluation of errors that 5 subjects of the study have shown. However, there was a significant difference in compensation to prevent causes of error and errors. Based on instructor's experience most errors could be evaluated. Therefore, feedback for error correction based on instructor's experience showed a significant difference from qualitative evaluation of kinematical analysis of techniques. In conclusion, the following are required for correct golf swing lesson; instant feedback through field lesson and qualitative evaluation of kinematical analysis of techniques to determine fundamental causes correctly.

Implementing UX design that meets user expectations has become an important variable that determines the prominence of smart home appliances. This study addresses the UX design evaluation issues in mobile application development of smart home appliances. As an experimental research subject, the UX design evaluation contents were set up for the mobile application of , the demand of which is surging recently. The purpose of the research is to explore the significance of the UX design user evaluation method in smart home applications, and to suggest how to achieve the mixing of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods. The main findings are as follows. First, we found that user evaluation can positively impact the direction of UX design. Secondly, we found that the mixing of 'quantitative' and 'qualitative' methods works complementarily to UX design evaluation. Research implications are as follows. The UX design evaluation process can be performed efficiently as long as we distinguish between the roles of quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation. For example, through qualitative evaluation such as 'Honeycomb model', can be identified in terms of 'exploratory', and through qualitative evaluation such as 'in-depth user interview', can be identified in terms of 'assessment' and 'validation'.

The purpose of this study is to develop the model including multiple causal relationship between factors to evaluate overall user satisfaction and develop an objective method to quantify the impacts and scores of each qualitative factors on overall user satisfaction using Structural Equation Model(SEM) and also test the feasibility to construct a comprehensive website evaluation model including qualitative and quantitative factors. The SEM model used 2 qualitative factors of usability and esthetic factors for the evaluation factors of user satisfaction and select 4 attributes of each factors using factor analysis. 3 shopping mall sites were evaluated to construct the SEM model, and 155 subjects participated the website evaluation using the walk-through and face-to-face survey method. Analysis results showed that the SEM model was statistically significant for all the 3 websites evaluated. Both the usability and esthetic factors showed significant effects to user satisfaction of websites and have positive correlation. The user satisfaction was more effected by the usability factor than esthetic factors, and the simplification and harmonization were the most critical attributes of the usability and esthetic factors.

Objectives: The purpose of this article is to develop steering of program accreditation system in Korean Medicine Education through meta-evaluation. For this study, the subjects of our research were categorized as the accreditation criteria and system, results and effects, tasks for improvement on Korean Medicine Education. Methods: We conducted Focus Group Interview on 102 full-time professors with experience of participating on accreditation of Korean Medicine Education from 12 college of Korean Medicine Education and we analyzed it by thematic analysis. Results: The accreditation criteria and program evaluation system of Korean Medicine were listed as 'Confusion about the goals of program evaluation', 'High hurdles on accreditation', 'obsession to success cases', 'Small college complaints about applying the same criteria', 'Dilemma of quantitative and qualitative evaluation'. The results and effects of program evaluation in Korean Medicine Education were listed as 'Establishment of base infrastructure for basic medical education', 'Benchmarking and exchanging opinions through evaluation certification', 'Resistance to documents and document-based evaluation', and 'Double-sided of evaluation certification'. As for the tasks for further improvement, the following list is suggested. 'Actively promote evaluation certification', 'Simplification and standardization of forms', 'Requesting for activating about Evaluation committee', 'Need for consulting before regular evaluation'. Conclusion: It is necessary to upgrade the accreditation system and make efforts to improve the issues discovered for better Korean Medicine Education.

Recently, the development of technology has been rapidly proceeding with information technology in various fields. Due to their abstract properties, proper evaluation of intangible assets is very difficult compared to evaluation of tangible assets. Intangible assets are knowledge, technology, and design etc. In general there are two approaches to evaluate the intangible assets such as qualitative and quantitative approach. The qualitative approach contains scoring approach, profile approach, checklist approach, and quantitative approach. Quantitative approach contains cost approach, market approach, income approach, and real-option approach. As an initial step for evaluation of safe work environments, this study compares and analyzes evaluation methods of intangible assets.

This study analyzes consumer-based apparel design elements and evaluation criteria using qualitative research methodology. Apparel design is one of the most important factors to determine consumer consumption and attitude; however, limited studies have examined them. This study provides essential cues for an apparel industry suffering from dramatically fluid market situations. Based on a qualitative analysis of the focus group interviews, researchers establish three categories (basic elements, elements generated by apparel, and elements experienced by consumer) of apparel design elements that are consistent with nine elements (shape, materials, color, pattern, detail, subsidiary materials, overall image & style, fit, and overall balance). The results provide 137 types of conceptualized apparel design evaluation criteria. They developed 56 initial themes, 23 evolved themes, 23 sub categories, and 12 kinds of theme categories with abstract conceptualization. This study explicates the critical role that consumer-based apparel design is the competitive advantage within the apparel industry.

The problem of qualitative reliability system is very important issue in the digitalized nuclear power plant, because the failure of its system brings about extravagant economic loss, extensive environment destruction, and fatal damage of human. Therefore this study is to develop the reliability evaluation model through the normalized scoring model by the quantitative and qualitative factors considering the advanced safety factors In the Advanced Pressurized water Reactor 1400MWe(APR 1400) under uncertainty Especially, the qualitative factors considering the information and human factors for the systematic and rational justification have been closely analyzed. The reliability evaluation model can be simply applied in real fields in order to minimize the industrial accident and human error in the digitalized nuclear power plant.
