Development of AR-based Coding Puzzle Mobile Application Using Command Placement Recognition (명령어 배치 인식을 활용한 AR 코딩퍼즐 모바일앱 개발)

  • In this study, we propose a reliable command placement recognition algorithm using tangible commands blocks developed for our coding puzzle platform, and present its performance measurement results on an Augmented Reality testbed environment. As a result, it can recognize up to 30 tangible blocks simultaneously and their placements within 5 seconds reliably. It is successfully ported to an existing coding puzzle mobile app and can operate an IoT attached robot via bluetooth connected mobile app.

  • Recently, Mobile Social Network Game market has grown rapidly because Smart devices has been spreading to many people and improving performance. Push notification, which is a success factor of the mobile social network game brought about stress to the user. However, there is no study on push notifications in the mobile social network game; it was difficult to understand for the use of push notifications. The Games of Kakao talk platform has various push notification system and provides detailed descriptions. On the other hand, the game linked to Facebook has minimal push notification system. In the future, if game companies develop push notification system by the characteristics of user, mobile social network games be able to derive the user's use continuously.

  • 최근 가상현실을 활용한 게임콘텐츠들이 많이 제작되고 있다. 그러나 킬러콘텐츠가 부족한 상황이며 가상현실 게임을 즐기기 위해 사용하는 HMD(Head Mounted Display)는 멀미감 때문에 장시간 사용하기 힘들다. 본 연구에서는 멀미감을 최소화할 수 있는 퍼즐과 요즈음 오프라인에서 인기가 있는 방탕출 게임을 동시에 즐길 수 있는 콘텐츠를 제안한다. 특히, 개발한 콘텐츠는 Unreal Engine을 사용함으로서 게임에 현실성을 더욱 가미할 수 있었고 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 범용적인 콘텐츠이다. Unreal Engine을 활용한 게임이 별로 많지 않아 본 콘텐츠는 향후 Unreal Engine를 활용한 게임을 제작하는데 도움이 될것이라 사료된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Puzzle Adventure 장르의 평범한 게임에 긴장감을 높이는 Action, 진화하는 Graphic과 같이 다양한 요소를 가미하여, 퍼즐을 끝까지 풀고 탈출할 때까지 흥미진진한 Room Escape 게임 'Mementomori'를 개발하였다. 게임을 끝까지 진행하고 탈출하기 위해 Player는 매 Stage 바뀌는 주변 환경을 고려해가며 적절한 퍼즐을 풀고, 환경에 따라 등장하는 다양한 위험요소에 재빠른 대응을 해내야만 한다.

An Explanatory Study on Factors Affecting the Purchase of Smart Device Game Applications in the framework of Contents Characteristic Factors (콘텐츠 특성요인에 따른 스마트기기 게임 앱 구매결정에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • In this study, to analyze the factors affecting the purchase of smart device applications, research model based on AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model was employed and derived consumers' priorities of smart device game applications in the framework of contents characteristic factors. Survey was conducted with 10 experts who are involved in the smart game industry. The empirical result showed that the most important purchasing factor was story(0.217). And fame(0.171), graphics(0.134), operability(0.111), information(0.093), difficulty(0.085), speed(0.068), characters(0.053), price(0.042), genre(0.028) are presented in order in terms of the importance. The order of consumers' preferences to smart device game application was RPG, Tycoon, action, simulation, sports/leisure, quiz/puzzle/board, etc. gamble. It suggested that under the environment of smart devices consumers could enjoy not only simple puzzle and board game but also complicated and difficult games such as RPG and tycoon game due to the development of smart devices.

Cognitive Development Evaluation of Haptic Puzzle Game Using a Haptic Pen (촉각펜을 이용한 햅틱 퍼즐게임의 인지 발달 평가)

  • It is necessary for young children to integrate the sense of sight, hearing, touch, etc. for developing their emotion and cognition. Thanks to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) development, young children have more opportunities to use various senses in learning process. However, ICT learning method is more focusing on the sense of sight and hearing, and lacks of integrated recognition and this fact leads to the reason why ICT can not be used as a main education tool. Therefore, this study evaluated the influence of wUbi-Pen(haptic device) on cognition using a computer puzzle program. The results show that young children using a haptic pen have greater intention and performance in object assembly, mazes, picture completion in K-WPPSI test than those of non-using haptic pen. This implies that haptic function should be considered in ICT material and indeed useful in various cognition-related symptoms and diseases.

  • In this paper through the implementation of cooperative learning using SDG, education puzzle actually applies to computer training. SDG(Single Display Groupware) which one computer display have a multi-input devices can work as a collaborative system. Learners are performing together through SDG-based cooperative learning system. SDG cooperative learning with a multi-input device is superior to traditional learning with individual. We have implementation of the puzzle game with this fact. This system through effective education and raising their children's education participation rate will be able to do.

  • We review the eastern frog jump game and the western solitaire to apply the Baduk Pieces Game to mathematical education. This study introduce a didactical method of Baduk Pieces Game which is constructed with simplification, generalization, and extension. This didactical applications of the Baduk Pieces Game gives the students opportunities of patterns, generalization, and problem solving strategies.

  • 모바일 게임 시장이 날이 갈수록 발전하고 성장하는 가운데 Unity 게임 엔진은 하나의 코드로 여러 플랫폼에서 동작하도록 하여 게임 개발이 전문가들만이 개발할 수 있는 영역이 아닌 누구나 쉽게 개발할 수 있도록 해주는 환경으로 인기를 받고 있다. 이에 따라 Unity 엔진을 이용하여 퍼즐 게임과 타워 디펜스 장르를 합친 퍼즐디펜스로 복합장르를 적용한 게임을 개발하였다.

  • This study presents the analysis results through the experiments how to increase the user participation via the user created game contents(UCGC) which user oneself can produce in a game. The experiment was carried out for whether the three elements of self-express desire, providing game money, and competitiveness can increase active participation in UCGC by using a mobile game called 'Color Pop'. Through this, we summarized the comparative results of the importance and influence for the three elements. It is expected that it will be used to improve understanding of UCGC users and plan or produce UCGC.
