The logical assumption of the comparison question test (CQT) is that the guilty person pays more attention to the relevant questions than to the comparison questions, and that the innocent person pays more attention to the comparison questions than to the relevant questions. The purpose of this study was to verify the logic of the comparison question test using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The participants were tested for brain responses during a mock crime and performed the CQT under guilty and innocent conditions. After brain imaging, we evaluated the psychological burden of responding to the relevant questions and comparison questions. In the guilty conditions, the degree of burden was higher for the relevant questions than the comparison questions, and there was no significant difference in the innocent conditions. The fMRI results showed that, in the guilty conditions, greater activation was observed in the right superior temporal gyrus and right inferior frontal gyrus when relevant questions were presented relative to comparison questions. Based on these findings, the logical assumption of the CQT was discussed.

The purpose of this study is to review existing research trends to find highly reliable tools for measuring inconsistencies in parenting attitudes for adolescent children. We reveal factors that heavily affect reliability and feasibility of these tools and compose stable measurement items. We found a total of 37 items with high reliability and feasibility comprising six questions on affection, three questions on childcare, nine questions on interest, seven questions on demands, five questions on neglect, and seven questions on abuse. We surveyed first to third-year high school students in public and private schools nationwide and carried out statistical analysis for the 1,020 respondents. Upon analysis, questions were removed if they showed low factor loading (less than 0.6) for the father and mother in each of the 37 measurement items. Only questions that could be used for both the father and mother were extracted to carry out exploratory factor analysis. Eight questions were were deleted: five on interest, one on demands, one on neglect, and one on abuse. The final 29 questions were selected for the measurement tool. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was used to analyze reliability, which showed high reliability values ranging from .857 to .931 for the father and mother. Therefore, these inspection tools for inconsistent parenting attitude were both reliable and feasible.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the examination questions used in the librarian teacher recruitment exam, including the domains, content, and evaluation factors, and to propose improvements for the recruitment exam. To achieve this, examination questions for librarian teacher recruitment exams since 2002, provided by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, were collected and analyzed the frequency of appearances by section. The analysis revealed that, 106 questions (21.95%) on school library administration, 63 questions (13.04%) on classification and information retrieval 59 questions (12.22%) on library computerization, 58 questions (12.01%) on reading education, 56 questions (11.59%) cataloging and information service, and 18 questions (3.73%) on information media were examined. Next, analyzed the frequency of appearances in the last 10 years (2014-2023) by dividing the examination areas into specialty of librarian and school library practice, and found that there were a total of 149 questions (66.22%) related to specialty of librarian and 76 questions (33.78%) related to school library practice. Based on these findings, recommendations have been made for update assessment areas and factors, expanding the field of information media, and suggested the need for a stable and continuous teacher recruitment policy.
Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the musculo-skeletal pain prevalence and severity in the dental hygienists based on PRECEDE model. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 483 dental hygienists in Gwangju from September 13 to October 12, 2013. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, chi-square test, t-test, and multiple logistic regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 program. Musculo-skeletal pain severity was classified from 1 to 5 by PRECEDE model. The questionnaire consisted of six questions of the general characteristics of the subjects, one question of musculo-skeletal pain prevalence, one question of body part musculo-skeletal pain prevalence, one question of subjective health status, three questions of activities of daily living, six questions of working environment, one question of musculoskeletal system diseases knowledge, two questions of social support, two questions of education experience and data use method, and five questions of necessity of health education. Results: The prevalence rate of musculo-skeletal pain within a year was 83.9% and 22.8% of the dental hygienists complained of severe pain. The odds ratio of moderate pain severity was 1.99(95% CI, 1.10-3.60) and the odds ratio of unhealthiness was 3.27 (95% CI, 1.35-7.94). The odds ratio of pain severity in those working for 4-6 years was 0.21(95% CI, 0.08-0.57). The odds ratio of pain severity in those practicing 6-10 scaling cases per day was 0.33(95% CI, 0.17-0.65). The odds ratio of pain severity in wrist turning and bending was 3.56(95% CI, 1.19-10.62). Conclusions: The muscolu-skeletal pain severity in the dental hygienists was closely associated with subjective health condition, work duration, the number of scaling practice activity, and a treatment posture. Regular physical checkup for the dental hygienists will improve the musculo-skeletal pain due to scaling practice.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate third and forth year dental students' perception towards dental hygienists as professionals. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 602 dental college students in Korea after receiving the informed consent. Except incomplete answers, 217 data were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of three questions of the general perception towards dental hygienists, four questions of the cooperation relationship to the dental hygienists, four questions of oral health education, five questions of preventive dental health care, five questions of dental treatment cooperation, and five questions of dental health care management. The data were analyzed using PASW Statistics 18.0(SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). Results: Most of the dental college students viewed the dental hygienists as professionals. However, they did not exactly know the professional job of dental hygienists within the current national medical services system and they often viewed the dental hygienists as a medical assistant. The dental college students thought that the key role of the dental hygienists is the dental assisting. Only a small fraction of the participants recognized oral health promotion, preventive cares, and hospital management as professional roles of dental hygienists. Conclusions : Dental college students' perception towards dental hygienists as professionals needs to be improved. Understanding the job description of dental hygienists clearly is a crucial part of dental students' learning process and future practice.
Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of organizational communication satisfaction on the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in the dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 227 dental hygienists in Chungnam. The questionnaire consisted of 4 questions of general characteristics of the subjects, 8 questions of interpersonal stress, 12 questions of organizational communication satisfaction, 5 questions of job satisfaction, 5 questions of organizational commitment, and 5 questions of turnover intention. The four variables were measured by Likert 7 point scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 18.0 for frequency analysis, t test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise regression analysis. Sobel test was used to verify the mediating effects. Results: The interpersonal stress was proportional to turnover intention and inversely proportional to the organizational communication satisfaction, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment(p<0.01). The organizational communication satisfaction was proportional to the job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and inversely proportional to turnover intention(p<0.01). The interpersonal stress had a meditating effect between organizational communication satisfaction, and job satisfaction. It also gave the mediating effect between organizational communication satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conclusions: The effective organization management system can enhance the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention reduction in the dental hygienists.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the related factors to dental fear in some adults. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 320 adults in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do from April to June, 2013. Except 14 incomplete answers, data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 program. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(7 questions), dental fear related factor(18 questions), distrust for dentist(15 questions), and distrust for dental hygienist(11 questions). The instrument for dental treatment fear was Dental fear Survey(DFS) adapted from Kleinknecht and partly modified by Choi. Out of 20 questions, 18 questions were reconstructed and score by Likert 5 scale. Higher score means higher dental fear. Cronbach alpha was 0.959 in the study. The distrust for dentist and dental hygienist was adapted from Choi and reconstructed and score by Likert 5 scale. Higher score means higher distrust for dentist and dental hygienist. Cronbach alpha was 0.937 in distrust for dentist and 0.874 in distrust for dental hygienist in the study. Results: Those who experienced dental pain tended to have dental fear. The reasons for dental fear were as follows; bad breath(2.96 out of 5 points, hereafter represented as of 2.96/5), dental caries(2.88/5), missing teeth(2.87/5) and tooth pain(2.77/5). The distrust for the dentist was the main dental fear in the adults. Conclusions: The dental fear was closely related to gender, experience of dental pain, oral symptoms and distrust for the dentist. As the psychological pain in the patients was mainly influenced by the trustful atmosphere, it is necessary to make the patient easy before treatment.
The purpose of this study is to examine validity to Soeum scales by QSCC II. For this study, the objects are 336 patients who were made a diagnosis of Soeumin and 422 patients of other constitutions in Oriental Medicine & Western Medicine Cooperative Health Examination Center KyungHee University Medical Center. A systematic analysis has been made and the results are as follows. 1. We made a frequency analysis in 758 examinees' questions and concluded that 35 questions, among which 30 questions were existing and 5 were new, had statistical significance in making a diagnosis of Soeumin by more than 10% in comparison with answer frequency of other constitutions. 2. Because confidence coefficient of 0.8011 revised Soeum scales(35) rises up as compared with that of 0.6319 existing Soeum scales(51), I think revised Soeum scales reflect trait of Soeumin well and it is liable to shorten question time by controling questions. 3. Soeumin's discrimination probability in Soeumin was 55.4% by QSCCII, but that rises up to 64.3% by discriminant function made by revised Soeum scales. So there is statistical significance in discriminant function. 4. When questions in QSCCII are divided into body-spirit(體形氣像), looks-attitude(容貌詞氣), temper- talent(性質才幹), continuous mind(恒心), avarice(心慾), physiological symptoms(生理的 證) and pathological symptoms(病理的 證), response frequency and constitution discrimination probability falls in questions about avarice and pathological symptoms.
The purpose was to analyze the trend of sport pedagogy in secondary teacher certification examination based on the secondary teacher qualification criterion in Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation since abolition of multiple-choice questions from 2014 to 2020. The result showed the questions for sport pedagogy were 48 question since 2014, and found 83 sub-questions. The implications are as follows. First, the frequency of sub-questions in sport pedagogy has increased, causing an integrated question. Second, the serious unbalanced issue of questions for examination was presented. Third, dependence on specific domains was excessively high. Fourth, the confusion caused by the overlapped domains with the content knowledge of physical education subject was intensified. Therefore, evaluation factors based on 2016 KICE classification table should be clear and field application questions should be developed.
This paper aims to compare systems and questions between Chinese I in the Korea National Scholastic Aptitude Test(abbreviated by KNSAT) and Chinese with Listening in the SAT. In the beginning, we compared KNSAT and SAT, and then focused our attention on Chinese I in KNSAT and Chinese with Listening in SAT in terms of assessment purposes, sections, ranges, questions. Through the research, the following results were obtained: Firstly, compared KNSAT with SAT, it is found that Chinese I is less important in KNSAT than Chinese with Listening in SAT. Chinese I belongs to one of the second foreign languages section, and it is placed under common rule of its section. However, Chinese with Listening is similar to Chinese I in that it also belongs to one of the languages section, but it keeps under its control, so it has its own system e.g. purpose, range etc.. Next, compared Chinese I with Chinese with Listening, in the matter of purposes of them, Chinese I is less explicit and less concrete to explain it than Chinese with Listening, and in respect of sections of them, the sections of Chinese I are leaning more toward language materials contrary to Chinese with Listening leaning more toward language functions. And in terms of ranges of them, Chinese I is limited to Basic vocabulary and Examples of communicative function in curriculum of Chinese I, but Chinese with Listening has not any limit on the ranges of questions. Lastly, with regard to questions of them, Chinese I has more tendency toward assessing knowledge of Chinese, on the contrary, Chinese with Listening has more tendency toward assessing performance of it.
