It is difficult to measure the pulse wave in a short time because radial artery position and located depth are different depending on the person. In this paper, the pulse wave measurement system was developed using 3 channel piezoresistive sensor array to detect the most significant pulse wave. Augmentation Index(AI) and Heart Rate(HR) analysis are also available for predicting cardiovascular risks. The developed system is small and easy to use. And it is promising to be used as home healthcare device.
In this paper, we implement the volume pulse detection system which can quantitatively represent an artery elasticity. The system consists of transducer which has IRLED-photodiode detecter, temperature sensor, filters, preprocessing circuits, A/D converter, serial communication part and computer system. In order to presume the artery elasticity information we measure the volume pulse at four points and then evaluate the transition time, distance and the correlation coefficient of the pulse wave between the points. We test the system with 10 subjects during the week for basic experiment and obtain the data at four points. As the result of experiment, we can detect normalized volume pulse wave and evaluated parameter with effectively.
From ancient times. the diagnosis method of the oriental medicine has been Performed by curing diseases by means of rectifying and adjusting the unbalance in the Physiological function of the five viscera and the six bowels of a human body. Diseases have been diagnosed by the condition of blood circulation that cycles a human body through blood vessels by dint of the vitality of the heart, Based on such a systematic pulse diagnosis method, the article presents parameters that will be beneficial to clinical application on the basis of its analysis of the filtering for eliminating noises from pulse signals inputted from sensor group the digital hardware dealing with signals necessary for recognition algorithm. and the structure of diagnosis algorithm and components of pulse waveform.
A phase retrieval method using an error reduction algorithm is developed for reconstructing a wavefront aberration of an 100-TW Ti:sapphire laser pulse from the measurement of a focal spot. The phase retrieval method can successfully reconstruct a wavefront aberration of a 100-TW Ti:sapphire laser pulse, and the reconstructed wavefront aberration shows a good agreement with the wavefront aberration measured with a wavefront sensor. The effect of the dynamic range and the intensity noise on the reconstruction is also investigated in reconstructing a wavefront aberration of an 100-TW Ti:sapphire laser pulse.
It is very important to discriminate noises such as air corona in measuring on-site partial discharges (PD). Therefore, in order to investigate the possibility of separating PD(partial discharge) and noises through the pulse analysis, pulse shapes measured by a resistive sensor and a HFCT were analyzed and PA(pulse analysis) were performed. For the purpose, the HFPD detection and PA system has been developed. Also void discharges and air corona were adopted as the artificial defect and noises, respectively.
In this paper, we introduce a new synchronous visible light communication system in which the synchronizing pulse and the data bits are simultaneously transmitted using a 3-level light signal. In the transmitter, the synchronizing pulse and the data bits modulate independently two identical visible LEDs, whose output lights add in free space, make 3-level optical signal. In the receiver, a photodiode detects the light and generates a 3-level output voltage, whose positive and negative part correspond to the synchronizing pulse and the data bits, respectively. The two signals are easily separated and recovered by a simple diode circuit. This configuration provides two independent VLC channels without any multiplexing technique, simplifies the circuit design and construction of synchronous VLC systems.
In this paper, we introduce a new method for controlling the illumination of LEDs in visible light communication (VLC) by changing the duty cycle of Manchester code. When VLC data were transmitted in Manchester code, the average optical power of the LEDs was proportional to the duty cycle. In experiments, we controlled the illumination of a $3{\times}3$ LED array from 10% to 90% of its peak value by changing the duty cycle of the Manchester code. The synchronizing clocks required for encoding and decoding the Manchester code were supplied by pulse generators that were connected to a 220 V power line. All pulse generators made the same pulses with a repetition frequency of 120 Hz, and they were synchronized with the full-wave rectified voltage of the power line. This scheme is a very simple and useful method for constructing indoor wireless sensor networks using LED light.
Ioff ${\le}10^{-l2}A$, Ion ${\le}10^{-6}A$ 으로서 Ion/Ioff ${le}10^6$ 이상을 나타냈으며 Vth는 $2\~4$ volts였고, Id는 수 ${\mu}A$ 정도로 photodiode를 스위치하기에 충분한 전류-전압특성을 나타내고 있다.
