Spice해석을 이용한 push-pull inverter방식의 UV램프용 전자식 안정기 개발 (A development of push-pull inverter electronic ballast for UV lamps using Spice Analysis)

  • 본 논문은 Spice해석을 이용하여 push-pull inverter 방식의 전자식 안정기회로를 해석하고 안정기를 설계 제작하였다. Spice 시뮬레이션을 사용함으로서 전자식 안정기의 설계에 있어서 전기적 특성을 예측, 평가 할 수 있었고 이를 바탕으로 145W저압 UV램프용 전자식 안정기를 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 저전압 대전류 입력의 DC/DC컨버터에서 과도한 전류 스트레스를 부담하는 변형된 Push-Pull type 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 컨버터는 변압기에 병렬로 권선과 스위치를 구성하며 L-C공진을 통해 소프트스위칭을 실현한다. 이를 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

Friction and Pull-off Forces on Submicron-Size Asperity Measured in High Vacuum

  • Asperity arrays and Independent asperities were fabricated on a silicon plate. Then pull-off and friction forces were measured on each asperity pattern by using AFM (atomic force microscope) in humid air and high vacuum of $2{\times}10^{-5}$ Pa. The probe of AFM cantilever has a flat square of about $1\;{\mu}m^2$ on its tip. The results showed that the pull-off force was proportional to the curvature radius of asperity peak in each ambient condition. The friction force was proportional to the pull-off force and was slightly higher in the humid air than in the high vacuum.

  • With the recent advances in instruments and techniques, laparoscopic procedure have extended to neonates with congenital anomalies. The author reports a 6-day-old boy with Hirschsprung's disease, treated successfully by the laparoscopic endorectall pull-through procedure. The technique and its potential role in the treatment of Hirschsprung's disease are described. One camera port and three working ports were used for access to the peritoneal cavity. The descending and sigmoid colon were mobilized laparoscopically. The submucosal dissection was done transanally. The colon was then pulled down in continuity, divided above the transition zone, and secured to the anal mucosa about 10 mm above the pectinate line. Author concluded that endorectal pull-through can be performed safety with the laparoscope.

  • Media service model is divided into 3 models that are Client Pull, Server Push, and IPP(Interleaving Pull & Push) model. In most single VOD(Video On Demand) environment, Client Pull model was sufficient to play the movie Because most media contents has a low bitrate and resolution. But according to an increment of the demand of the high definition media, Client Pull model is not sufficient. Parallel VOD environment is made of several of VOD servers and provides the parallel media stream simultaneously for one client. We compared and analyzed the performance of service models with respect to network delay and data size in buffer in the single and parallel VOD environment and we found that IPP service model keeps the least network delay and stable client buffer state in the parallel VOD environment.

  • The Purpose of this study was to seek determinant factors through analysis of 65 snatch skill kinematic factors of Athletics participated in 2001 Asian weightlifting competetion. The conclusion were as follows ; 1. In order to enhance snatch skill, when barbell move on knee position, One should be flex knee joint to 105-110 degree, and In pull motion, One should be move powerful extension of knee and hip joint. 2. In last pull motion, One try to make more lock out motion than extra extention motion of hip joint 3. In order to enhance snatch skill, It is inportant that elevate barbell highly by last pull motion through powerful knee extention, poweful hip flextion and One should be make lock out motion fast in the same time. 4. In order to enhance snatch skill, anterior-posterior movement width of shoulder joint should be small. 5. In order to enhance snatch skill, Hip joint should be move vertically on start and lock out phase, but In pull phase, extension motion of hip joint shoulde be performed more largely and powerfully.

  • The reliability of machined fiber reinforced composites (FRC) in high strength applications and the safety in using these components are often critically dependent upon the quality of surface produced by machining since the surface layer may drastically affect the strength and chemical resistance of the material [1,2,3,4]. Current study will discuss the characterization of fiber pull-out in orthogonal cutting of a fiber-matrix composite materials. A sparsely distributed idealized model composite material, namely a glass reinforced polyester (GFRP) was used as workpiece. Analysis method employs a force sensor and the signals from the sensor are processed using AR time series model. The experimental correlation between the fiber pull-out and the AR coefficients is examined first and effects of fiber orientation, cutting parameters and tool geometry on the fiber pull-out are also discussed.

  • Kopzon and Weiss adopted the notion of push-pull into the queueing system recently. We extend this queueing system to the ($N_1,N_2$)-policy version such that the original system corresponds to the special case $N_1=N_2=1$. For the extended system, we perform the cycle analysis and obtain the PGF of the stationary number of customers in the system.

  • This paper gives an attempt to build a decision support tool linked with a simulation software called ARENA for evaluating and comparing the performance of the push and pull material driven strategies operating in the flow shop environment with a bottleneck resource as the shop's constraint. To be fair for such evaluation, the comparison must be made fairly under the optimal setting of both systems' operating parameters. In this study, an optimal-seeking heuristic algorithm, Genetic Algorithm (GA), is employed to suggest a systems' best design based on the economic consideration, which is the profit generated from the system. Results from the study have revealed interesting outcomes, letting us know the strength and weakness of the push and pull mechanisms as well as the effect of each operating parameter to the overall system's financial performance.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze supplier's optimal decision of the buyback price facing irrational retailers. It has been known that retailers show irrational ordering behaviors, such as pull-to-center effect. We model the retailer's pull-to-center behavior and derive the supplier's optimal buyback price considering the retailer's bounded rationality. The result shows that the supplier's profit can be significantly improved exploiting the retailer's irrationality in the ordering behavior.
