Purpose: The purpose of this study is to show the development of community health nursing in Korea in light of the life of Lee Keumjeon (1900~1990), who devoted her life to community health nursing. Methods: Primary and secondary sources were collected and analyzed. Results: Lee could get high level education up to college courses, which was very exceptional at that time in Korea. She got nursing and midwifery education in Severance Hospital (1929) and majored in public health nursing at Toronto University (1930). Then, she worked in mother-and-child health practice for more than 10 years. She helped the Korean Nurses' Association to publish Public Health Nursing (1933) and other nursing books. After the liberation of Korea, she became a governmental official in the public health nursing field and tried to establish the national public health nursing system. During the Korean War, she devoted herself to nursing education and practice at nursing schools and hospitals. After the war, she worked as president of the Korean Nurses' Association. In 1959, Lee was given the Nightingale award. Although she retired in 1960, she continued to devote herself to the development of nursing, and published her book Public Health Nursing (1967). Conclusion: Lee worked from 1920s to 1960s for the development of nursing in Korea and during the period Korean nursing showed great development to national system and professional status.

The study aims to determine the influence of intellectual capital and education on public financial services in increasing financial inclusion. This study applied a survey technique by selecting respondents according to the purposive sampling method. The number of respondents in this study was 500 people and came from various regions in Indonesia. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques. The results indicate that intellectual capital has a positive effect on financial inclusion. Conversely, education about public financial services has no influence in increasing financial inclusion. The results of this study indicate that the success of financial inclusion programs in Indonesia is caused more by the role of public intellectual capital. Studies show that the public does not have the courage to be involved in banking institutions because the image of this institution tends to be inflexible in its operations. The results of this study are expected to make a real contribution, especially for the government and banks, that in order to achieve the success of the financial inclusion program in Indonesia; the related parties should educate the public directly to citizens who have not been reached by banking services continuously and with a more down to earth approach.

일반적으로 지역주민들의 문화적 욕구를 해소하고, 지역간 교육 및 문화적 격차를 해소하기 위한 공공도서관의 기능이 확대되고 있다. 본 연구는 공공도서관이 지역주민을 위한 평생교육기관으로 그리고 지역 문화컨텐츠의 중심기관으로 역할을 수행하기 위한 기능들을 확대하기 위하여 필요한 구체적인 방안들을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 지방자치단체 산하의 전국 공공도서관을 대상으로 문화 및 교육적 기능을 수행하기 위하여 현재 운영되고 있는 관련 프로그램들을 조사$\cdot$분석하여 문제점을 제시하고, 이를 토대로 공공도서관의 문화 및 교육적 기능 활성화 방안을 제안하였다.

본 논문에서는 공공도서관의 새로운 서비스 영역인 ASK_a 서비스 운영모형을 제안하였다. 제안한 모형이 갖는 기능을 입력과 처리, 출력과정으로 구분하여 설계하였다. 최적의 입력 형식은 웹 폼형식을 제안하였고, 처리과정은 공공도서관의 혼합형(수평형, 계층형) 협력모델을 제안하였고, 출력 과정은 제공된 질문-해답정보에 대한 아카이빙 정책을 제안하였다. 특히 ASK_a 서비스가 성공적으로 운영되도록 하기 위해서 제안한 모형의 핵심을 공공도서관의 협력연계를 통한 외부 인력과 자원활용으로 하였다. 이러한 협력의 최종목표는 고도의 전문정보 서비스를 공공도서관 이용자에게 제공하는 것이다.

본 연구는 대중의 과학적 소양을 함양하기 위한 기관으로서의 과학관의 역할에 주목하고, 우리나라 과학관이 대중에게 어느 정도 영향을 미치고 있는지 알아보기 위하여 소셜 빅데이터 분석을 통해 대중의 과학관에 대한 인식과 사용 행태를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 네이버 블로그와 트위터에에서 '과학관'이 포함된 게시글들을 추출한 뒤 텍스트 네트워크 분석, 빈도 분석, 공기어 분석 및 의미 분석을 실시하고 영어권의 분석 결과와 비교해 보았다. 그 결과 블로그에서는 주로 어린 자녀를 둔 부모 층에서 과학관이 이슈가 되고 있었고, 트위터에서는 단체 관람을 하는 학생 층이 다수 드러났다. 따라서 우리나라 대중들은 과학관을 주로 아이의 체험을 위한 공간으로 활용하고 있었고, 이 경우 과학관의 프로그램과 전시에 대해서는 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 한편 단체 관람하는 학생들은 다소 부정적 감정을 표출하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 과학관과 대중과의 소통, 대중의 과학에 대한 참여 등 제 3세대적 과학관의 기능적 측면에서 외국의 사례와 비교해본 결과 우리나라 대중들은 과학관 관람 이후 관람한 과학적 내용에 대한 언급이 거의 없었고, 논쟁이나 심포지움 등 과학적 의사소통과 관련된 언급 역시 거의 없었다. 또한 해설사나 직원들도 외국과는 달리 전혀 회자되지 않고 있었다. 한편, 영어권 게시글의 동사 분석에서 '배우다', '참여하다', '듣다', '읽다', '묻다', '생각하다', '그리다' 등의 유의미한 활동과 관련된 동사들이 다수 나타난 것에 비해 우리나라 게시글에서는 '물어보다', '생각하다' 가 소수 나타나는 것에 그치고 있었다. 따라서 과학관은 과학관 관람객들이 관람을 마친 뒤에 그들의 기억에 남고 대중들 사이에서 회자될 만큼 영향력 있고 다양한 내용과 활동이 일어날 수 있도록 개선할 필요가 있겠다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an education program promoting safety knowledge and safety practice for mothers with infants. Method: This education was provided at two public health centers in Kyunggi Province. A non-equivalent control group pretest-post test design was used, and the participants were 95 mothers in the experimental group, and 44 mothers in the control group. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and were analyzed with the SPSS program. Results: After the group education sessions on safety management at the public health centers, the mean scores for knowledge and practice of safety in the experimental group were significantly higher than that of mothers in the control group mothers. Also, after the safety education, mothers in the experimental group perceived a higher priority in safety in child care than they had before the education program. Conclusion: The education for mothers with infants regarding the child safety was effective in promoting knowledge and practice of safety for infants.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the association between participation in physical activities (PA) and subjective well-being. Methods: We analyzed the data from Korean Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, 2013 containing 36,655 and 35,780 for male and female students respectively. Study variables included PA, participation in physical education class, participation in team sports and subjective well-being. Control variables were school type, socio-economic status, level of parent education, living with parent, academic performance, delinquent behaviors, depression and perceived health. For this study, descriptive analysis, Chi-square test, and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed. Results: Among boys, after adjusting for control variables, PA (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs. over 4 times: OR 1.306), physical education class (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs. over 3 times: OR 1.140), and team sports (no team reference group vs. 2 team: OR 1.206) were associated with subjective well-being. Among girls, control variables were adjusted. PA (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs over 4 times: OR 1.244), physical education class (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs. over 3 times: OR 1.161), and team sports (no team reference group vs. 2 team: OR 1.181) were associated with subjective well-being. Conclusions: Participation in physical activities may help adolescent promote their life satisfaction. Thus, education experts should develop various exercise curriculums to encourage participation in physical activities.

디지털시대에 적합한 정보활용능력 교육을 기획하여 실시하는 것은 현대 도서관의 핵심기능이다. 따라서 본 연구는 국립중앙도서관 및 국내의 유관 기관에서 이루어지는 디지털 정보활용능력 교육현황을 분석하고 이와 동시에 대국민 서비스의 지역 거점인 공공도서관의 의견을 조사하여 향후 개선방안을 제언하고자 하였다. 연구결과 특히 공공도서관의 정보활용교육 담당자를 대상으로 한 조사에서 향후 정보활용교육에 대한 관심은 높지만, 시설 및 예산 등 필요자원의 부족으로 인해 국립중앙도서관과 같은 국가도서관과의 연계 협력이 절실한 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 조사결과를 토대로 국립중앙도서관 교육프로그램의 개선방안과 함께 공공도서관과의 연계방안을 제안하였다.

Purpose: This study was conducted in order to identify the needs of sex education for recovering male alcoholics. Methods: The participants were 17 male alcoholics. Data were collected through focus group interviews from August 2010 to February 2011, and the data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. Results: The results of the analysis were 4 categories and 10 sub-categories. The 4 categories were 'Lack of sex knowledge', 'Effects of alcohol on sex life', 'Strategies to cope with sexual dysfunction', and 'Relationship and conflict with women'. Conclusion: The findings of this study described that education for sex knowledge and safe sex life is necessary for preventing the relapse of alcoholism and supporting recovery of male alcoholics.

4차산업혁명에 따라 새로운 교육 환경이 도래하는 상황 속에서 충청남도 교육청 소속 19개 공공도서관의 활성화를 위한 새로운 방향을 모색하기 위해 현황분석과 사서, 사서교사, 전문가 대상 포커스그룹인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구방법을 통해 충청남도 교육청 소속 공공도서관의 비전으로 도서관 커뮤니티 스쿨을 통한 지식체험 에듀라이브러리를 설정하였다. 에듀라이브러리로서 공공도서관 서비스의 방향을 교육기능 특화 서비스, 생애주기 맞춤 서비스, 지식체험중심서비스, 4차산업혁명 지능정보사회 서비스로 나누어 살펴보았다. 도서관의 전통적 기능을 바탕으로 미래 공공도서관이 갖추어야 할 공간을 체험학습 공간으로 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 충남교육청 소속 도서관의 교육기능을 강화한 특화된 방향을 제시하였는데 이는 학교 및 학교도서관과 협력 방안 모색에 기여할 수 있을 것이며, 타 지역 교육청 소속 도서관의 방향성 마련에 기반을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
