Objectives: This study was conducted to confirm the relationship between role conflict, positive psychological capital, and the psychological well-being of dental hygienists and to provide data for improving professionalism by increasing the psychological well-being of dental hygienists. Methods: From May 21 to June 22, 2023, 190 data were collected through an online community of dental hygienists. The collected data were analyzed IBM SPSS program ver. 23.0 and AMOS ver. 26.0. Statistical analysis methods, convergent validity test, structural equation model analysis, and model fit were performed using independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, structural model fit test, and path analysis. Results: The lower the role conflict of dental hygienists and the higher the positive psychological capital, the higher the psychological well-being. The lower the role conflict, the higher the positive psychological capital. However, there was no mediating effect between positive psychological capital and role conflict, as it was not statistically significant. Analysis of the total effect of role conflict and positive psychological capital on psychological well-being revealed that positive psychological capital had a greater influence on psychological well-being than role conflict. Conclusions: Psychological well-being was related to positive psychological capital and role conflict. Future efforts are needed to improve positive psychological capital and psychological well-being of dental hygienists and reduce role conflict.
Purpose: This study was done to clarify the concept analysis of positive psychological capital. Methods: Walker and Avant's concept analysis process was used in this study. CINAHL, ProQuest, Web of science, NDSL, RISS databases from 2004 to 2016 were searched using the keywords 'Positive psychological capital' and 'PsyCap'. Sixty-one relevant articles and three book were finally selected. Results: Analysis of identified literature indicated that positive psychological capital attributes were developable potential, positive cognition, expression of emotion, multiple psychological capability, and resources with positive effect. The antecedents were goal achievement, training, leader's motivation, and supportive organizational environment. The consequences were overall wellbeing which is composed of individual's physical, psychological and social wellbeing and enhancement of work outcome. Conclusion: The findings in this study provide a definition of the concept of positive psychological capital and theoretical evidence for the future research for nurses including program development.
Recently, the importance of choosing correct pavement materials has been increasing in urban spaces and streets. Much research regarding the pavement theory and construction method have been conducted, but analysis in terms of human psychological character has not yet been performed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychological characters to 12 pavement materials, that are commonly used in our urban spaces and streets. The results of the psychological character for each pavement material can be summarized as follows: 1. The psychological characters to each pavement material were as follows: ① Clay embodies a natural, traditional, soft and intimate psychological character; ② Pebble stone has a natural, hard, cool and intimate psychological character; ③ Turf grass incorporates an intimate and soft psychological character; ④ Ceramic brick has an artificial and hard psychological character; ⑤ Tile pavement has a modern, artificial, hard and cool psychological character; ⑥ Water permeable concrete has a modern and artificial psychological character; ⑦ Flag stone has a natural psychological character; ⑧ Granite has a modern and artificial psychological character; ⑨ Portland concrete has an artificial and hard psychological character; ⑩ Small compacted brick has an artificial, dynamic and modern psychological character; ⑪ Wood block pavement has a natural and traditional psychological character; ⑫ Asphalt concrete pavement has a modern, hard and artificial character. 2. On the results of the cluster analysis regarding psychological indexes for 12 pavement materials, pavement materials were categorized in 3 clusters. Among them, one cluster was mainly used as the most popular pavement material in our urban spaces and streets. From this point of view, psychological character for pavement material in our urban spaces and streets was not as various as we expected. 3. In conclusion, the proper selection of pavement materials was very important and the factors affecting the human psychological character should be considered in the design of urban spaces and streets.
Purpose With the development of Social Network Service(SNS) and mobile devices, many companies have been using the Facebook as a Word-of-Mouth(WOM) channel. This study examines the effects of psychological distance and message type on WOM using the Facebook's real messages. And the moderating effect of the message type on the relationship between psychological distance and WOM was also analyzed. Design/methodology/approach A content analysis was used as a research method. A total 7,483 messages were collected from 50 companies' Facebook Fanpage (based on the ranking of socialbakers.com) and content analysis was conducted using human coding. As the influencing variables, the message type and psychological distance and the number of 'Likes', 'Share', and 'Comment' were used as the dependent variable. The R3.4.4 was used to perform descriptive statistics, cross-tab analysis, and analysis of variance(ANOVA). Findings First, a larger proportion of Facebook messages have close psychological distance for all message types(information, advertisement, event, and customer relationship). Second, 'Like' and 'Comment' number were significantly higher in messages of close psychological distance. Third, the effects of psychological distance on 'Like', 'Share', and 'Comment' number were different according to message type. However, 'advertisement' message type had significantly more numbers for all WOMs('Like', 'Share', and 'Comment') in messages with close psychological distance.
As artificial intelligence is actively studied, chatbot systems are being applied to various fields. In particular, many chatbot systems for psychological counseling have been studied that can comfort modern people. However, while most psychological counseling chatbots are studied as rule-base and deep learning-based chatbots, there are large limitations for each chatbot. To overcome the limitations of psychological counseling using such chatbots, we proposes a novel psychological counseling AI chatbot system. The proposed system consists of a GPT-2 model that generates output sentence for Korean input sentences and an Electra model that serves as sentiment analysis and anxiety cause classification, which can be provided with psychological tests and collective intelligence functions. At the same time as deep learning-based chatbots and conversations take place, sentiment analysis of input sentences simultaneously recognizes user's emotions and presents psychological tests and collective intelligence solutions to solve the limitations of psychological counseling that can only be done with chatbots. Since the role of sentiment analysis and anxiety cause classification, which are the links of each function, is important for the progression of the proposed system, we experiment the performance of those parts. We verify the novelty and accuracy of the proposed system. It also shows that the AI chatbot system can perform counseling excellently.

This study tried to find various alternatives to live the rest of life positively by examining whether satisfaction with work in old age has a positive effect on psychological adjustment in old age. Using the 15th (2020) data of the Korea Welfare Panel Study (KOWEPS), 117 men and 355 women were analyzed as a sample to verify the effect of job participation satisfaction among the elderly on psychological adjustment. The results of the regression analysis in this paper (F=11.680, p<.001) were analyzed to be significant. The results showed gender (β=-.192, p<.001), age (β=2.004, p<.001), and job participation satisfaction (β=-3.726, p<.001). Therefore, it was found to have an effect on psychological adaptation. In terms of gender, it was found that men had higher psychological adaptability than women, and that the lower the age, the higher the psychological adaptability. As a result, it was confirmed that the elderly's job participation is a simple economic part of the elderly, and the psychologically positive influence increased. The higher the job participation satisfaction, the higher the psychological adaptability.
The purpose of this study is to identify psychological anxiety factors related to firefighters' field activities and suggest improvement measures. To investigate the actual status of psychological anxiety factors, a survey was conducted on approximately 3,500 current firefighters, and the responses of 505 people who participated in the survey were analyzed. As a research method, frequency analysis and cross-analysis were conducted according to the general characteristics of the participants to determine the actual level of psychological anxiety in each work field and the results were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was statistically confirmed that firefighters feel a lot of psychological burden due to legal and institutional inadequacies during dispatch, return, or field activities, and frequent friction with civil servants is also a major cause of psychological anxiety. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it is proposed to establish a permanent legal support team in each city and province, designate and operate a hospital dedicated to psychological treatment, and establish a special provision for traffic accidents during the return of fire trucks so that firefighters can concentrate on their duties without psychological anxiety. do.

The rapid progress of social media allows more people to express their feelings and opinions online. Many data on social media contains people's emotional information, which can be used for people's psychological analysis and emotional calculation. This research is based on the simplified psychological scale algorithm of multi-theory integration. It aims to accurately analyze people's psychological emotion. According to the comparative analysis of algorithm performance, the results show that the highest recall rate of the algorithm in this study is 95%, while the highest recall rate of the item response theory algorithm and the social network analysis algorithm is 68% and 87%. The acceleration ratio and data volume of the research algorithm are analyzed. The results show that when 400,000 data are calculated in the Hadoop cluster and there are 8 nodes, the maximum acceleration ratio is 40%. When the data volume is 8GB, the maximum scale ratio of 8 nodes is 43%. Finally, we carried out an empirical analysis on the model that compute the population's psychological and emotional conditions. During the analysis, the psychological simplification scale algorithm was adopted and multiple theories were taken into account. Then, we collected negative comments and expressions about Japan's discharge of radioactive water in microblog and compared them with the trend derived by the model. The results were consistent. Therefore, this research model has achieved good results in the emotion classification of microblog comments.
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers and their organizational commitment. The subjects of this study were 230 social welfare facility workers in OO city, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. Analysis was conducted using the SPSS program, including frequency analysis, reliability analysis and correlation analysis, and regression analysis on the causal relationship between variables. The results of the study showed that the psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers had a meaningful effect on their emotional commitment, continuous commitment and normative commitment. These results confirmed that the higher the psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers, the higher the sub-factors of organizational commitment, such as emotional, continuous, normative commitment, resulting in positive effects on the achievement of goals and values that are pursued by the welfare facilities. This study aims to become foundational data for the improvement of working conditions to improve psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers to increase organizational commitment.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to verify a role of organizational culture as antecedents to influence psychological empowerment of organizational members, focusing on service workers of casino companies. Therefore, this study sought to examine the question of each clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy culture that the workers perceive to influence their psychological empowerment. Thus, the current study examined the relationship between organizational culture and the psychological empowerment by empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - This study chose four domestic casino companies that are run only for foreigners. Using an offline survey, it analyzed the questionnaire data of the 249 surveys collected from employees working in the sales and service sectors. Independent variables were four types of organizational culture: clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy. Dependent variables were four subcategories of psychological empowerment: meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact. As research methods, the study applied descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results - Among the organizational culture types, the clan and adhocracy cultures, which emphasize flexibility and autonomy, were relatively more important for the psychological empowerment of workers than the hierarchy and market cultures. Clan culture was the most important factor in terms of meaning and competence, and adhocracy culture was the most important factor in self-determination and impact. However, the hierarchy and market cultures that pursue control and stability were also cultural types that positively affected psychological empowerment of the workers. Hierarchy culture showed positive effects on meaning, competence, and impact except self-determination, and market culture had positive effect only on competency. Conclusions - The study found that organizational culture is an important predictor of psychological empowerment of the employees in casino companies and that important organizational culture types may be different for each sub-factor of psychological empowerment. It suggests that casino companies have to try to recognize and secure diverse organizational culture in order to activate psychological empowerment of their employees because they can provide quality service for customers. Therefore, it is necessary to create a harmonious and balanced culture between promoting flexible and autonomous organizational atmosphere, and stably controlling and operating the organization.
