Proxy Management Protocol for based on Verifier for Efficient Proxy Signature (효율적인 위임서명을 위한 검증자 중심의 위임관리 프로토콜)

  • Proxy signature schemes based on delegation of warrant are frequently studied in these days. Proxy signature schemes that used in these days have some problems about the security. Especially, it is difficult to prevent misuse of certification and private key. In this thesis, we propose the more stronger security structure by turning the point from original signer with proxy signer to original signer with verifier, and the proposed protocol is more stronger than previous scheme and can be applied to various PKI based application.

Proxy Signatures based on XTR Cryptosystem (XTR 암호 시스템 기반의 대리 서명)

  • The XTR public key system has advantage of short key length and fast computing speed. So, the XTR is used usefully in complicated operation. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm of double exponentiation operation and a proxy signature protocol based on the XTR. The double exponentiation operation should be executed to apply XTR for the proxy signature protocol. But this algorithm is inappropriate, because two secret key has to be blown in existent operation algorithm. New algorithm enable double exponentiation operation with proxy signer's secret key and public information. And the XTR is used to generation and verification of proxy at proxy signature protocol. Therefore proxy signature based on the XTR has basic advantage of the XTR. These advantage can be used in internet as well as mobile.

A Digital Nominative Proxy Signature Scheme for Mobile Communication (이동 통신에서 적용 가능한 수신자 지정 대리 서명 방식)

  • Based on the development of mobile communication, the future mobile communication systems are expected to provide higher quality of multimedia services for users than today\`s systems. Therefore, many technical factors are needed in this systems. Especially the secrecy and the safety would be obtained through the introduction of the security for mobile communication. In this paper, we presents a digital nominative proxy signature scheme that processes a user\`s digital signature and encryption using the proxy-agent who has more computational power than origins in mobile communication. The proposed scheme provides non-repudiation and prevents creating illegal signature by the origin and proxy-agent in a phase of proxy signature processing. Also this scheme satisfies the confidentiality and safety in the mobile communication through a confirming signature by the right receiver.

Design of a Protocol to Delegate Signing Right for Multi-level Proxy Signature (다단계 대리서명을 위한 권한위임 프로토콜 설계)

  • Proxy signature schemes which allows original signer to delegate proxy signer to sign message on its behalf have a considerable amount of interest from researchers since Mambo[1] and have found many practical applications such as distributed network, Grid computing and electronic commerce. Araki[6] extended them to multi-level proxy signature. But it could not satisfy some security requirement. In this paper we propose a protocol to delegate signing right to another entity for multi-level proxy signature. Our protocol do not require secure channel and guarantee that nobody is able to repudiate delegation or acceptance of signing right, it is impossible for anyone to generate signature except designed and original signer can withdraw the delegation before expiration if it is necessary.

  • 대리 서명 방식은 전자서명 방식의 한 응용분야로써 1996년 Mambo[1]에 의하여 처음으로 제안되었으며, 이후 다양한 특성을 갖는 Schnorr 서명 기반 대리 서명들이[2,3]에서 제안되었다. 특히 B.Lee[3]은 대리 서명키의 오용을 막을 수 있는 강한 대리 서명기법(Strong Proxy Signature Scheme, SPSS)을 제시하였다. 그러나 이 기법에 대하여[6]은 서명위조 공격에 안전하지 않음을 기술하였다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 공격을 피할 수 있도록 방법을 제시하면서 더불어 이를 응용한 대리은닉 서명(proxy blind signature)을 제안한다.

Signcryption Schemes with Forward Secrecy (Forward Secrecy를 제공하는 Signcryption 기법들)

  • Y. Zheng introduced a new type of cryptograghic primitive as \"signcryption\", which combines a function of digital signature scheme with a symmetric key encryption algorithm. Signcryption doesn\`t only provide authenticity and confidentiality in a single step, but also give more efficient computation than the traditional \"signature-then-encryption\". And C. Gamage proposed a proxy-signcryption that efficiently combines a proxy signature with the signcryption. But, in the proposed signcryption schemes, one who obtains the sender\`s private key can recover the original message of a signcrypted text. That is, forward secrecy is not offered by the signcryption scheme with respect to the sender\`s private key. In this paper, we will propose a modified signcryption of Zheng\`s signcryption and a variant of proxy-signcryption with forward secrecy.ith forward secrecy.

  • In real life, we frequently use th proxy signatrue by delegating one's own privileges. It is necessary to distribute the data related to privilege delegation securely in order to use such a proxy signature in the Internet. However, inorder to use the secure proxy signature, we need to have some mechanism to prevent a proxy signer from misuse of privileges by applying proxy certificate and a privilege delegation mechanism to manage information with related to privilege delegarion. In addition, we have implemented the prototype to demonstrate the possible proxy signature service using proxy certificate.

  • C. Gamage 등은 M. Mambo 의 대리 서명 방시과 Y. Zheng의 signcryption 방식을 이용하여 사용자가 상대 적으로 계산 능력이 뛰어난 서버에 의존하여 암호화 및 서명을 생성할 수 있는 proxy-signcryption 방식을 제안하였다 그러나 그들이 제안한 방식을 실제 응용에 적용할 경우 사용자가 proxy agent를 대신하여 정당한 proxy-signcryption을 생성할 수 있을 뿐만아니라 자신이 전송한 메시지에 대해 부인하는 경우 리를 판단할 수 없으므로 proxy agent를 보호 할 수 없다는 문제점이 있다 따라서 본 논문에서는 대리인 보호형 대리 서명 방식과 N. Asokan 의 S3(Server Supported Signnatures)를 이용하여 proxy agent를 보호할 수 있고 송신자 부인 봉쇄를 제공하여 실제 응용에 적용할 수 있는 proxy-signcryption 방식을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 본 논문에서 제안하는 proxy-signcryption 방식은 한국형 디지털 서명 표준안인 KCDSA(Korean Certificate-based Digital Signature Algorithm)를 이용한다.

An One-time Proxy Signature Scheme Suitable for Mobile Communications (이동 통신 환경에 적합한 일회용 대리 서명 방식)

  • According to the development of mobile communications, many people have been offered high qualify of the application services using portable terminals. But those works nay have many vulnerabilities and have the limit of excutaions. Because the application services are provided in mobile network and the performance of portable terminals is lower than that of base stations. To improve these problems, in this paper, we propose one-time proxy signature scheme that can reduce the computational ctsost on a user and prevent a proxy agent's dishonesty. The proposed scheme is based on the KBLK scheme [2] which applied the fail-stop signature scheme [1]. It is constructed that a proxy signer can sign only one message with a proxy key and we add anonimity to it for the user's identity protection in mobile communication like a M-commerce.

  • By proxy signatures, proposed by Mambo, a designated signer can sign original's signature instead of original signer. This paper presents new types of digital proxy signatures called partial delegation with threshold delegation. In proxy signatures for partial delegation with threshold delegation, the proxy signer's power to sign messages is shared. In conclusion, we construct proxy signature schemes satisfying our conditions.
