  • The distribution model of multimedia content is proposed, This solves the problems which are occurred by various multimedia content and the complex distribution structure. The online distribution processes in wireless environments contain many different, companent from the of offline and wire networks. The multimedia content can be very easily propagated illegally. Under these environments the seneme to protect the copyrights of multimedia content and rights of distribution entities is needed. In this paper a distribution framework of content in wireless environment based on MPFG-21 framework if proposed. This model can be adapted to DRM(digital rights management) and utilized to protect the rights of distribution entities.

  • Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA) supports a decision-making process such as establishment of environmental quality criteria. Soil quality criteria (SQC) are essential to protect soil organisms from the exposure to various soil contaminants. In this study, ERA methodologies of advanced countries for soil pollution were extensively compared to propose the ERA approach suitable for soil ecosystem in Korea. The soil ERAs in European Chemical Bureau(ECB), The Netherlands, and Canada can be classified as deterministic ecological risk assessment (DERA), and probabilistic ecological risk assessment (PERA) based on species sensitivity distribution (SSD). We propose three ERA methods according to abundance and reliability of soil ecotoxicity data. The method considered land use such as residential/agricultural, and industrial/commercial uses. The taxonomic groups of soil organism were classified as 'Class' level including different trophic levels (Magnoliopsida or Liliopsida, Clitellata, and Insecta or Secernentea). This study can be used to estimate the soil quality criteria to protect soil biota.

  • Clithon retropictus has been protected by the Ministry of Environment as an endangered species since 1998 and has been listed on the state red list of endangered species category II. It is viewed as a representative for all endangered species in the northeastern coastal waters of Korea. Most of the habitats of C. retropictus have been found to be in an unstable state because of development projects such as road construction, small stream development, irrigation for securing agricultural water, and flood prevention. These habitats are damaged by small stream maintenance projects and development, and the risk of damage is increasing and active efforts are needed in order to protect them. Although the Ministry of Environment is striving to preserve this endangered species, the habitat of C. retropictus is still facing external threats because it spreads to only a small area at high densities. Therefore, in order to protect the habitat of C. retropictus, a level II endangered species, it is urgent to make an effort to minimize habitat damage and to take measures for its protection.

  • Wetlands considered to be an important natural resources because they provide biodiversity and habitat for species to breed and survive. In this regard, many countries in the world provide wetlands and have policies and laws to protect them. In Korea we hosted RAMSAR COP-10 at Changwon in 2008 representing Korea's endeavor to wetland protection. But, in the process of development Wetlands are easy target to be lost due its easy access and the laws and regulations to protect them are relatively weak. Thus, this research focused on the introduction of No Wetland Loss(NWL) and we can achieve wetland protection in the economy market ways. Thus, NWL should consider 1) a clear definition of NWL and harmony and consensus of introduction of NWL, 2) considering most wetlands be private we need a financial support for securing wetlands, 3) inventories for wetlands in Korea, draw a line of demarcation, technic to evaluate wetlands, 4) wetland restoration considering function of ecosystem not total amount of wetlands. Wetland protection should be a part of Basic Law of Water Management which in its progress and we need further studies on wetland protection because of watershed management, deserted agricultural paddies, etc.

  • Global environment is getting deteriorated at an alarming rate. Eco-school could be one of the effective solutions to protect our environment and a good sample of architecture to economize in total energies, resources and greenhouse gases. In case of our country, the study of eco-school planning is not sufficient compared with other countries, so this paper would be a good study on the indoor environment of the classroom by surveying their opinions and ideas from the group of users in elementary school. The result of this study shows that the proper installation of building equipment and nature ventilation system is necessary to provide delightful environment for the students and to save the energy. To ensure that we have adequate saving and protection, it is necessary to change the existing appraisal standard.

  • This study had the following aims: (1) To examine the significance of an eco-friendly environment based on the experiences of adventure sports participants, and to identify eco-friendly behaviors; (2) To review the characteristics of adventure sports that are held in a natural environment, as well as the existing problems in different adventure sports fields (3) To conduct an analysis of various eco-friendly behaviors and of the efforts that are being exerted to address a wide range of problems related to environmental pollution, by employing qualitative research methods, in a bid to ultimately present the symbiotic, coexistent, and harmonious relations between nature, sports, and humans. Ten individuals who were engaging in the adventure sports of scuba diving and paragliding were selected for the study, and the gathered data were analyzed based on the "surjection", "unit", "sign", and "subject" factors. The results of the analysis show that most of the adventure sports participants who were the subjects of the study believe that an eco-friendly environment helps protect and preserve nature, which is the basis of human life that adventure sports flourish in a natural environment that nature sustains adventure sports and that dealing carelessly with nature, or concentrating on the exploitation of nature for development purposes a real danger to its preservation. It was established in the study that keen adventure sports participants, or those who have a passion for and a thriving career in adventure sports, can do much to address environmental problems. The results of the study demonstrate that the link between sports and nature will promote a keen interest in and love for nature among sports enthusiasts as well as an awareness of the need to protect and preserve it, which will in turn lead them to develop a desire to do such. When these are realized, concrete images of eco-friendly behaviors will be seen on the part of a greater number of people.

  • This paper is to provide problems and changes to be don Korean Green Building Certification Criteria, which are similar to American Leed certification and Japanese CASBBE, reorganizing and comparing those systems with domestic system. Normally, those certification program is very similar, but have some differences in the view to the site and environment chapter. That difference will be change to the right way that protect the nature states of the environment. Therefore, this study is going to base data to first step of the process for modify the differency problem.

  • With the rapid progress of society and economic growth, more and more factories are put into construction, although to a certain extent to promote the development of our country's economy, but the waste gas and waste water produce also harm the environment.Among them, air pollution causes great damage to the environment and harms human health. In order to protect people's safety and health, people began to look for some measures to control air pollution, one of the most effective way is to plant more green plants, using plants for air purification.

  • The cyber attacks on the computer system in nowadays are focused on works that do not operate specific application. The main key point that we protect information security system has an access control to keep an application. Most of system has a main function to protect an infrastructure such as hardware, network and operating system. In this paper, we have presented an intrusion tolerance system that can service an application in spite of cyber attacks. The proposed system is based on the middle ware integrating security mechanism and separate function of application and intrusion tolerance. The main factor we use security system in nowadays is service to keep a persistency. The proposed intrusion tolerance system is applicable to such as medical, national defense and banking system.

  • It is necessary to develop the one stop system in order to protect our marine environment rapidly from oil spill accident. The purpose of this study is to develop real time database for oil spill prediction modeling and implement real time prediction modelling with ESI and server-client GIS based user interface. The existing oil spill prediction model cannot provide one stop information system for public and government who should protect sea from oil spill accident. The development of multi user based information system permits integrated handling of real time meteorological data from external ftp. A server-client GIS based model is integrated on the basis of real time database and ESI map to provide the result of the oil spill prediction model. End users can access through the client interface and request analysis such as oil spill prediction and GIS functions on the network as their own purpose.
