The axiomatic geometry unit of the space figure in Mathematics II in the expository book of high school math curriculum (published by Ministry of Education, June 20, 1995) suggests some teaching points to bear in mind, so as not to make use of the system of axiom. However, it doesn't take the axiom about the space geometry as a starting point of argument, and so many textbooks can be found, in which intuitively true propositions are proved acceptable by the logical ambiguous statements. Thus, this study analyzes the contents of axiomatic geometry in high school math II textbooks and draws their problems. As an alternative improvement, 3 kinds of axiom on the space geometry and some important propositions, which are basic to proofs of proposition, will be presented here in this paper.

This paper presents an analysis of Korean middle managers' decision-making processes. The sample included the observations of decisions made by 17 groups with 5 to 7 members each. The 5 hour-long, in average, decision processes were analysed by a modified system of Fisher's(1970) Interaction Process Analysis. The results showed that Korean managers followed alternative-focused decision processes, as opposite to value-focused ones. That is, the decision-making groups showed a strong trend to elaborate on alternative generation and evaluation right after the situation analysis. They tended to discuss the objectives of decision and relevant criteria only to resolve conflicts arisen during the evaluation process of alternatives. The analysis also showed that a decision proposition was more frequently followed by negative responses than positive ones and by interpretative evaluations than substantiative ones. The lessons from this study suggest a direction for the development of group decision support systems tailored for Korean cultural characteristics. This study is also meaningful as the first observation and empirical analysis of Korean middle managers' decision-making processes.

Compost stability represents the state of microbiological activity and measurements of respiration either through $CO_2$ evolution or $O_2$ uptake should provide the best indication of this state. Hog manure amended with sawdust was composted in a pilot-scale reactor vessels using continuous and intermittent aeration for 3 weeks. In this study we evaluated the $CO_2$ respiration rate effect of aeration method on the reduction of $CO_2$ evolution, and investigated the stability of fresh and finished compost for plant growth. The intermittently aerated composting is a practical proposition for a very stable compost making. The $CO_2$ respiration rate in the fresh and finished compost during intermittently aerated composting was maintained from 0.3 to 1.4 and was good for use in horticulture, while the continuously aerated composting was 7 to 23 and needed more time for compost curing.

Hotel industry publications demonstrate a keen interest in the revenue enhancing potential of yield management, but there has been little research on the extent to which this pricing technique is actually utilized by hotel general managers. This research tests the proposition that there are eight basic elements of yield management in hotels. The degree to which yield management is practiced is indicated by the extent that these eight elements are in place. It was found that there is a positive relationship between a managers perception of his or her own yield management utilization and the extent to which the eight elements are used. It was also found, however, that while 77% of hotels claim to be utilizing yield management techniques extensively, very few are using all of the basic elements in their efforts to maximize revenue.

Brain drain of scientists and technologists to the United States from other countries is a phenomenal issue due to the potential developmental impacts it could have on sending countries. Immigration policies undoubtedly play the major part to shape the human resource outcomes. There has been a common sense explanation to the brain drain trend, which states that the lower English language requirements in the scientific and technology jobs compared to other high skill brain drain jobs offer immigrants more favorable employment opportunities. These and other language related variables are used with standard human capital model variables to assess the validity of the common sense proposition.

In this paper we present a theoretical framework for the network design with delay QoS guarantee to a voice at the packet level. Especially, we propose a method for estimating the bandwidth at the ingress edge routers accommodating the voice connections and data sessions in the next-generation If network. First, we describe network architecture for VoIP (Voice over IP) services in the NGN (Next Generation Network). After that, we propose a procedure for dimensioning the bandwidth at the output port of a router that accommodates voice and data traffic using the non-preemptive queuing system with strict priority service scheme. Via numerical experiments we illustrate the implication of the proposition.

과거의 전통적인 상거래 방식에서 벗어나 온라인을 이용한 전자상거래 분야의 발전이 급속도로 이루어지고 있다. 전자상거래의 한 분야인 온라인 경매시장에 대한 관심과 기술적 발전으로 인하여 온라인 경매가 성황리에 진행중이다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 경매에 대한 전반적인 이론, 유형, 기술, 경매 시스템들에 대해 살펴간 후, 시스템의 분석된 내용을 바탕으로 하여 간단한 경매사이트를 구축하였다. 경매사이트에 등록 후 진행중인 입찰상황을 실시간으로 모니터링 해오는 기법을 구현하였다. 실시간 시스템에 관한 모델을 제안하고 경매상황을 시각적으로 구현하는 모델을 제안하였다. 향후 연구과제는 상용으로 진행중인 여러 경매사이트 접근에 대한 한계성을 극복할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고 온라인 경매분야의 활성화에 기여하고자 한다.

최근 다양한 보안 사고들이 발생함에 따라 보안의 중요성이 대두되고 분야를 가리지 않고 일어나는 보안 이슈에 대응하기 위한 개발이 다양화되고 있다. 이 중 블록체인 기반 암호화폐의 일종인 이더리움(Ethereum)의 탈중앙화 어플리케이션(DApp) 시스템이 이슈화되었다. DApp을 이용하여 개발된 취약점 분산 관리 솔루션은 DApp의 기능과 장점을 포함한다. 취약점 분산관리 솔루션은 현 시대의 데이터 관리 구조의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 대책으로 제시되며 필요성을 드러낸다. 또한, 기존의 중앙 집중형 시스템에서 벗어나 솔루션의 이점을 활용하여 사용 영역을 확장할 수 있다.

The United States of America is privileged in that social stratification is not directly linked to the division of powers. Nonetheless, America endured the devastating Civil War only to consolidate her national identity when a nation was not defined. In fact, state governments preexisted as a sovereign long before the federal government came into existence as a national government. As a consequence, intergovernmental relations have persistently been contested long after the Civil War ended. In contrast, the European Union was founded on the political will to establish regional integration such that her member states would never repeat the bloodshed in catastrophic wars. Since the principle of subsidiarity precipitated political endeavor in regional integration, the EU developed into a bifurcated system of transnational and international organizations. In this paper, I evaluate the US and the EU by applying the perspective of federalism in which separation and integration are perennially at tension.

Authenticated Encryption scheme in RFID system is the important issue for ID security. But, implementing authenticated Encryption scheme in RFID systems is not an easy proposition and systems are often delivered for reasons of complexity, limited resources, or implementation, fail to deliver required levels of security. RFID system is so frequently limited by memory, performance (or required number of gates) and by power drain, that lower levels of security are installed than required to protect the information. In this paper, we design a new authenticated encryption scheme based on the EC(Elliptic Curve)'s x-coordinates and scalar operation. Our scheme will be offers enhanced security feature in RFID system with respect to user privacy against illegal attack allowing a ECC point addition and doubling operation.
