It is very important for performance of information system that we make an effort to raise user's satisfaction by continuously grasping user's requirement by evaluation of PMIS based on ASP service quality and reflecting this to information system. However, It is lack that developments of suitable evaluation index of PMIS based on ASP service quality. Hereupon, In this study, we propose the evaluation indicators. First, The evaluation area is classified by form the foundation of D & M IS Success Model (2003); system quality, information quality, service quality. Second, The detail evaluation item which include considerations which are gotten through investigation of the construction industry and PMIS based on ASP is grouping by form the foundation SERVQUAL which is a service quality evaluation tool proposed PZB(1988). It is suitable to evaluate PMIS based on ASP service quality in construction industry and able to evaluate various aspects.

The role of information systems(IS) is far more important in business operations today. Managers recognize information as a major resource of the organization, and non-expert end users positively participate in information system development processes. This phenomenon is considered user-led information system development(ULD), where users define the information requirements, oversee system testing, manage system development, and lead the overall project. Based on a socio-technical approach, this study examines the impact of ULD on IS success. This paper also investigates the moderating effects of various contextual factors on the relationships between ULD and the success. The questionnaire was developed and the data was collected from the end users who participated in implementing ERP systems. The results showed that ULD positively affects the success. For the moderating variables, IT complexity was found to have a strong effect on the relationship between ULD and the success while business complexity and top management support have partial effects. Surprisingly, resource adequacy was not found to have the effect. This study provides academia and practitioners with a number of implications and guidelines regarding why and when to introduce ULD in their IS development initiatives.

The purpose of this research is empirically investigating organizational/managerial factors affecting BPR implementation between Korean and US companies. And we compared the critical success factors and business innovation performance of Korean companies to those of US companies based on the prior research. Seven variables that represent success of BPR implementation are identified. They are : (1) reduction of process time (2) reduction of process cost (3) upgraded skill or knowledge (4) improved quality of process output (5) improved quality of work life (6) responsiveness to customer need (7) overall perception of BPR success. The result showed that the performance of US companies is better than that of Korean companies. Especially level of overall perception of BPR success of US companies is more high than that of Korean companies. The reason is that business innovation of Korean companies is focused on functional unit and incremental improvement.

Nowadays the Design-Build Delivery Method in public sector has been remarkably grown up in applying owing to its merits such as shortening construction duration. The Fast-Track is the wide-using method for accelerating schedule at Design-Build projects. But the public agency is in trouble to execute Fast-Track because of the lack of guideline for its process. As a result, in some cases applying Fast-Track methods, cost and construction duration are increased more than cases of non-Fast-Track projects. In this study, through the questionnaire surveys to professionals having actual implementation experiences as a construction manager, owner or general contractor, key success vehicles of Fast-Track are induced.

Traditional procurement methods have revealed many disadvantages in construction fields such as the adversarial relationships between stakeholders. After several decades of application, partnering has shown to be an innovative arrangement that helped to reduce many problems existing in the traditional arrangement. In Vietnam, partnering has been applied for construction projects since the construction industry was facing many new challenges emanated from the global integration and economic booming. Partnering is rather new, so it needs to gain a better understanding of the new concept. This paper has identified twenty eight success factors for partnering in the Vietnamese construction industry. Five factors are considered critical to partnering success including financial security, commitment from top management, mutual trust between parties, adequate resources and effective communication. The findings could help construction practitioners to deploy the innovative procurement type and would also contribute to the global knowledge.

건설사업을 수행하기 위해서는 건설사업과 직접 또는 간접적으로 연관된 다양한 정보들이 요구된다. 본 연구는 건설CALS 통합데이터베이스를 구축하기 위하여 핵심 성공 요인을 도출하고 공공부문의 정보화 사업과 데이터베이스의 조사를 통해 건설사업 수행에 필요한 연계 대상 정보를 선정하였다. 그리고, 선정된 정보를 프로젝트 기반 정보와 일반정보로 구분하여 각각의 정보통합 방안으로 지식관리시스템을 통한 연계와 메타데이터를 통한 중계연계 방식을 제안하고 포탈환경의 건설CALS 통합데이터베이스 구축 방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to contribute reference material that provides insight into innovative process management that increases R&D output in commercializing new products. A model of a process from research to commercialization with the cumulative profit and loss curve is put forward and hypotheses related to success and failure are developed at the stages up to product launch. Seventeen large projects that have resulted in successful product launches have been examined from the initial research stage to commercialization. Prefect duration, standardized cumulative R&D expenditures and research resource concentration are analyzed in terms of statistical method and patterns in cumulative profit and loss curves after product sales, as well as the reasons for and other aspects of success/failure are investigated and analyzed. Consequently, valuable information on future management tasks has been obtained such as: (1) project duration differs depending on market sectors, product types and presence/absence of materials research (2) cumulative profit and loss curves can be categorized into four patterns (3) reasons for failure can be divided into technological and market problem categories and (4) these factors have an impact on product sales.

국내 건설산업에서 공사비가 50억원 이하인 소규모 프로젝트가 차지하는 비중은 전체 건설 프로젝트의 90%에 달하고 있다. 하지만 소규모 프로젝트에 대한 인식의 부족과 체계적 인 관리의 부재로 인해 프로젝트의 수행에 있어 많은 손실과 관리의 어려움을 느끼고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 설문조사를 실시하여 국내 소규모 프로젝트의 관리실태를 파악하였다. 소규모 프로젝트 관리방식에 관한 인식, 단계별 관리실태 및 중요도, 프로젝트 성공요소와 관리항목간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 또한 소규모 프로젝트를 수행하는 계약주체들이 효과적이고 체계적으로 관리할 수 있는 개념적 관리방안을 제시하였다.

The competitiveness of modern organizations highly depends upon organizational competencies rather than individual competencies. However, most of previous studies on project success focused on individual competencies, such as project manager's competency and leadership. Even though there are some assessment models for the organizational project competencies, they are limited in specific organizations and industries. Furthermore, it is difficult to apply them to domestic companies, especially to small and medium enterprises because some assessment items are inappropriate for them. The purpose of this study is to propose an organizational project competency assessment model that is suitable for evaluating small and medium enterprises. First, the assessment areas and items for each area are determined through extensive investigation of previous models including OPM3, CMMI, and PMBOK. Next, the weights of assessment areas and items are decided by AHP analysis of experts response in the field of the project management. Finally, a project competency assessment model with assessment sheets is proposed. The model proposed in this study might support managers of small and medium enterprises to find pros and cons of project competencies and to establish improvement plans.

Project-based learning is an innovative approach to learning that teaches a multitude of strategies critical for success in the twenty-first century. Students drive their own learning through inquiry activity, as well as work collaboratively to research and create projects that reflect their knowledge. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of eco-friendly school project activity which is applied from one of project-based learning approach on learning outcomes of students in ninth-grade environment course in middle school. The participants were given a questionnaire before and after the environmental project activities. In solving the school environment issues themselves, students have practiced invaluable problem solving skills. This study indicates that school students' awareness about the environment has positively changed by experiencing the eco-friendly school project. In addition, this project affects students' variety of environmental awareness. This project could be applied to school environmental education programs and to environment lessons, developmental activities or club activities for a positive impact on students' environmental awareness.
