The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self-empowerment and a health promoting lifestyle in climacteric women, and to provide the basic data for health promoting intervention. The subjects were 246 women who visited the sports center in Taegu, Korea and ranged in age from 40 to 59. The data was collected during the period from December 2nd to December 15th, 2001. The instruments were the revised health promoting lifestyle scale developed by Park, In Suk(1997) Originally the instruments were developed by Spreitzer(1995) and Jung Hea Joo(1998), who translated it into Korean. The data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Mean score of total empowerment was 3.76 and the subcategory 'meaning', had the highest score at 4.08. 2.Mean score of total health promoting lifestyle was 2.83 and in the subcategory, the highest degree of performance was 'sanitary life', followed by 'harmonious relationships' and 'self actualization'. The lowest degree was 'professional health management'. 3. A significant statistical difference between age, education and self-empowerment was found. 4. A significant statistical difference between age, marital status, leisure time activity (hobbies/community service) and a health promoting lifestyle was found. 5. Health promoting lifestyle was positively related to self-empowerment(r=.4592). A health promoting lifestyle was the highest positively related to the subcategory 'impact' (r=.4329). 6. The most important variable affecting the health promoting life style was impact which accounted for 19% of the total variance in stepwise multiple regression analysed. Five variables, impact, age, meaning, marital status and leisure time activity(hobbies/community service) accounted for 26% in promoting a healthy life style. From the results of the study, the following recommendations are presented : 1) Adopting the concept of self-empowerment is required in broad nursing fields. 2) Using and making a self-empowerment promoting program which can cause positive effects on a health promoting lifestyle are required. 3) It is required to check the rank of the subcategories such as meaning, competence, self determination and impact according to the subjects. 4) It is required to check the effects of all variances of self-empowerment, self-efficacy and self-esteem variances through the repeated studies.
This study aims to analysis and measure on the private security for the academic directivity and security industry for the market directivity in Korea. For this study we compare and analysis the curriculum of 15 universities in Korea and the papers which were published on "Korean Security Science Review" that is a report in a professional private security. In conclusion, 269 subjects are used as instructional materials in 15 universities, thus 103 subjects for the private security and 60 for the leisure sports and first-aid treatment, 46 for the social science, 30 for the martial arts and shooting, 16 for the secretary affairs, 14 for the foreign languages. Regarding scientistic papers, 45.7% of papers for the private security of all and 14.6% for the public security, 14.6% for the criminal, and 11.6% for the terror etc. But there are any papers for the facilities guard or security in spite of the facilities guard is pivotal role in this field. The facilities guard or security, or maybe house detective, holds 80.5% of the private security market and it is important role in this industry in Korea. Besides, considering development of private security, the security market makeup the body-guard field hold 12.2%, prevention security system by censor hold 4.1%. So, this statistics show that the facilities guard lead practically the private security industry in this field, but there are any subjects for the education and any research for the paper. Thus some modification on the universities curriculum is required, also needs activity research in the facilities guard field for the development private security.
This study aims to prepare countermeasures to prevent and minimize drowning accident in inland waters by examining the current status of inland water safety management in Korea and diagnosing the defects. The defects in current inland water safety management is analyzed in four aspects. First is the legal defect that includes the absence of legislation that directs the inland water safety management. Second is the instructional defect such as the absence of educational program for prevention of inland water accidents and lack of professional water rescue experts. Third is cooperation defect such as dispersed reporting system and lack of private-public partnership in accident response. Fourth is the defect of emergency response ability, professionalism and accident response skills due to the dispersion and overlaps of safety management systems. In order to improve these defects, this study finds the countermeasures based on the survey of water sports professions and users and its analysis as follows: legislation of '(tentatively named) special act for water safety management in inland waters' is suggested in the legal aspects. A development of inland waters safety education program and training of water accident experts are suggested in the instructional aspects. Integrated operational system for water accident management, activation of safety network and re-establishment of private-public partnership are suggested in the cooperation aspects. Systematic and efficient inland water safety management plans such as enhancement of accident response skills and expertise and integrated inland water safety management with fire department-centered system were suggested in the aspects of emergency response ability.
This research was designed to find out what is a distictive feature of the design elements of Korean women's costume and its influence by analizing the trend of Korean women's constume during the period of 1890 and 1995. The research was analized by a total of 854 random samples of clothing styles collected from materials in the museums and from articles of three leading newspapers and one of the best women's magazines in Korea. The changing trend of Korean women's costume was found out to be as follows: 1. In around 1910s, the trend of Korean women's costume has been changed into two-tier structure of both Korean and Western styles, and the typical and traditional Korean women's street wears such as 'Chang-ot' and 'Tsdechima' have been gradually diminished. 2. From 1920s, length of the Korean skirt, which was unnecessarily long and inconvenient, has been getting shorter for the convenience of walking. In addition, Korean women's underwear has become simplified, and sports wear could be seen for the first time in Korea. 3. During 1960s, the Western clothing styles have been increased rather than Korean styles as the street wear of the Korean women. 4. In 1970s, blue jeans, mini-skirts and casual wears have become a trend or fashion for women in Korea. 5. In 1980s, a fashion of unisex mode has arrived in this country, and from the year of 1987, wearing of panties among the Korean women has been increased rather than skirts wearing for the street wear. 6. During 1990s, various forma of complex styles came into being in such styles as so-called 'orange class style,' 'protruding navel T-shirts' and 'runner wear speedy.' From mid-1990s, Korean women have turned out to prefer the cute and light costumes by placing emphasis on the image of intellectual, professional and functional wears. The changing special feature of the Korean women's clothing designs could be distinctively observed during 1960s as the modernization policies in Korea have been processed during the period. The clothing trend before 1960 was to change and to solve problems of inconvenient and impractical wears, but the trend after 1960 was seen as a change to confirm a trend of the world fashion. From mid-1990s, however, preference of Korean women's self-conceited conception socially and an unquestionable changing pattern of Korean women's life.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and implications of the quality management policy through teachers' entire life in Japan case study. This article composed of four chapters; Implication and problem situation, Backgrounds and streams of the japanese teacher reform policy, Characteristics of the main policies about managing the teacher's quality through their life, and Conclusion(Japanese characteristics and the suggestion for Korea). The purpose of this study is to develop systematical components and implementation of rehabilitation physical activity by analyzing the relative importance among each factor. To achieve the purpose of this study, 20 participants were selected, and they consisted of instructors and adapted physical activity teachers and professional who have experiences in institutes and hospital where have operate program related to rehabilitation physical activity and adapted physical activity program. Delphi technique was conducted for three times by the participants. For the decision of priorities about improvement factors, AHP was performed. The results were as follows. As the result of this study, the factors of the rehabilitation physical activity consisted of six type of exercise; fitness, psychological exercise, aquatic exercise, sense & perception exercise, ambulatory exercise, and motor skills. Also, 21 sub-factors were also extracted. The result from analyzing the priorities of factors was fitness 33.2%, aquatic exercise 20.6%, psychological exercise 16.3%, sense & perception exercise 11.7%, ambulatory exercise 10.8% and motor skills 8.6%. Also, among results from the weighted state of priority factors, muscular strength and endurance were the most importance factor which had 23.4% weighting, and meditation was the least importance factor which had 0.5% weighting.
The college's beauty department, which has a globalized education system that breaks away from the uniform beauty concept, can dominate in the fierce competition with other schools, and the development and vitalization of the department is guaranteed. In addition, research on the department name is very necessary to establish internal and external PR strategies for affiliated departments and departments and to analyze the direction of realistic beauty education. Accordingly, as a result of analyzing the trends of the department and department name by classifying the universities in Yeonghonam into four regions, the departments belonging to each region of the beauty department showed the most belonging to the natural science and arts and sports departments. In addition, the names of beauty departments by region are Busan and Gyeongnam, Daegu and Gyeongbuk, Gwangju and Jeonnam, and Jeonbuk with 5 beauty departments (29.41%), 3 beauty design schools (13.04%), and 8 beauty and beauty departments. (50.00%), beauty design departments, 2 schools (33.33%). This study makes it possible to cultivate professional beauticians who cultivate an artistic and creative sense that meets the educational goals of beauty education, and it is expected that it will be provided as a very necessary basic data for the division of departments or change of department name according to detailed majors.

As of 2019, a report by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism showed that 884 diverse regional festivals are being held in the country. While there are successful festivals with large audience numbers and local economic effects, there are many festivals that only waste local budgets. Against this backdrop, the question of this study is "What are the key competences of a successful dance festival utilizing the VRIO model?" The development process and success factors of the success dance festival at home and abroad were analyzed in order to explore the key competences and specialization measures of the festival that our dance festival can take off as a successful dance festival. The purpose of the study is to examine what is the source of competitiveness of the regional festival through VRIO model, which can identify the key competencies of the festival to grow into a successful dance festival, and to derive the key competencies of the festival through the interview of the expert group(Focus Group Interview) to apply the development measures of our country's dance festival. According to the analysis, festival experts view the success factors of local festivals from various perspectives based on their empirical knowledge. The key competencies priority was 1. Theme, 2. the festival organization and professional personnel management, 3. The results came in the order of residents' participation. And the successful domestic and foreign dance festivals had their own core competencies. Growing up as a successful festival through festival management, which is worth no other festival, difficult to emulate, rare and difficult to replace, is seen as the biggest key to leading the regional festival to the world festival.

This study considered Forest Specialists, who are nurtured by the legal system through the analysis of laws and regulations under the jurisdiction of the Korea Forest Service. In particular, the transition process of forest-related laws and laws to train forest specialists were identified. In addition, changes and characteristics regarding the cultivation of professional forestry talents according to forestry policy were investigated. As a result, it was found that Forest Specialist on policy dealt with forestry success for forestry promotion, and forestry engineers dealt with technical skills for forestry industry development. In addition, according to the revision of the laws for the sustainable use of timber, wood-structural engineers, timber grade evaluators, and timber education specialists are trained separately. Forest Specialists concerned with forest welfare policies were found to train forest experts and complete specialized training courses to provide various services for forest cultural and recreation facilities, healing forests, and forest leisure sports facilities. There is an instructor for forest leisure sports. Forest welfare experts are divided into forest education experts and forest healing instructors; forest education specialists are further divided into forest interpreters, forest guides for children, and forest trekking guides. Forest Specialists on forest protection policy were found to train arboretum and garden experts for the efficient management and exhibition of arboretums. Gardens and tree doctors and tree treatment technicians for arboretums wer also trained. A tree doctor and a tree treatment technician were found to have the necessary qualifications to run a tree hospital business, diagnosing and treating tree damage. Therefore, it is thought that the Korea Forest Service is nurturing Forest Specialists with technical capabilities for forestry promotion, forest industry development, and tree treatment; and the Forest Specialists can provide education and welfare services at culture, recreation, treatment, and conservation sites in forests.
