This paper considered the impact of changing the product liability rule from consumer to producer liability on product safety under asymmetric information. In particular, it has been attempted to remove several constraints on antecedent studies. The main results of the study are as follows: under the misperception of the risk on a product, consumers may underestimate the probability of product failure. In this case, the accident rate can be lowered under the producer's liability rule. However, even under the asymmetric information, a consumer's estimation on the probability may be converged with the expected risk level, which could be called the 'rational expectation.' In this situation the probability of product failure can be lowered under the strict liability with contributory negligence. Additionally, it is possible to reduce the probability of product failure when a legal rule that imposes liability on cheapest cost avoider is admitted.

우리나라의 전통적인 명절놀이 중 윷놀이는 가족이나 친구들이 모여 남녀노소 구별 없이 즐기는 놀이다. 하나의 윷가락의 앞면이 나올 확률 p에 따른 도 개 걸 윷 혹은 모가 나올 확률을 이용하여 윷놀이에서 윷말이 경유하는 4가지 코스에 대해 각각의 코스를 경유할 확률을 계산하였다.

우리나라의 전통적인 명절놀이 중 윷놀이는 가족이나 친구들이 모여 남녀노소 구별 없이 즐기는 놀이다. 윷놀이는 윷가락을 던져 나오는 대로 4개의 윷말을 행마하여 출발지로 돌아 나오는 게임이다. 윷놀이에서 상대를 이기기 위해서는 상대에 따라 다양한 행마 전략이 있을 수 있다. 행마전략의 핵심은 가능하면 짧은 코스를 돌아 나오는 것이다. 하나의 윷가락의 앞면이 나올 확률 p에 따른 도 개 걸 윷 혹은 모가 나올 확률을 이용하여 실제 윷놀이에서 4개의 윷말이 출발한 순서에 따라 각각의 코스를 경유할 확률을 계산하였다. 이러한 코스경유확률은 윷놀이에서 행마의 전략에 이용할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 게임을 하는데 걸리는 시간을 계산하는데 유용하게 사용되어질 수 있다.

Road accidents not only caused loss of human lives but also costed 3% of gross domestic product in most of the countries. The road accidents pose significant challenges to public safety and urban transportation management. There is a need to identify the high-risk area of accidents along with the critical day of week and vulnerable time period in order to implement effective preventive measures and optimizing the resource allocation. We collected 5,012 accident data from 대구교통종합정보. This study identified the high-risk locations, days of week, and time periods for accidents in Daegu and estimated the conditional probabilities of accidents occurring based on combinations of location, day of the week, and time period. The result is visualized in the form of dashboard in Tableau. This study holds substantial practical significance for urban planners, transportation authorities, and policymakers in Daegu to strategically allocate resources for traffic management, law enforcement, and targeted safety campaigns.
