KVMF(Korean Variable Message Format) 1.0 protocol is the Army's standard tactical datalink protocol that defines standard messages and communication methods to enable data communication between various weapon systems through bitwise variable message processing. The protocol has been applied to a variety of Army weapon systems over the past decade and has contributed to upgrade the Army's operational capabilities by enabling the implementation of Network Centric Warfare (NCW), the core of modern warfare. Since the KVMF 1.0 protocol was applied, new weapon systems with new technologies have been introduced over time, and new weapon systems have new messages based on the characteristics of the weapon system. As a result, compatibility problems arose due to different message versions with existing weapon systems, and it was expected that these problems would continue to emerge in the future, considering the need for continuous message revisions. Therefore, it became necessary to solve this problem, so this paper proposed a KVMF 2.0 protocol design that guarantees compatibility between forward and backward versions. In this paper, we implemented the design as SW, and confirmed that the design worked successfully by test between forward and backward versions on test environment. Therefore, when the KVMF 2.0 protocol design is applied to a weapon system, we can expect that the weapon system can be compatible with the forward and backward versions working with the existing weapon systems as well as with the future weapon systems.

Robots are expected to expand their scope of application to the military field and take on important missions such as surveillance and enemy detection in the coming future warfare. Swarm robots can perform tasks that are difficult or time-consuming for a single robot to be performed more efficiently due to the advantage of having multiple robots. Swarm robots require mutual recognition and collaboration. So they send and receive vast amounts of data, making it increasingly difficult to verify SW. Hardware-in-the-loop simulation used to increase the reliability of mission verification enables SW verification of complex swarm robots, but the amount of verification data exchanged between the HILS device and the simulator increases exponentially according to the number of systems to be verified. So communication overload may occur. In this paper, we propose a digital twin-based communication optimization technique to solve the communication overload problem that occurs in mission verification of swarm robots. Under the proposed Digital Twin based Multi HILS Framework, Network DT can efficiently allocate network resources to each robot according to the mission scenario through the Network Controller algorithm, and can satisfy all sensor generation rates required by individual robots participating in the group. In addition, as a result of an experiment on packet loss rate, it was possible to reduce the packet loss rate from 15.7% to 0.2%.

As high-performance quantum computers are expected to be developed, studies are being actively conducted to build a post-quantum security system that is safe from potential quantum computer attacks. When the Grover's algorithm, a representative quantum algorithm, is used to search for a secret key in a symmetric key cryptography, there may be a safety problem in that the security strength of the cipher is reduced to the square root. NIST presents the post-quantum security strength estimated based on the cost of the Grover's algorithm required for an attack of the cryptographic algorithm as a post-quantum security requirement for symmetric key cryptography. The estimated cost of Grover's algorithm for the attack of symmetric key cryptography is determined by the quantum circuit complexity of the corresponding encryption algorithm. In this paper, the quantum circuit of the SCHWAEMM algorithm, AEAD family of SPARKLE, which was a finalist in NIST's lightweight cryptography competition, is efficiently implemented, and the quantum cost to apply the Grover's algorithm is analyzed. At this time, the cost according to the CDKM ripple-carry adder and the unbounded Fan-Out adder is compared together. Finally, we evaluate the post-quantum security strength of the lightweight cryptography SPARKLE SCHWAEMM algorithm based on the analyzed cost and NIST's post-quantum security requirements. A quantum programming tool, ProjectQ, is used to implement the quantum circuit and analyze its cost.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of dental students based on their experiences of online classes after taking non-face-to-face education courses for all the school semesters in 2020. For the research method, an online survey was conducted on A survey was conducted on 161 dental students enrolled in A University. The analytical method was conducted through frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The survey analysis findings showed that the satisfaction of dental students' about the non-face-to-face education course was above 4.2, and the detailed items were in the order of the appropriateness of the attendance processing method, satisfaction with recorded video lectures, and the assessment method of the course grade. In the case of the factors that affect the satisfaction of non-face-to-face education courses, the learning system and assessment method were statistically significant. The online class type that is most preferred by the students is recorded video lectures, and the highest number of participants chose 21~30 minutes as the appropriate time for the class content. It is considered that the application of the online system will continue to be used together with face-to-face education courses in the education site and various university-level efforts like systematic support are required to achieve effective learning achievements. This study only investigated the non-face-to-face education operation conditions of A University, so it cannot be generalized to all universities, but it can be used as basic data to provide education curriculum design and supportive measures for the compatibility of face-to-face and non-face-to-face courses.

Recently, multiple methods using small aircraft for geophysical exploration have been suggested as a result of the development of information and communication technology. In this study, we introduce the hybrid unmanned aircraft electromagnetic system of the Korea Institute of Geosciences and Mineral resources, which is under development. Additionally, data processing and interpretation methods are suggested via the analysis of datasets obtained using the system under development to verify the system. Because the system uses a three-component receiver hanging from a drone, the effects of rotation on the obtained data are significant and were therefore corrected using a rotation matrix. During the survey, the heights of the source and the receiver and their offsets vary in real time and the measured data are contaminated with noise. The noise makes it difficult to interpret the data using the conventional method. Therefore, we developed a recurrent neural network (RNN) model to enable rapid predictions of the apparent resistivity using magnetic field data. Field data noise is included in the training datasets of the RNN model to improve its performance on noise-contaminated field data. Compared with the results of the electrical resistivity survey, the trained RNN model predicted similar apparent resistivities for the test field dataset.

The article considers the fundamentalization of education in improving the future specialists professional training with usage of multimedia technologies by various scientists. Various points of view and approaches to defining the concepts of fundamentalization of education and multimedia technologies are identified. The concept of fundamentalization of professional training of a future specialist is based on the goals and functions of fundamentalization and - on the ways and means of achieving it, etc. Most authors agree only in their views that the fundamentalization of education is aimed at improving the quality of education and the education of the individual. Others involve the formation of a culture and worldview, increasing the creative and intellectual potential, forming the professional competence of a specialist and the potential for further education, and so on. The term multimedia refers to interactive systems that provide processing of moving and still video images, animated graphics, high-quality audio and speech. It is found out that professional training of a specialist by means of multimedia technologies includes not only the activities of the teacher and student, which form the learning process, but also the independent activity of the subject, self-development, assimilation of experience by the subject through analysis, comprehension and transformation of the field of activity in which he is included. It is revealed through the implementation of which approaches to the fundamentalization of higher professional education, it becomes possible to fully present theoretical training courses and effectively pass practical training by students, which contributes to improving the quality of training of future specialists in higher education institutions. Theoretical analysis of scientific views indicates a fairly serious attention of scientists to the problem of professional readiness of specialists and the possibility of higher educational institutions in preparing for it. At the same time, professional readiness is considered from different positions: as an active state of a person, which manifests itself in activity; as a result of activity; as goals of activity; as a quality that characterizes the attitude to solving professional problems and social situations; as a prerequisite for purposeful activity; as a form of activity of the subject; as an integral formation of personality; as a component of socio-professional culture; as a complex professionally significant neoplasm of the individual.
Although ready meals have recently increased their market share in the Korean food industry, a literature review found that the use of ready meals triggers feelings of guilt in homemakers. Such guilt arises as a result of several factors apparently related to consumers' health. Consequently, levels of guilt might be expected to vary depending on consumers' perceived health locus. The present study aims to examine (a) how health locus affects guilty feelings about ready-meal consumption, (b) how the effect varies in relation to the consumption of different types of ready meal, and (c) the relationship between consumers' guilty feelings and willingness to buy ready meals. Three dimensions of health locus of control (HLC) -internal HLC (IHLC), powerful-others HLC (PHLC), and chance HLC (CHLC)- were presumed to influence consumers' feelings of guilt in association with ready meals. Data were collected via an online survey, and participants were randomly assigned to either of two groups: one group was instructed to heat meals in a microwave (ready-to-heat [RTH] group, n=104) and the other cooked using a pan with additional ingredients (ready-to-cook [RTC] group, n=101). The study found that guilty feelings about consuming RTH meals increased in line with increased external HLCs, namely, PHLC and CHLC. For the RTC group, guilt increased in line with increased PHLC. IHLC had no significant effect on guilty feelings in either group. Willingness to buy ready meals decreased for both groups as consumers' feelings of guilt increased. Even RTC meals, which require more time and energy in food preparation, did not reduce guilty feelings among consumers with higher PHLC. RTC meals are preferable for consumers with higher CHLC, since their sense of greater involvement in the cooking process alleviates their feelings of guilt. Cooking with already prepared and uncooked ingredients brought fun and joy, both for the participants and their significant others. This interpretation may be developed into a strategic plan by ready-meal producers to strengthen their marketing strategy.
Based on Artificial Intelligence technology, AI-enabled warfare is expected to become the main issue in the future warfare. Natural language processing technology is a core technology of AI technology, and it can significantly contribute to reducing the information burden of underrstanidng reports, information objects and intelligences written in natural language by commanders and staff. In this paper, we propose a Language model-based Multi-source Information Integration (LAMII) framework to reduce the information overload of commanders and support rapid decision-making. The proposed LAMII framework consists of the key steps of representation learning based on language models in self-supervsied way and document integration using autoencoders. In the first step, representation learning that can identify the similar relationship between two heterogeneous sentences is performed using the self-supervised learning technique. In the second step, using the learned model, documents that implies similar contents or topics from multiple sources are found and integrated. At this time, the autoencoder is used to measure the information redundancy of the sentences in order to remove the duplicate sentences. In order to prove the superiority of this paper, we conducted comparison experiments using the language models and the benchmark sets used to evaluate their performance. As a result of the experiment, it was demonstrated that the proposed LAMII framework can effectively predict the similar relationship between heterogeneous sentence compared to other language models.

Successor representation (SR) is a model of human reinforcement learning (RL) mimicking the underlying mechanism of hippocampal cells constructing cognitive maps. SR utilizes these learned features to adaptively respond to the frequent reward changes. In this paper, we evaluated the performance of SR under the context where changes in latent variables of environments trigger the reward structure changes. For a benchmark test, we adopted SR-Dyna, an integration of SR into goal-driven Dyna RL algorithm in the 2-stage Markov Decision Task (MDT) in which we can intentionally manipulate the latent variables - state transition uncertainty and goal-condition. To precisely investigate the characteristics of SR, we conducted the experiments while controlling each latent variable that affects the changes in reward structure. Evaluation results showed that SR-Dyna could learn to respond to the reward changes in relation to the changes in latent variables, but could not learn rapidly in that situation. This brings about the necessity to build more robust RL models that can rapidly learn to respond to the frequent changes in the environment in which latent variables and reward structure change at the same time.

With the rise of a decentralized finance market (so called, DeFi) using blockchain technology, users and capital liquidity of decentralized finance applications are increasing significantly. The Automated Market Maker (AMM) is a protocol that automatically calculates the asset price based on the liquidity of the decentralized trading platform, and is currently most commonly used in the decentralized exchanges (DEX), since it can proceed the transactions by utilizing the liquidity pool of the trading platform even if the buyers and sellers do not exist at the same time. However, Automated Market Maker have some disadvantages since the cost efficiency of each transaction using Automated Market Maker depends on the liquidity size of some liquidity pools used for the transaction, so the smaller the size of the liquidity pool and the larger the transaction size, the smaller the cost efficiency of the trade. To solve this problem, some platforms are adopting Transaction Path Routing Algorithm that bypasses transaction path to other liquidity pools that have relatively large size to improve cost efficiency, but this algorithm can be further improved because it uses only a single transaction path to proceed each transaction. In addition to just bypassing transaction path, in this paper we proposed a Multi-Path Routing Algorithm that uses multiple transaction paths simultaneously by distributing transaction size, and showed that the cost efficiency of transactions can be further improved in the Automated Market Maker-based trading environment.
