  • Recently the fashion design has been expressed mixing trend of antipodal concept. There are shown disorganization of existing standard with eclectism, pursued more sensational fashion by the sense of unease. And there are spreaded body exposure in producing on a commercial scale for sex, are shown the phenomenon by wearing innovation inner-wear in private area are exposed out. The purpose of this study are to consider preponderantly the fashion design using corset, shown up as the motive of costume design from 1990's to 2002's, define the character of molding. and extend the width of understanding of modern fashion. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The trend of deconstructionism as one line of fashion world in the 1990's make into outer garment of inner-wear, corset has been using the main item of infra costume. The past corset was existed innerwear, but it is revived various forms by transforming outer garment of body expression consciously. 2. Corset look is shown double faced factory of the beauty of tradition and decadence, vulgarity and nobility, concealment and exposure, and are expressed boldly the free consciousness outer about woman's sex with the improvement of woman's social position. 3. The molding character of Corset look divided Eroticism, Fetishism, Deconstructionism. Futurism. The trend of Corset look design is the emphasized sexual part of lace-up and cutting line of corset, and various details of see-through, kitsch, glitter look. • This study was conducted to determine the smoke component concentration and the smoke distribution in the cambridge filter pad and cigarette filter with stalk position and grade of Korean leaf tobaccos. 12 grades of flue-cured and burley leaf tobaccos which were taken from the Kim-cheon and Ock-cheon leaf tobacco processing factory were used for this study. Six kinds of smoke components such as tar, nicotine, water, carbon monoxide(CO), carbon dioxide($CO_2$) puff No. collected in the cambridge filter pad and cigarette filter were analyzed. Also, nicotine/tar, CO/tar ratio were calculated from the analytical data. Puff no., CO, and $CO_2$ concentration of flue-cured and burley tobacco leaves at high stalk position were higher than those of low stalk position, and these components were increased in high grade of leaf tobacco. Compared with flue-cured tobacco, burley tobacco showed a little values of puff no., nicotine, and tar concentration. The pH range of burley tobaccos was broader than that of flue-cured tobaccos, and the ammonia concentration of burley tobaccos was significantly higher than that of flue-cured tobaccos. The pH value and ammonia concentration of burley tobaccos were decreased as stalk position of leaf tobaccos decreased. The distribution of smoke components collected in the cambridge filter pad and cigarette filter was different with a different grade and stalk position of tobacco leaves. In high stalk position of tobacco leaves, the portion of smoke components collected in the cambridge filter pad was also increased. The average nicotine, water, and tar removal efficiency by a cigarette filter in a flue-cured tobacco were 37%, 64%, and 48%, respectively. Compared with flue-cured tobaccos, smoke components of burley tobaccos had high nicotine and low water removal efficiency by a cigarette filter. The average ratio of nicotine/tar and CO/tar of flue-cured tobaccos and burley tobaccos were 0.097, 1.22, 0.094, and 0.97, in order. Nicotine/tar ratio was decreased and CO/tar ratio was increased in low stalk position.

  • In this paper, we have implemented a gas recognition system for classification and identification of explosive gases such as methane, propane, and butane using a sensor array and an artificial neural network. Such explosive gases which can be usually detected in the oil factory and LPG pipeline are very dangerous for a human being. We analyzed the characteristics of a multi-dimensional sensor signals obtained from the nine sensors using the principal component analysis(PCA) technique. Also, we implemented a gas pattern recognizer using a multi-layer neural network with error back propagation learning algorithm, which can classify and identify the sorts of gases and concentrations for each gas. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed gas recognition system is effective to identify the explosive gases. And also, we used DSP board(TMS320C31) to implement the proposed gas recognition system using the neural network for real time processing.

  • Several methods that have been used to manage a degasing process in recent years, such as an injection method that uses aluminum molten metal powder and chemicals, and the input method that supplies argon and nitrogen, or chlorine gas using a gas blow-tube. On the other hand, these methods have some problems, and it is a difficult process to handle pollution due to the production of considerable toxic gases, such as chlorine and fluoride gas, irregular effects, and lowering work efficiency due to the excessive processing time. The problems that are most fatal are the production of considerable sludge due to a reaction of aluminum molten metal with chemicals, loss of metals, and the decreasing life of refractory materials. To solve these problems, this study developed a technology that is related to continuous casting of molten aluminum metal and monolithic degasing apparatus.

  • Both the wet and dry types of garlic peeling machines are being presently used in domestic garlic processing factory, but the dry type is more popular than the wet type because of higher peeling efficiency. The peeling efficiency of these machines is estimated 50 to 80%, depending on the difference in garlic varieties, physical properties and moisture content of garlic samples. If the peeling time is increased in order to improve the peeling efficiency, the damage on the surface of peeled garlic and the consumption of electric power are also increased. This study was carried out to solve these problems in garlic peeling operation and to obtain the optimun design factor for the friction type separator. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The average friction coefficients of peeled and unpeeled garlic samples were 0.91 and 0.51. respectively, for the acrylic plate, and 0.96 and 0.51, respectively, for the stainless plate. 2. For the inclined acrylic pipe with the pipe length 90 cm, the inclined angle $39^{\circ}$ and the pipe diameter 45-55 mm, the falling time of peeled garlic samples was 0.2 sec, faster than unpeeled garlic samples. 3. For the inclined stainless pipe with the pipe length 90 cm, the inclined angle $34^{\circ}$, $39^{\circ}$ and the pipe diameter pipe 35 mm, the falling time of peeled garlic samples was 0.7 sec, slower than that with the pipe diameter 47mm. 4. The stainless pipe with the pipe length 80~90 cm, the inclined angle $39^{\circ}{\sim}40^{\circ}$ and the pipe diameter 40~50 mm was the most suitable as the material of friction pipe. 5. Experimental garlic peeling machine is composed of garlic sample feeding device, friction stainless pipe and hopper. The peeling efficiency was 81 to 96%, and the separating capacity, 600 gr/min.

  • Biochemical and functional properties of acid-soluble collagen (ASC) and pepsin-soluble collagen (PSC) from rockfish skin were characterized. Yield of PSC (90.0%) was higher than that of ASC (63.2%). Both ASC and the PSC consisted of ${\alpha}1$ and ${\alpha}2$ chains, and $\alpha$-cross-linked components. According to the results of hydroxylation of proline and lysine, and FT-IR, no difference between the helical structure of ASC and PSC was identified. Thermal denaturation temperature (TDT) of ASC from rockfish skin was $22.8^{\circ}C$, the same as exhibited in PSC. Both ASC and PSC were higher in water absorption capacity (WAC) and oil absorption capacity (OAC) than other vegetable proteins. According to the results of emulsifying activity (EA) and cooking stability (CS), both ASC and PSC from rockfish skin were inferior compared to the commercial emulsifier (Tween-80). The results of FT-IR suggested that the structure of PSC was slightly different when compared to that of ASC. No differences in solubility were established between ASC and PSC from rockfish skin at various pH and NaCl concentrations.

  • To enhance the effectiveness of the FMS (flexible manufacturing system), it is necessary for the manufacturing control system to be upgraded by integrating the cyber and the physical manufacturing systems. Using the CPPS (Cyber-Physical Production System) concept, this study proposes a 4-stage vertical integration and control framework for an aircraft parts manufacturing plant. In the proposed framework, the process controller prepares the operations schedule for processing work orders generated from the APS (advanced planning & scheduling) system. The scheduled operations and the related control commands are assigned to equipments by the dispatcher of the line controller. The line monitor is responsible for monitoring the overall status of the FMS including work orders and equipments. Finally the process monitor uses the simulation model to check the performance of the production plan using real time plant status data. The W-FMCS (Wing rib-Flexible Manufacturing Control & Simulation) are developed to implement the proposed 4-stage CPPS based FMS control architecture. The effectiveness of the proposed control architecture is examined by the real plant's operational data such as utilization and throughput. The performance improvement examined shows the usefulness of the framework in managing the smart factory's operation by providing a practical approach to integrate cyber and physical production systems.

  • Energy Consumption Predictions for Industries has a prominent role to play in the energy management and control system as dynamic and seasonal changes are occurring in energy demand and supply. This paper introduces and explores the steel industry's predictive models of energy consumption. The data used includes lagging and leading reactive power lagging and leading current variable, emission of carbon dioxide (tCO2) and load type. Four statistical models are trained and tested in the test set: (a) Linear Regression (LR), (b) Radial Kernel Support Vector Machine (SVM RBF), (c) Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM), and (d) Random Forest (RF). Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) are used for calculating regression model predictive performance. When using all the predictors, the best model RF can provide RMSE value 7.33 in the test set.
