잣죽의 제조조건이 이화학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Processing Condition on Physicochemical Characteristics in Pine Nut Gruel)

  • 잣죽의 제조조건이 죽의 이화학적 특성에 대한 영향을 조사하였다. 잣죽의 제조조건인 주입액의 양, 잣 첨가량 및 호화를 위한 가열조리시간을 요인변수로 중심합성계획법에 의하여 실험을 설계하고 이화학적 특성을 반응변수로 하여 그 조사 결과에 대하여 반응표면분석을 진행하였다. 주입액의 양, 잣 첨가량과 가열조리시간이 죽의 점도, 퍼짐성, 고형분 함량에 대한 영향은 5%와 1% 수준에서 유의성이 인정되어 제조조건이 모두 점도, 퍼짐성 그리고 고형분 함량에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. pH에 대한 모델식과 세가지 제조조건은 설정된 범위내에서 그 유의성이 인정되지 않아 잣죽의 제조에 있어서 제조조건의 변화는 죽의 pH에 큰 영향을 주지 않았다. 색도에 대한 영향은 주입액의 양과 잣 첨가량이 조리시간보다 더 큰 영향을 주었고 L값은 76-80사이, a값은 마이너스 수치, b값은 2-7사이에서 변화하여 죽의 색이 아주 옅은 황색임을 알 수 있었다. 총당과 amylose 함량에 대한 영향이 가장 큰 것은 주입액의 양이었고 잣 첨가량과 가열조리시간의 영향은 그다지 크지 않았다. 이들 이화학적 특성중 고형분 함량은 점도, 총당, amylose 함량 그리고 색도와 높은 상관을 나타내었고 또 주입액의 양이 고형분 함량에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 잣죽의 제조에 있어서 주입액의 양은 가장 주요한 조건이라고 생각된다.

수국차(Hydrangea serrata Seringe)의 액상 가공을 위한 추출조건 설정 (Extraction Condition of Beverage Base for the Processing of Hydrangea serrata Seringe)

  • 수국차를 액상가공의 원료로 개발하기 위한 기초로서 온도, 농도 등 적정 추출조건을 설정할 목적으로 열수가열과 침출로 나누어 조사하였다. 열수가열은 10$0^{\circ}C$ 열수로 0.1%∼0.4%(w/v) 농도에서 2분간 가열하였으며, 침출은 온도 4$0^{\circ}C$∼10$0^{\circ}C$ 경우와 농도 0.2%∼ 1.0%(w/v)로 나누어 각각 2분간 침출하였다. 시료는 단맛을 중심으로 쓴맛, 떫은맛, 색, 향 등을 관능검사하고 통계처리로 최적 조건을 설정하였다. 수국차를 가열한 경우 쓰고 떫은맛이 강하였으며 기호도가 최대 4점 미만으로서 침출의 경우와 비교하여 낮은값을 나타내었다. 수국차의 최적 추출조건은 10$0^{\circ}C$에서 2분간 침출한 경우로서 0.5%(w/v) 농도에서 종합적으로 가장 높은 기호도를 나타내었다.

Optimization of Etching Profile in Deep-Reactive-Ion Etching for MEMS Processes of Sensors

  • This paper reports the results of a study on the optimization of the etching profile, which is an important factor in deep-reactive-ion etching (DRIE), i.e., dry etching. Dry etching is the key processing step necessary for the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) and various microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS). Large-area etching (open area > 20%) under a high-frequency (HF) condition with nonoptimized processing parameters results in damage to the etched sidewall. Therefore, in this study, optimization was performed under a low-frequency (LF) condition. The HF method, which is typically used for through-silicon via (TSV) technology, applies a high etch rate and cannot be easily adapted to processes sensitive to sidewall damage. The optimal etching profile was determined by controlling various parameters for the DRIE of a large Si wafer area (open area > 20%). The optimal processing condition was derived after establishing the correlations of etch rate, uniformity, and sidewall damage on a 6-in Si wafer to the parameters of coil power, run pressure, platen power for passivation etching, and $SF_6$ gas flow rate. The processing-parameter-dependent results of the experiments performed for optimization of the etching profile in terms of etch rate, uniformity, and sidewall damage in the case of large Si area etching can be summarized as follows. When LF is applied, the platen power, coil power, and $SF_6$ should be low, whereas the run pressure has little effect on the etching performance. Under the optimal LF condition of 380 Hz, the platen power, coil power, and $SF_6$ were set at 115W, 3500W, and 700 sccm, respectively. In addition, the aforementioned standard recipe was applied as follows: run pressure of 4 Pa, $C_4F_8$ content of 400 sccm, and a gas exchange interval of $SF_6/C_4F_8=2s/3s$.

조합 합성 시스템의 미세유체반응기를 이용한 CdSe 양자점 합성 및 분석 (Synthesis and analysis CdSe Quantum dot with a Microfluidic Reactor Using a Combinatorial Synthesis System)

  • A microfluidic reactor with computer-controlled programmable isocratic pumps and online detectors is employed as a combinatorial synthesis system to synthesize and analyze materials for fabricating CdSe quantum dots for various applications. Four reaction condition parameters, namely, the reaction temperature, reaction time, Cd/Se compositional ratio, and precursor concentration, are combined in synthesis condition sets, and the size of the synthesized CdSe quantum dots is determined for each condition. The average time corresponding to each reaction condition for obtaining the ultraviolet-visible absorbance and photoluminescence spectra is approximately 10 min. Using the data from the combinatorial synthesis system, the effects of the reaction conditions on the synthesized CdSe quantum dots are determined. Further, the data is used to determine the relationships between the reaction conditions and the CdSe particle size. This method should aid in determining and selecting the optimal conditions for synthesizing nanoparticles for diverse applications.

The Effects of Vocabulary Exercises on EFL Vocabulary Learning and Retention

  • This study investigates the effects of written vocabulary exercises on lexical knowledge. Korean university students learning English as a foreign language were randomly assigned to one of four conditions-Condition 1 (having students match word form with word meaning), Condition 2 (having students fill in the blank provided with a list of words), Condition 3 (having students write sentences with the target words), Condition 4 (having students do three practices with the same vocabulary exercise as the condition 1). Each type of exercises in Condition 1, 2, and 3 was designed to classify a different level of mental processing except Condition 4 with multiple encounters of the target words. Learners' vocabulary knowledge of this study was obtained using a format adopted from the Vocabulary Knowledge Scale (VKS) immediately and two weeks later. The findings indicated that: (1) Condition 4 having students do three matching vocabulary exercises was as effective as the condition 3 (one writing exercise) on the immediate learning of word; (2) although there was no significant difference of the effect of vocabulary exercises between Condition 3 and 4, Condition 4 asking students to do three matching vocabulary exercises was the most effective way of vocabulary retention after two weeks.

Implementation of the F-B function comparison on the body movement

  • To compare body signal, was designed the F-B function system on the body movement for the comfortable state. To detect subject of the normal state, was decided on the base of physical signal in the body movement. There are to detect the condition of Vision, Vestibular, Somatosensory and CNS. Vision condition was verified a variation of greater average (Vi-${\Phi}_{AVG-AVG}$) was presented slightly greater at $17.424{\pm}9.65$ unit. Vestibular condition was identified a variation of slightly greater average (Ve-${\Phi}_{AVG-AVG}$) was presented at $9.068{\pm}1.478$ unit. Somatosensory condition was checked a variation of smaller average (So-${\Phi}_{AVG-AVG}$) was presented slightly smaller at $2.79{\pm}0.419$ unit. CNS condition was confirmed a variation of diminutive smaller average (C-${\Phi}_{AVG-AVG}$) was presented slightly larger at $0.557{\pm}0.153$ unit. As the model depends on the F-B function system of body movement, average values of these perturbation were computed F-B function comparison data. These systems will be to infer a data algorithm and a data signal processing system for the evaluation of the stability.

지능이론을 이용한 자동차 트랜스미션 소재의 마찰조건 판정 (Decision of Friction Condition for Materials of Automobile Transmission by Theory of Intelligence)

  • A lubricated state of an automobile transmission can not be inspected directly with eyes. Thus, it needs to develop a more general method. Wear debris can be collected from the lubricants of operating transmission of an automobile and its morphology is directly related to the fiction condition of the interacting materials from which the wear particles originated in lubricated transmission. In this paper, to identify the friction condition for transmission gear by neural network, the wear test of ball-on-disk type and the analysis of friction state were carried out for carburized SCM420 and nitrocarburized NT100 under different experimental conditions. The four shape parameters($50\%$ volumetric diameter, aspect, roundness and reflectivity) of wear debris were calculated by the image processing system. They were used as input values to identify the moving condition of transmission gear by the neural network.

새로운 갱신조건을 적용한 부호책 생성 알고리즘 (A Codebook Generation Algorithm Using a New Updating Condition)

  • 벡터양자화에서 사용되는 부호책 생성 알고리즘들 중에서 가장 널리 사용되는 방법은 K-means 알고리즘이다. 본 논문에서는 부호책의 성능 개선을 위해 새로운 갱신조건을 적용한 부호책 생성 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 K-means 알고리즘은 모든 학습반복 과정 동안 부호벡터 갱신 시 거리의 가중치를 고정하지만, 제안된 방법은 학습반복 과정에서 새로운 부호벡터의 갱신 조건에 따라서 다른 가중치를 적용하여 부호책을 구한다. 따라서, 갱신 조건에 의해 부호벡터에 다른 가중치를 적용할 수 있고, 학습반복 과정마다 가변되는 가중치를 적용하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 실험 결과 K-means 알고리즘보다 부호책의 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

오염 입자 상태에 따른 레이저 충격파 클리닝 특성 고찰 (Investingation of Laser Shock Wave Cleaning with Different Particle Condition)

  • In semiconductor processing, there are two types of particle contaminated onto the wafer, i.e. dry and wet state particles. In order to evaluate the cleaning performance of laser shock wave cleaning method, the removal of 1 m sized alumina particle at different particle conditions from silicon wafer has been carried out by laser-induced shock waves. It was found that the removal efficiency by laser shock cleaning was strongly dependent on the particle condition, i.e. the removal efficiency of dry alumina particle from silicon wafer was around 97% while the efficiencies of wet alumina particle in DI water and IPA are 35% and 55% respectively. From the analysis of adhesion forces between the particle and the silicon substrate, the adhesion force of the wet particle where capillary force is dominant is much larger than that of the dry particle where Van der Waals force is dominant. As a result, it is seen that the particle in wet condition is much more difficult to remove from silicon wafer than the particle in dry condition by using physical cleaning method such as laser shock cleaning.

  • In order to make unmanned machining systems with satisfactory performances, it is necessary to incorporate appropriate condition monitoring systems in the machining workstations to provide the required intelligence of the expert. This paper deals with condition monitoring for tool wear and breakage during turning operation. Developing economic sensing and identification methods for turning processes, sound pressure measurement and digital signal processing technique are proposed. The validity of the proposed system is confirmed through the large number of cutting tests.
