DFM 개념을 적용한 MEMS design flow (MEMS Design Flow Based on DFM Concept)

  • MEMS design flow based on DFM concept is presented and applied to gyroscope design as a test case. It is purposed to contribute to the yield improvement by considering the process-related parameters from the design phase. After defining the performance requirements, the sensitivity analysis should be done on the draft design(s) to find out the key parameters related with the device performance. By doing so, TEG can be designed for the selected process and/or material parameters. Through a set of test runs, the process capability is characterized and the material properties are extracted using the TEG. Then we can estimate the virtual yield of the current process for the designed device by running Monte Carlo analysis where the process and/or material property variations are considered. The estimated yield will make us redesign the device to be more robust or improve the current process to have the smaller variations.

A Study on the Development of the Key Promoting Talent in the 4th Industrial Revolution - Utilizing Six Sigma MBB competency-

  • Purpose: This study suggests that Six Sigma MBB should be used as a key talent to lead the fourth industrial revolution era by training them with big data processing capability. Methods: Through the analysis between articles on the fourth industrial revolution and Six Sigma related papers, common competencies of data scientists and Six Sigma MBBs were identified and the big data analysis capabilities needed for Six Sigma MBB were derived. Then, training was conducted to improve the big data analysis capabilities so that Six Sigma MBB is able to design algorithms required in the fourth industrial revolution era. Results: Six Sigma MBBs, equipped with the knowledge in field site improvement and basic statistics, were provided with 40 hours of big data analysis training and then were made to design a big data algorithm. Positive results were obtained after applying a AI algorithm which could forecast process defects in a field site. Conclusion: Six Sigma MBB equipped with big data capability will make the best talent for the fourth industrial revolution era. A Six Sigma MBB has an excellent capability for improving field sites. Utilizing the competencies of MBB can be a key to success in the fourth industrial revolution. We hope that the results of this study will be shared with many companies and many more improved case studies will arise in the future as a result of this study.

광주광역시 치과위생사의 NCS 기반 직업기초능력 우선순위 분석 (Priority analysis of NCS based vocational core competency of dental hygienists in Gwangju)

  • Objectives: This study aims to investigate and analyzed the priority of vocational core competency factors in dental hygienists in Gwangju. Methods: Expert survey was conducted and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was applied to evaluate the weighting factors. First, we established the vocational core competency defined in NCS as AHP analysis model. The vocational core competency has 10 categories and 34 sub-categories. Secondly, AHP survey was conducted by 195 dental hygienists in Gwangju. Finally, the weights representing relative importance of each factor were calculated by using AHP method. Results: The AHP analysis on 10 categories showed that the weighting of interpersonal skills(0.165) was higher than any other categories while that of numeracy(0.035) was at the bottom, and the analysis on sub-categories revealed that the most important factors in each categories included the teamwork skills(interpersonal skills), problem-solving capability(problem-solving skills), listening skills(communication skills), ethical community(professional ethics), ability to understand business(ability to understand organizational structure), applicable technical skills(technical skills), self-management skills(self-development capability), information processing capabilities(information capacity), ability to manage time(resource management capabilities) and basic math skills(numeracy). Conclusions: The results in this study can be used as basic data for the development of liberal arts curriculum for dental hygiene education.

Industry 4.0 - A challenge for variation simulation tools for mechanical assemblies

  • Variation Analysis (VA) is used to simulate final product variation, taking into consideration part manufacturing and assembly variations. In VA, all the manufacturing and assembly processes are defined at the product design stage. Process Capability Data Bases (PCDB) provide information about measured variation from previous products and processes and allow the designer to apply this to the new product. A new challenge to this traditional approach is posed by the Industry 4.0 (I4.0) revolution, where Smart Manufacturing (SM) is applied. The manufacturing intelligence and adaptability characteristics of SM make present PCDBs obsolete. Current tolerance analysis methods, which are made for discrete assembly products, are also challenged. This paper discusses the differences expected in future factories relevant to VA, and the approaches required to meet this challenge. Current processes are mapped using I4.0 philosophy and gaps are analysed for potential approaches for tolerance analysis tools. Matching points of simulation capability and I4.0 intents are identified as opportunities. Applying conditional variations, incorporating levels of adjustability, and the un-suitability of present Monte Carlo simulation due to changed mass production characteristics, are considered as major challenges. Opportunities including predicting residual stresses in the final product and linking them to product deterioration, calculating non-dimensional performances and extending simulations for process manufactured products, such as drugs, food products etc. are additional winning aspects for next generation VA tools.

전자기 리니어 액츄에이터의 집중매개변수 모델링 및 해석 (Lumped Parameter Modeling and Analysis of Electromagnetic Linear Actuator)

  • An electromagnetic linear actuator is controlled precisely and securely and is useful in devices that require linear motion. The most commonly used method in the performance verification process for an electromagnetic actuator is finite element analysis that utilizes CAE. However, finite element analysis has the disadvantage that modeling and analysis consume a lot of time. Accordingly, lumped parameter analysis can be an alternative approach to the finite element method because of its computation iteration capability with fair accuracy. In this paper, the lumped parameter model and simulation results are presented. In addition, the results of the lumped parameter analysis are compared with those obtained from finite element analysis for verification.

Capability of Thermal Field-Flow Fractionation for Analysis of Processed Natural Rubber

  • Applicability of Thermal field flow fractionation (ThFFF) was investigated for the analysis of masticated natural rubber (NR) adhesives produced bya hot melt mastication process. An optimum ThFFF condition for NR analysis was found by using tetrahydrofuran (THF) as a solvent/carrier and a field-programming. Low flowrate (0.3 mL/min) was used to avoid stopping the flow for the sample relaxation. Measured molecular weight distribution was used to monitor degradation of rubber during the mastication process. Rubber samples collected at three different stages of the mastication process and were analyzed by ThFFF. It was found that in an anaerobic process rubber degradation occurs at the resin-mixing (compounding) zone as well as in the initial break-down zone, while in an aerobic process most of degradation occurs at the initial breakdown zone. It was also found that E-beam radiation on NR causes a slight increase in the NR molecular weight due to the formation of a branched structure.

게임플레이 가능성을 위한 감정요소 분석 프레임워크 (Analytic Framework of Emotion Factors for Gameplay Capability)

  • 본 논문은 MMORPG 게임플레이 경험에서 사용자의 행동패턴(Behavior Pattern)과 감정요소(Emotion Factors)간의 관계를 규명하여 사용자의 플레이 가능성(Play Capability)을 실증적으로 설계하기 위한 방법에 관한 것이다. 게임플레이 프로세스와 감정요소 도출을 모델링하기 위해 인지심리학적 측면(Process of Ruled-Based Systems on Cognitive Science Approach)에서 선행를 고찰하였다. 퀘스트(Quest)기반의 RPG게임내 특정상황에서 유저의 인지적 감정상태를 도출하기 위해 게임플레이 과정에서 생성되는 유저의 감정반응을 게임 설계과정에서 적용할 수 있는 프로세스를 정립하였다. 이러한 방법은 게임플레이 설계시 유저의 주류행동에 대한 통제 뿐만 아니라 비주류행동에 대한 감정상태의 실시간적 대응이 가능할 것으로 본다. 따라서 본 논문의 결과는 게임플레이 설계시 게임플레이 가능성을 향상시키기 위한 감정 분석 구조(Analytic Framework)를 제시함에 있어 의의를 갖는다.

한국 기업의 GSCM이 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 -전기·전자 산업을 중심으로- (An Empirical Study on the Critical Factor Affecting Business Performance thru GSCM of Korean corporations -Focusing on Electric & Electronic Industry-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 전기 전자 기업의 해외진출 정도에 따라 GSCM의 사업성과 결정요인에 대해서 분석하였다. GSCM을 구축한 국내 전기 전자 기업의 72개 기업들을 대상으로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 전기 전자 산업의 GSCM 결정요인으로 프로세스혁신 정보역량 파트너십 등 3개의 요인들로 측정하였으며, 사업성과 요인은 민첩성 요인으로 측정하여 연구모형에 포함시켜 실증분석을 한 결과 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째 GSCM의 프로세스혁신은 해외진출 정도가 높을수록 민첩성에 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째 GSCM의 정보역량은 해외진출 정도가 높을수록 민첩성에 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째 GSCM의 파트너십은 해외진출 정도가 높을수록 민첩성에 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 전기 전자 산업의 기업이 해외진출 정도가 높을수록 프로세스혁신 정보역량 파트너십 요인이 사업성과에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 연구결과를 도출하였고 향후 연구로 기업의 규모 해외경험 정도 등의 측면이 연구모형에 반영되어야 하겠다.

SCM 협력, 신제품 개발, 조직문화의 관계 (The Associations between SCM Collaboration, New Product Development, and Organizational Culture)

  • Although many prior studies have investigated the relationship between supply chain and new product development (NPD), the causal relationship between them has not been clearly established. Therefore, this study investigated systematically over the entire process of supply chain management (SCM) from trust to NPD capability, including not only the associations between trust, commitment, collaboration, supply chain quality, and NPD capability, but also the impact of organizational culture in the context of supply chain. In particular, this study examined the mediating effect of commitment on the relationship between trust and collaboration of channel members. In addition, it studies the moderating effect of organizational culture on the relationship between collaboration, supply chain quality, and NPD capability. Using a questionnaire survey, 112 usable responses are obtained. PLS (partial least square) is employed to assess the relationships among related constructs. The results of the data analysis show that (1) commitment mediates the link between trust and collaboration (2) supply chain quality is positively associated with NPD capability, and (3) organizational culture significantly moderates the association between collaboration and supply chain quality, yet it does not the relationship SC quality and NPD capability. Finally, the implications of the results are discussed, and directions for future research are suggested.

정보기술 수용성과 디지털미디어 활용역량이 시니어 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 기회인식의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Information Technology Acceptance and Digital Media Utilization Capability on Senior Entrepreneurship Intention: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Opportunity Recognition)

  • 글로벌 경제위기와 고령화 추세 그리고 급속한 디지털 전환은 한국 사회에 큰 부담이자 위기이다. 이러한 환경 변화와 경기침체는 시니어들의 퇴직 후 창업 및 재취업에 대한 이슈가 사회적으로 부상하고 있다. 본 연구는 시니어를 대상으로 하고 창업할 시 어떤 요인이 영향을 미치는지 실증 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 특히 4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞아 피할 수 없는 정보통신기술(ICT) 및 디지털 미디어에 대한 활용 역량에 초점을 두었다. 이를 실증적으로 분석하기 위해 시니어를 대상으로 온라인 설문 조사를 하였다. 유효한 287개를 분석대상으로 삼았다. 통계분석에는 SPSS 24.0와 Macro Process 4.0을 활용하였다. 본 연구의 실증 분석 결과, 정보기술 수용에 대한 자기효능감, 개인 혁신성, 디지털미디어를 활용한 커뮤니케이션 역량은 시니어 창업 의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 하지만 정보기술에 대한 지각된 유용성과 디지털미디어 기기 활용역량은 유의성이 나타나지 않았다. 유의한 영향을 미친 변인 중 개인혁신성이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기회 인식은 자기효능감, 개인혁신성, 커뮤니케이션 역량과 시니어 창업 의도 간에 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 시니어의 창업에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인 중에서 디지털미디어 활용역량 역시 영향을 미치는 요인임을 실증적으로 검정했다는 점에서 학술적 및 실무적 의미가 있다.
