  • Organic solar cells have attracted much interest due to the potential advantage of the lightness, simple solution processing and flexibility. Until recently, the focus of organic solar cells research has been on optimization of material processing to improve the power conversion efficiency. However, area scaling is an important position for alternative to the market dominating solar cells. Spray deposition technologies have advantage of less material wastage and possibility of large scale photoactive area coating when compared with spin coating process. We investigated the performance of organic solar cells as a function of active area using two types of deposition process. The commonly used process is spin coating which can be fabricated organic materials deposition for devices. Spray deposition process compare with spin coating for large-area organic solar cells. The spray deposition organic layer shows excellent performance up to the active area of $4\;cm^2$ with the PCE of ~3.0 % under AM.1.5 simulated illumination with an intensity of $100mW/cm^2$. This indicates that the spray deposition process can be used as a mass production process for evaluating large-area organic solar cells.

  • In any rapid prototyping process, the layer by layer building process introduces an area error between the staircase and the surface line specified by the computer-aided design model. This affects the dimensional accuracy as well as the surface finish for different Road Widths. This paper describes a methodology for computing the area error for any Road Width by the fused deposition modelling system. This technique can be applied to determine the best Road Width of the part, based on the minimum area error. This technique is verified by comparing the results with the experimental measurements of the area error with Road Widths.

  • Recently, STI(Shallow Trench Isolation) process has attracted attention for high density of semiconductor device as a essential isolation technology. Without applying the conventional complex reverse moat process, CMP(Chemical Mechanical Polishing) has established the Process simplification. However, STI-CMP process have various defects such as nitride residue, torn oxide defect, damage of silicon active region, etc. To solve this problem, in this paper, we discussed to determine the control limit of process, which can entirely remove oxide on nitride from the moat area of high density as reducing the damage of moat area and minimizing dishing effect in the large field area. We, also, evaluated the reliability and reproducibility of STI-CMP process through the optimal process conditions.

  • Local government with abundant natural resources should consider the nature conservation oriented planning process for the sustainable development. With this regard, the aim of this study is to provide a substantial methodology to support the decision-making process to designate the conservation areas. The objectives of the proposed methodology is to conserve natural resources in the local government's territory through quantitatively assessing the values of the natural resources based on various ecological factors such as topography, flora and fauna. In order to test the usability of the method, Gangneung City in Kangwon-Do is selected considering the latest data availability. Based on the assessment process land use of the subjected city could be categorized into 4 levels of conservative area, conservative level 1 area, conservative level 2 area, and conservative level 3 area. Among them, conservative area and conservative level 1 area could be combined as natural resources conservation area and the others could be regarded as buffer and transitional area. Especially conservation area is surrounded by conservation level 2 area. Conclusively, the GIS methods adopted in this could be the efficient illustrative tool to assess the local natural resource values with the central government established nature-environmental information systems.

  • This study investigates the effect of process stopping and restarting on the microstructure and local nanoindentation properties of 316L stainless steel manufactured via selective laser melting (SLM). We find that stopping the SLM process midway, exposing the substrate to air having an oxygen concentration of 22% or more for 12 h, and subsequently restarting the process, makes little difference to the density of the restarted area (~ 99.8%) as compared to the previously melted area of the substrate below. While the microstructure and pore distribution near the stop/restart area changes, this modified process does not induce the development of unusual features, such as an inhomogeneous microstructure or irregular pore distribution in the substrate. An analysis of the stiffness and hardness values of the nano-indented steel also reveals very little change at the joint of the stop/restart area. Further, we discuss the possible and effective follow-up actions of stopping and subsequently restarting the SLM process.

  • Global logistics including Korea had developed at various fields through the developed IT technology. In addition, in changing into Internet based digital economy times, economic and logistics activities became extending into worldwide over the cross-border. Logistics activity performed by off-line rapidly changed in real environment. But, unfortunately business process modeling about the whole logistics was not happened, even though process modeling had done by transport stages or logistics entities. Therefore, it is difficult to grasp the whole logistics. Additional cost and time was requested due to no association between logistics entities and invisibility. So, this paper has to be process modeling for logistics industry domain. For objective modeling, work area shall be divided and it extracts general work process per each area. And then it defines subprocess of general work process. Cargo tracking in logistics industry domain means to grasp the status and present states at transportation or storage stage. This paper defines business process and data model for electronic processed work area using the UN/CEFACT standard modeling methodology.

  • A novel wet release process ($\mu$ CARP - Micro Channel Assisted Release Process) for releasing an extreme large-area plate structure without etching hole is proposed and experimented. Etching holes in conventional process reduce a effective area and degrade an optical characteristics by a diffraction. In addition, as the area of a released structure increases, the stietion becomes more serious. The proposed process resolves these problems by the introduction of a micro fluidic channel beneath the structure which will be released. In this paper, a 5 mm${\times}$5mm-single crystal silicon plate structure was released by the proposed $\mu$CARP without etch holes on the structure. The variation in etching time with respect to the of the introduced micro channel is also examined. This process is expected to be beneficial for the actuator of a nano-scale data storage and the scanning mirror.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the changing process in the Ddeulzip of Jaeryoung Lee's clan family. The subject of this study is clan family of Jaeryoung Lee in Andong Area. The period of Ddeulzip's changing process is divided into largely three parts. The establishment process and changing process for Jaeryoung Lee's family is analyzed during early (15~16C), mid(17~18C) and late(19~20C) periods. The characteristics of early periods is that it made a main ancestral building of Ddeulzip form. Those of mid Chosun period is in their strong will to preserve their ancestral house. During the late period, many of the different styles of Ddeulzip were constructed due to the stable environment of both political and economical status. The residential house of Jaeryoung Lee family that were centered in Youngduk and Youngyang area include diverse forms for both high and middle class social status. Jaeryoung Lee family's Ddeulzip is thus considered to bring about the firm foundation as a clan family representing the Andong cultural area through the development of Ddeulzip.

  • A major concern in Gas Metal Arc (GMA) welding process is the determination of welding process variables such as wire diameter, gas flow rate, welding speed, arc current and welding voltage and their effects on the desired weld bead dimensions and shape. To successfully accomplish this objective, 81 welded samples from mild steel AS 1204 flats adopting the bead-on-plate technique were employed in the experiment. The experimental results were used to develop a mathematical model to predict the magnitude of bead geometry as follows; weld bead width, weld bead height, weld bead penetration depth, weld penetration shape factor, weld reinforcement shape factor, weld bead total area, weld bead penetration area, weld bead reinforcement area, weld bead dilution, length of weld bead penetration boundary and length of weld bead reinforcement boundary, and to establish the relationships between weld process parameters and bead geomery. Multiple regression analysis was employed for investigating and modeling the GMA process and significance test techniques were applied for the interpretation of the experimental data.
